I stand by my first statement that this is the one!
The world governments are caught in a giant clusterfuck of ignorance, confusion, and wrong decisions.
Keystone cops at the worst possible time…
It would appear that this virus operates on many levels; adaption may be its forte’…
While looking right; it goes left and up to the right…
Panic always leads to bad decisions…
While the bodies drop around us; those who remain calm, cool, and collected, strive for understanding; and making calculated moves, may lead us out of this…

Raul:. You really need to show a graph of the Diamond Princess’s coronavirus spread!

That will show what is really happening in Wuhan!

Going from 1 to 355 is some steep exponential!

Raul:. Notice how the DNC has cleverly positioned Bloomberg as the chosen one by simply floating a story about Bloomberg thinking about choosing Hillary as VP!

Bloomberg hasn’t even entered a single primary yet!

And Iowa has suddenly gone silent as if it never happened! Nice 100% media control!

Also notice that good old Bernie isn’t protesting at all! Trump is the only one pointing out that Bernie is being screwed again!

The DNC club is up to it’s usual non-democratic tricks!

I see you finally noticed that Japan hasn’t been able to test even a third of the people on the Diamond Princess!

It is only a matter of days before 355 climbs over 500!

Canada is finally removing passengers from the ship after the US shamed Trudope into action!

Trudope has been more concerned about winning a seat on the UN and travelling to Africa shelling out millions of Canadian taxpayer’s dollars than staying home dealing with domestic issues! A true communist!

The reason AG Barr is letting all the deep state actors go Scot free is he is more concerned about protecting the corrupt DoJ and the FBI!

And the reason Barr has appointed an outside prosecutor for Flynn is deny Flynn his legal rights! This move severely restricts the legal room Flynn lawyer Sidney Powel has to defend Flynn. LThis move follows up upon what Judge Sullivan’s last ruling did to strip Flynn of more of his rights.

Flynn is now in a very bad position which is likely to get even worst!

Likely Flynn will now be charged with additional crimes to offset letting McCabe go Scot free. People are basically saying they were both charged with lying! By charging Flynn with some differently crimes then they can justify jailing Flynn.

More importantly, let’s talk about the benefits of demonic possession!!

Sorry illargi, for some reason that really got me smiling…maybe ‘cuz I’m just down the road from Mr. Falwell and his University of Hypocrisy (HOW much Federal money flows into your pockets sir?!?)

    Okay, back to Covid19…

I’m actually a little surprised that we haven’t seen more viral hotspots at the big universities…I’ve heard there are cases in Dane County, WI (Madison), but that’s it.

A recent newspaper article regarding the universities referred to a “looming cliff” in enrollment due to demographics. C-19 could potentially accelerate that? Those institutions are sure great at scaling up, but not at scaling down!

Death from Old flue replaced by death from New flue.

It is being contained but not at 2.1%

The universities are the breeding ground of the enablers and the elites.
They do not get the same sicknesses as the rif-raf. /s
Wait …. schools are still open …. …. the flue is coming
Wait …. the flue does not travel by private jets
I did not hear of anyone getting sick because they went to the super bowl game.
There was no symptoms. ( Spending all that money must have given them protection) /s

Mike Bloomberg could team up with Hillary Clinton

She hasn’t stop reminding the voters of how she won and that she got robbed of being the president
Hilary for VP. Therefore, her marketing makes sense and will payoff.

    Data overload
We are receiving so much info that we frozen out of making decisions.
Making decisions opens us to more data. Round and round we go.
How did we ever survive/make it to today/retirement, with so little info available to make decisions.
    ——
    Input output
I want more info to make better decisions.
The sick are being removed from the cruise ship and being treated in hospital.
The healthy, (those with no symptoms), are being evacuated.
    What happened to the sick?
How would knowing help me make better decisions?

I assume that someone who is in the “decision tree” decided that I should mind my own business, not to interfere with what they are doing, and to shut up.

News from Africa. I’m reminded of what the CDC said earlier, “Negative test results can provide a false sense of security.”

People in contact with Egypt’s first recorded coronovirus case, a Chinese national, tested negative for symptoms in an examination conducted Saturday… no Egyptians returning from China were found to be infected.

Medical sources said that none of the Egyptians returning from Wuhan showed symptoms, and that their quarantine will end on Tuesday.

A security cordon was imposed by police 500 meters around the Nagelah Central Hospital in all directions, barring all entry or departure without a proper permit from Health Ministry.

Some more news about the cruise ship passengers who flew to Malaysia where one tested positive for Covid-19. All 145 passengers on that flight are considered close contacts, but 137 of them have already taken flights to somewhere else. There seems to be too much reliance on negative test results, and too much reliance on “asymptomatic” to mean “uninfected”.

“All 145 passengers who arrived onboard that flight were screened; two of them showed symptoms on the thermal scanner and were brought to Hospital Sungai Buloh for further tests,” the DPM said…“As such all other passengers on the flight are considered close contacts,” she said. Following this, the airline cancelled the three remaining chartered flights.

However, it was said that 137 of the 145 passengers who arrived here on MH8763, have boarded flights to other destinations. Six others are still awaiting connecting flights. “These six will be tested for Covid-19. If they test negative, they will be allowed to continue with their journey. If found positive, they will be warded at the hospital and monitored,“ she said.

The NYT has some more reporting on that story. The American woman in Malaysia tested positive twice for the coronavirus, and “the flights taken by the [other] passengers from Kuala Lumpur substantially increased the risk of a global pandemic.”

An American woman who disembarked from a cruise ship in Cambodia last week has tested positive twice for the coronavirus since flying on to Malaysia, officials in that country said on Sunday.

Cambodia allowed the ship, the Westerdam, to dock after five other countries turned it away over concerns about the coronavirus. Officials said that more than 140 other passengers from the Westerdam had flown from Cambodia to the airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital. All but eight had been allowed to continue to their destinations, including airports in the United States, the Netherlands and Australia.

Eyal Leshem, the director of the Center for Travel Medicine and Tropical Diseases at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel, called the disclosures “extremely concerning” and said the flights taken by the passengers from Kuala Lumpur substantially increased the risk of a global pandemic. “We may end up with three or four countries with sustained transmission of the virus,” he said.

Strange how the Diamond Princess has been ignored as the Petri-dish that it is. Everyone is partitioned off in the own rooms. Keeping their distance from other guests while on deck for fresh air. The Wuhan coronavirus like other cold viruses is highly contagious. My guess is that the virus spreaders are the crew that prepare and distribute the food and clean the ship but who do not have the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). The problem is the infected 1 to 3% who die of complications from viral pneumonia. I’d get off the ship. I trade two weeks in a military base’s officer quarters to avoid a minute in an intensive care unit.

Hubris prevails. Donald and Melania spun around the Daytona 500.

Like red septic ulcers, where spreaders land and join an uninfected population, medical centers will be overwhelmed within a month just like Wuhan. Infected cities and trade will shut down until the pandemic fades away to return with the next wave of deaths until the virus becomes a common cold or a vaccine is developed.

Vietnam Vet:. I am afraid you are right! The virus can only be stopped by cancelling airline flights out of China. Next flights out of infected countries will have to be stopped. We are on an escalator up!

What really worries me are the lack of testing kits available and the need to test people repeatedly not once!

The so called airport screening efforts are a joke! They only catch the already sick not any of the carriers!

Just to make everyone feel good.

Facemasks are being stolen from hospitals etc.
There will be a world wide shortage of all protection gear.
Those that will need them will not have them when they need them. ( dr., nurses, emergency personals, etc)

Hope that the virus doesn’t travel to where you live.

IMO, the single greatest threat we face is fear; and the irrational behavior that usually follows…
Those of evil intent will, secretly, welcome this pandemic gleefully; all the while publicly casting blame hither and yon…

Regharding politics and elections: in USA, these are very crowd-centric activities.

Methinks this is gonn be a political no-show year. Poor Donald gonna be stuck with the job no matter what.
