WES- I f I am directed to a ZH page from another site, the comment section is always closed. If it opens from the headlines page and the X panels don’t show, the comments are usually closed. Either way, a refresh of the page brings the comments (and the complete X panels) back up.
On a different note, I just got back from the local Walgreens where they were offering “FREE” covid shots. There were about a dozen people in line- mostly youngish- and I wanted to yell out: “Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!”

Ukraine:

One source of new fresh meat is coming from the ranks of the western Ukrainian boarder guards.
This has been made possible by Polish and Romanian soldiers taking over and replacing the Ukrainian border guards all along their common border areas.
These Polish and Romanian soldiers are now embedded as far as 2 kilometers into the Ukraine.This effectively seals off Ukraine’s western border as an avenue for Ukrainians to pay bribes to escape the Ukraine.
Ironically, even well placed Ukrainian border guards are no longer able to bribe their way out of being transfered to the Kursk front.In the battle to the last Ukrainian, first the Nazis came for the ordinary Ukrainian people, and we helped them by sealing off the border.
Now the Nazis have sealed off the border, and are now coming for us, and there is nobody left to speak up for us!

Quite right to point out to Celtic that darned and damned are different words, but on most computer screens, and with the system fonts that most browsers use, no one without a high-power microscope can see one darned bit of difference. I suppose you could throw in a strategically placed capital R or N to make them more easily discernable ( daRned kids? darNed lids?) or maybe just go all in with all caps ( those DARNED kids ?).
I dunno. It’s problematic, but then again so is Celtic’s attitude, one-track-grumpy.
Let’s just say it like it is with the way USAID spreads “Wokeism” to other countries . They do it. Everybody now knows that they do it, and everyone knows WHY they do it.
They do it to destabilize the targeted nation, and all of that DEI, transgenderism, cancel culture, perverted sexualization of children, etc ad nauseum is HOW they do it. Those morally and culturally degenerate practices are known to be terribly corrosive and destabilizing.
Which makes you have to wonder why USAID was spending billions of dollars to spread and promote those very same things to the entirety of the United States population as well. So that means It was being done for the same purposes and reason, doesn’t it? it has to ford destabilization and regime change, right?

I always take them down occasionally to soak in the Sun. They’re a blessing at altitude on a bright Glacier to avoid burning your eyes into blindness and prevent flying grit in your peepers. Same on a motorcycle to negate bugs in your eyes and road grit, wind burn.After an enlightening trip to the Himalayas, where the wonderful people of Nepal would look right into your eyes (gateway to the soul) and warmly say ‘Namaste’ ! – the softness of their sentiments as a reflection of “recognizing another life soul in this world of suffering and beauty”…
Adjusting back in the states after that experience- where Americans in the elitist PNW would look AT your eyes with judgement and disdain, not kindness and compassion- it was more than off putting. You know the looks- where people look at you, how you’re dressed, what you’re ‘worth’ etc…
I began to always wear sunglasses when going for a run around a popular city lake, to protect myself from the awful eye contact by the ‘Liberal intolerant hypocrite’ assholes….

It always irked me listening to the asshat politicians blathering about raising/ lowering taxes on their campaign lies trail. Whenever speaking to other Americans, I would always mention the tax topic seemed irrelevant because it was never about what was spent with those taxes…their eyes would always glaze over like I was speaking a different language.
