Ha! The US has been “testing” live weapons systems on an almost daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan for over a decade now. And I would venture a guess some Made in USA labels might be found on a few ordinance fragments in Gaza, as well.

    So?

Is that against the, uhh,,,law? Will citations be issued, and notices to appear in municipal court?

I think the problem here is that not enough voters/pundits have been on the receiving end of the flawed philosophies of war.

They somehow attempt to assign some sort of logic and reason to it’s inherent chaos.

Scathing article by Dmitri Orlov re Ukraine:

“Why did the Ukrainians deploy their Buk M1 batteries and radar in Donetsk region, even though there was no enemy for them to shoot at? Because they are idiots. Why was there a Ukrainian Sukhoi 25 jet fighter in the air there? Trailing behind passenger jets and using them as human shields is standard Ukrainian practice. Why did that fighter zoom up into the Boeing’s flight corridor and pop up on air traffic control radar at the exact time the Boeing was shot down? That’s a standard evasive maneuver: the pilot saw a missile being launched, and tried to get out of its way by aiming up. If he hadn’t done that, then the story would have been that Ukrainians shot down their own jet fighter as part of a successful (by Ukrainian standards) exercise, held in the vicinity of an international passenger flight just to spice things up. Why did Dnepropetrovsk APC redirect the flight over the war zone and the Buk M1 batteries? Because the Ukrainians had recently issued an order that closed the airspace over Donetsk, well below the plane’s cruising altitude and away from its flight path, but perhaps something was lost in translation to Ukraine’s wonderfully precise official language, and so the APC redirected the flight right over the closed airspace and told it to fly right above the minimum altitude. Why did the Ukrainians launch the rocket? Well, that was probably something like what happened in the movie The Three Stooges in Outer Space. The stooges find themselves inside a rocket. Moe gets hungry and pushes a button that he thinks says “LUNCH” except that it says “LAUNCH.” Hilarity ensues.”

“The one person they added to the list was a 2-year old girl. Isn’t that just the saddest thing on the planet?”

Yes, it is. It’s sad that anyone was lost, but a 2-year old is just heartbreaking.

Deliberate western terrorism, not an unfortunate war accident:

NEW MH17 SENSATION: German experts point finger at Ukrainian air-force jets.

“The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed.” – Paraphrased from Joseph Goebbels

I mean, after all, we are talking about nazis in Kiev, right? So taking a page from Goebbels would be S.O.P. for them.

The Ukrainian military accidentally brought down another commercial plane in 2001 – Siberia Airlines Flight 1812 – killing all passengers on board.

This is how these BUK M-1 surface-to-air missiles work. They are designed to explode 30 to 90 meters from their target, shooting shrapnel at high speed into the plane’s hull, engine and wing flaps. Deadly.

But if the experts find that the cockpit was hit from both sides, that would rule out that a BUK did it. The Russians said that they saw on their radar at least one fighter jet 3 to 5 kilometres from MH17, stating at one point that it was an SU-25 and at another that it was an SU-27. Apparently SU-25’s aren’t meant to fly that high (30,000 feet), but Ukraine does have 50 SU-27’s which can easily reach this height. One fellow described the SU-27’s as being capable of carrying various types of ammunition:

“It’s whatever are loaded in the 30mm cannon ammunition feed belts. There are two cannon, so you could have a different flavor on each wing to be fired together or independently. You could even alternate fused explosive, fragmentation (think shotgun), and incendiary or tracer rounds in any proportion(s) desired.”

Professor – Was this plane MH370? It wouldn’t surprise me at all. But are these the same bodies? I highly doubt it, since most of the passengers on MH370 were Chinese.

Few people remember that post 911 Greenspan made a couple of dozen trips to the White House. A much higher frequency than pre W. People are still scratching their over the ultra low Fed controlled short rates right through most of 2004. Well figure it out. Sheesh. He was under tremendous pressure to help in the War On Terrorism, by helping people shop. Which you may recall was Bush’s main advice to Americans post 911.

I mention this because with more indistinct wars here now,how will Yellen stand up to the pressure that will come when the stock market dip comes as QE ends. Keeping asset bubbles floating high is the best defense against the worlds big corporations from ‘siding’ with Russia. The best defense and offense we have in the economic war now being launched.

Then too, with all sorts of trouble brewing in the EU who would be against Dragi pulling out all the stops? Nobody smart I would guess. It’s probably just me at this moment but I can forsee central bank money printing on a vast scale in order to help the (economic) war effort. Principals be damned. This will be sold as an existential threat to our nations and their way of life. I suppose the word freedom will be thrown about as well.

Re the Russian questions and news conference, a commenter said the Russians would already have known what happened, but wanted to give the U.S. an “out”:

“My guess is that the Russians hoped that the US would throw the Ukrainians under the bus. When they did not do so, the Russians understood that a state of war existed between Russia and the US.”

Putin has given Obama and the U.S. an “out” before. This sounds plausible to me.

Here is the best explanation I have come across:

“MH17 Verdict: Real Evidence Points to US-Kiev Cover-up of Failed False Flag”

    https://21stcenturywire.com/2014/07/25/mh17-verdict-real-evidence-points-to-us-kiev-cover-up-of-failed-false-flag-attack

No way was it an accident. This is deliberate cold-blooded murder – in our names.

rapier – wars are very expensive. Stockman gives his view:

“So the sanctimonious yelping from Washington about the sacred territorial integrity of the Ukraine is a historical tommyrot. In fact, however, it is a thin fig leaf for a far more insidious purpose. Namely, the self-aggrandizement of the Warfare State machinery that was left stranded in Imperial Washington without purpose or justification when the Cold War ended two decades ago.

So the Warfare State machinery—including its spy network, state department, aid agencies and NGO supplicants— invented enemies and missions to justify their continued existence and their massive dissipation of fiscal resources. Those are upwards of $1 trillion annually if you count everything including veterans and homeland security.”

On Dominoes, WMDs And Putin’s “Aggression”: Imperial Washington Is Intoxicated By Another Big Lie

A big machine in need of perpetual war. Sounds like the stock market in need of perpetual stimulus. I say we get rid of the war machine, stop the stimulus, let the gears grind hard. Ilargi is right, this is about oil and gas, and it’s about keeping the military establishment (forces, weapons contractors) happy. I mean, what would these clowns do without war?

rapier – “This will be sold as an existential threat to our nations and their way of life. I suppose the word freedom will be thrown about as well.” I’ve read and talked to very few who think this way. Most people on the blogs are not buying it, nor are people I’ve personally talked to. They’re hearing it, but they’re not swallowing it.

“Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) spokesman Michael Bociurkiw escorted the team of 12 monitors through the crash site overnight and confirmed that they had found more human remains. […]

They also made what Mr Bociurkiw called “an extraordinary finding”, a large and previously overlooked section of the fuselage, with windows and seats still attached.
Discovered in a wooded area more than a kilometre away from the main crash site, it is the largest intact piece of the fuselage to be found by investigators.

Mr Bociurkiw said parts of the wreckage that the team inspected yesterday had “almost machinegun types of holes”. […]

The head of the Dutch police mission also had difficulties when attempting to recover more bodies from the site.

“But the process is not over, there are still remains in your country and it’s very hard to get there because there are some, and I would say it’s not politically correct, but there are still some lunatics there,” Jan Tuinder said. “It’s very hard for us to get to the remains.”

However, the OSCE denied that there had been any incidents.”

Some saying the rebels are lunatics, OSCE saying they’ve had no problems. Who to believe! But the fuselage had “machine-gun types of holes”. Almost implying a roundness to the holes. Would shrapnel make a round hole or a cut?

On that GMO article in the links above, “The Agricultural Holocaust”:

“There is also zero willingness in the minds of GMO-fronting scientists to even consider the possibility that they might be wrong. One such GMO front man named Jon Entine has even written a book with one of the most disturbingly arrogant titles imaginable: “Let them Eat Precaution.”

Why is this allowed to happen? The title of my book would be “Let Them Eat a Jail Cell.”

” … There’s A War Going On Already in Europe”
There HAS ALWAYS BEEN a War Going On in Europe.

I cannot find a time period of 20 years when European blood has not been spilt for a “cause”.
Even the “patatoe famine” was a “cause”
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Famine_(Ireland)
Records show during the period Ireland was exporting approximately thirty to fifty shiploads per day of food produce. As a consequence of these exports and a number of other factors such as land acquisition, absentee landlords and the effect of the 1690 penal laws, the Great Famine today is viewed by a number of historical academics as a form of either direct or indirect genocide.[7]

(Sorry, I posted this to the previous thread, it belongs here)

The russia sanctions thing seems to have dropped priority on the BBC News website over the last few days. I have noticed a change in tone and where they have previously said approximately that the “west believes that the separatists were responsible”, it now says that the “west says that the separatists were responsible”
Today’s story is not on the top headlines and does not have a caption picture:
Ukraine crisis: Malysian and Dutch PMs discuss MH17 access

Weren’t they going to do a press release about sanctions today? It be interesting to see how much they back down.

I guess the balance of evidence is now strongly implicates Kiev and to shout about sanctions looks ridiculous, The main stream media are trying to throw the whole thing down the memory hole.
