    Epstein? Really?
The view from the Hermitage is (once we clean our lens) that this is so much garbage/distraction.
    The timing is perfect.
Much ado about nothng; actually its much ado about our whole society.
So corrupt; so debased; so rotten; so much a statement about how far we’ve fallen; Sodom and Gomorrah wrapped into one neat package.
A pivital moment if only we would grab it!
But we won’t; just another sign post on the road to ruin…

The economy is so great, they’re panic dropping rates! So great car sales are plummeting. So great 30% of NYC real estate is behind on payments.

…As we know the BLS has been escalating lies since Carter. But, works like a charm, everyone quotes them as fact, ignoring 95% of the counties in the U.S. But they’ve been ignoring and destroying them since the 90’s. The 1890s.

“Trump Tasks Aides to Find a Way to Weaken the US Dollar (CNBC)”

Of course he did. We’re never going to pay the debt. We’re going to default, or rather, restructure. And with a printing press, governments will always default by inflation. Besides, the consequent raising of the gold price will re-set the exponential debt. However, I expect they’ll have to swap into Dollar2.0, and 3.0, since they’re garbage people with garbage ideas.

“how central to progressive thinking was the combatting of “vice.” After all, if the goal was to create a just society, it also had to be a wholesome society;”

Of course, they also caused the catastrophe of Prohibition, supercharged organized crime for 50 years, and supported the KKK, but let’s look on the bright side of “wholesome” here. People always mean well. Point here is, Hey, ain’t sex slavery illegal? Somebody oughta tell Epstein not to rape. And the governors, congressmen, and federal officials on his flight list: https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/1507315-epstein-flight-manifests.html

“Schumer Got Thousands in Donations from Jeffrey Epstein (NYP)”

Speaking of. It won’t matter though. It never, never matters. Reality: we make it up!™ Now you see why he has to have someone tangentially related to Epstein in his cabinet even in order to break the case. That guy, Acosta, then is hounded by the press in the first ever conference anyone cares about. And what does he say, where they are all present and can’t ignore him?

“he had “been told” to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone.”

Golly, Alex, WHOSE intelligence agency? Seems like you would know. A small nation on shores of the eastern Mediterranean? Asking for a friend, because THESE guys the WaPo, the NYT, CNN, sure won’t. Nope! Not unless it’s Trump! RussiaRussiaRussia!

Don’t worry. They will bury this and the blackmail implications with all the determined force they can muster.

P.S., so this “intelligence agency” is in the business not only of blackmailing Presidents and Congressmen, but raping a little girls? Hmm, perhaps something we shouldn’t support, even in the name of low-down dirty spy work? But don’t worry, they will be all over Acosta and bury the hundreds, thousands, of girls who were abused. …But like Epstein and his blackmail circle did. Right, Chuck?

“I am uncomfortable having received money from someone who has been accused”

Speaking of, he wasn’t “accused”, he was convicted years ago and served time, however soft, with sex registries in 31 states. Oh and for equal opportunity operations, guess who Steve Bannon visited in Manhattan, the day Epstein got out? I’d say look it up but Google has probably purged it by now, as they’ve been feverishly purging all the pictures, articles, and search results. They promised to rig the 2020, and they’re men of their word! Freedom!

“Deutsche Bank severed business ties with Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year,”

Earlier this year? It’s been going on for 30 and he was convicted like 7 years ago. But if you’re a centrist, milquetoast conservative like Crowder, they close your accounts. See above about the 2020, as Facebook literally makes it policy to call for the death of Paul Joseph Watson, and anyone the media doesn’t like, against 220 years of U.S. law, and indeed common law going back 1,000 years. Yes, some speech is illegal, like calling for specific credible death threats and inciting a mob to violence. But not to Facebook: they have made it corporate policy to write their own laws. I guess one of these two, corporations and governments, will become subject and slave to the other. Let us choose wisely.

This is the DeutcheBank that works with notorious drug runners HSBC, who is best friends with JPM who just had that $1B coke bust in Philly, and who loves the Fargo that bought jumbo jets on behalf of the Mexican drug cartel Zetas. Good thing they’re so moral and on our side!

“I’m going to burn it down and build up something better.”

Not really. Burning things down is a leftist, trotskyist value, as seen in Antifa. Trump isn’t burning anything down, as you see in slow capture of wheels of government, and his constant obedience to court rulings, however erroneous and contradictory. Conservatives try to build and put things back on track. Maybe because they have something to lose? Don’t know. Conserving means you believe in the U.S., the government, tradition, the nation, and the principles – or rather ideals – it tries to live up to. Revolution means destroying all that and replacing it with your own face.

“[Johnson] has refused to rule out suspending, or proroguing, parliament”

Aw, he won’t tie his own hands for them before even starting? What a drag. They should get May in there, she’ll do that for them. Any idiot would keep their options as open as they can. And Boris is indeed an idiot.

“UK, US Claim Iranian Boats Attempt to Seize Tanker in Strait of Hormuz (ZH)”

Still desperate to start a war and escape with their crimes now that the mine gambit and drone gambit have failed. They’re nothing if not unimaginative, boring, and singleminded zealots to their master.

    Twitter Trump:

“Could you imagine having Sleepy Joe Biden, or @AlfredENeuman99, or a very nervous and skinny version of Pocahontas (1000/24th), as your President, rather than what you have now, so great looking and smart, a true Stable Genius..”

I am one of the blind being led by the one eyed man.
All that I see, Bits and pieces,

We really are blind men being led by a one eyed man.
    Pablo Picasso Guernica 1937
This is not the picture of reality?
This is the way the one eyed man is presenting reality to the blind.
Guernica is certainly the his most powerful political statement, painted as an immediate reaction to the Nazi’s devastating casual bombing practice on the Basque town of Guernica during Spanish Civil War.

    Caitlin Johnstone:
Endless war is a 100 percent indispensable element in preserving existing power structures. The US-centralized empire cannot exist without it. The trouble for the empire, however, is that it can’t just come out and tell the public “Yeah we need to destroy everyone who opposes our resource control agendas and dominance in key geostrategic regions, so we’ll be forcibly eliminating this noncompliant government on Thursday.” The public would never go for it, because that’s a plainly sociopathic values system which we are taught since school age that our society evolved beyond many generations ago…
The primary role US-led warmongering plays in maintaining existing power structures, which I first started to notice during the 2016 Democratic primaries, is on even clearer display during the 2020 Democratic primaries. You see candidates like Bernie Sanders being frowned upon by hardline centrists for promoting domestic policies which would hurt the profit margins of the oligarchs, but overall he’s being treated as a legitimate candidate and receiving reluctant coverage on mainstream media networks. Then you look at the treatment of a candidate like Tulsi Gabbard, who is campaigning on a major overhaul of US foreign policy, and she’s treated as a raving lunatic and a traitor…
You can get away with promoting things like universal healthcare or student debt forgiveness with only moderate pushback from the establishment, but wanting to scale back the forever war will quickly see you branded a Russian asset or an antisemite and canceled. The empire won’t even tolerate you interfering with their narratives, let alone getting elected. Your voice will be targeted with an aggressive smear campaign until they make sure that hardly anyone is listening to what you have to say.

Opposing War Is The Best Approach To Revolution

Maybe I’m being unfair to dedicated public servants, but it looks like rats chewing each other’s eyes out.
Acosta held a press conference in which he vehemently defended the deal to serve just 13 months in county jail – saying that Krischer would have let Epstein walk otherwise.
”Simply put, the Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office was willing to let Epstein walk free. No jail time. Nothing,” said Acosta. “Prosecutors in my former office found this to be completely unacceptable, and we became involved.”
Not true says Krischer – who said that Acosta abandoned a 53-page federal indictment “after secret negotiations between Mr. Epstein’s lawyers and Mr. Acosta,” according to The Hill.

The Mockingbird posted this fact-filled research on Epstein in 2016:
Taking one step back to look beyond Florida and another step back to look into history and one views a different picture. It is of a billionaire and a spy’s daughter providing minors for sex to very important people in a house full of cameras. That same billionaire has an armored Mercedes, a friend with a command center, business relations with multiple CIA backed airlines, connections to the mob, many friends in the media and was associated with the false PR that lead to the Iraq war.

Cat sent this from Phil Giraldi:
But whose intelligence service? CIA and the Russian FSB services are obvious candidates, but they would have no particular motive to acquire an agent like Epstein. That leaves Israel, which would have been eager to have a stable of high-level agents of influence in Europe and the United States. Epstein’s contact with the Israeli intelligence service may have plausibly come through his associations with Ghislaine Maxwell, who allegedly served as his key procurer of young girls. Ghislaine is the daughter of Robert Maxwell, who died or possibly was assassinated in mysterious circumstances in 1991. Maxwell was an Anglo-Jewish businessman, very cosmopolitan in profile, like Epstein, a multi-millionaire who was very controversial with what were regarded as ongoing ties to Mossad. After his death, he was given a state funeral by Israel in which six serving and former heads of Israeli intelligence listened while ..Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir eulogized: “He has done more for Israel than can today be said”.
This time, if it was indeed an Israeli operation, it might prove difficult to cover up the story since the pedophile aspect of it has unleashed considerable public anger from all across the political spectrum. Senator Chuck Schumer, self-described as Israel’s “protector” in the Senate, is loudly calling for the resignation of Acosta. He just might change his tune if it turns out that Israel is a major part of the story.

If the 99.9% convert all of their liquid capital to cash and then fail to pay interest and principal on outstanding loans for several months it might send a powerful message to the folks who know best.

Could not agree more John Day. The warmongering is just insane a waste of resources and lives. What could our world really be without it? It is worth sending Gabbard a buck just to say fu to the DNC. Even the liberal MSM is shutting her down and I mean shows like Cobert and The View. Here is an interesting article on it the comment section has several video clips of Gabbard being diminished by the people you would think would support her views. https://www.commondreams.org/views/2019/05/08/corporate-media-target-gabbard-her-anti-interventionism-word-they-can-barely

Memory is a strange thing. The new Jeff Epstein indictment brings us right back to the plea deal in 2008. This was at the end of Bush II Administration. The last one to jail a corporate CEO, Jeff Skilling. Jeff Epstein was also jailed but with the sweetest deal possible. The 2008 economic crisis was bad enough that a 47 year old black globalist defeated a Vietnam War veteran, John McCain. My recollection back then was that the news media wasn’t all propaganda, GWOT was ongoing but the Cold War was a thing of the past, no tariff wars, and Washington DC didn’t flood. Yet, Donald Trump could still be re-elected next year if he avoids a world war and plays his tribe’s anthem.

“Unemployment has fallen about three full points since 2014 but inflation is no higher today than it was five years ago”. In other words; the number of workers and their income are both too low to cause wage inflation. This is the best of years only if you are a global billionaire. The number of which has doubled from 1,124 to 2,208 in the past decade.
