Ugh. I can’t believe they let Trump turn a fumble into a touchdown. At the same time, going too far and winning that – and maybe even destroying the Democratic Party like he did 15 candidates, the GOP, and the media – means it’s finally got blowback from other dummies at his rally. Ha ha, you dopes: she’s a U.S. citizen with free speech. I think you’re for that. This sort of thing is the first warning of committing suicide and leaving a one-party system.
He denounces, but what’s the point? They will never care so why bother? A lifetime of charity for black causes and that means nothing to them. Here’s a man who lost the popular vote by a couple of million in 2016 (if you dispute that, please don’t confuse voter registration fraud with voter fraud). To roll to an easy victory in 2020, he’d have to either increase turnout among the MAGA hat wearers or change a lot of people’s minds to his POV. The former is certainly possible, although the Evangelicals were already reliable in 2016. That latter, in my opinion, is nearly impossible. Maybe there are a silent cohort of 2016 Clinton voters who are getting on the Donny train, who knows?
One more thing. I am a definite “Republicans suck, Democrats suck” type of voter. But I think Orange Julius is a little bit much (ahem, racist) and will vote, with nose held, for whomever the Democrats put up next year. Think I am the only one?

‘IRAN’ DRONE
The US says the drone was destroyed ‘immediately’ but then says it was downed by electronic interference, which is not ‘immediate’ to my mind.
Given the closeness to the ship it would have easy to recover the debris to prove it was Iranian. Even some film footage, anything…any evidence at all!
Unfortunately the US has a habit of lying and in this case I would believe Iran.
If the ordinary people are responsible for the majority of GDP growth, then most of the ordinary people need more money to spend, to make the GDP higher.
If you ( you = the rich and powerful) don’t want the GDP to grow then cut wages, cut social services, increase interest on borrowing, make housing unaffordable, put tariffs on cheap imports, increase cost until people have no money to spend, print money for a selected few, and give money to the rich (yourself).

You’re right, the Democratic plan stinks. I also have Bernie and Tulsi at the top of my list. But, incompetent as the Dems are, I don’t want a Trump running a society that will be fighting over scraps. He is about the worst person you can imagine being at the helm in a contracting society.
In the end, the popular vote for D and R in 2020 won’t vary by more than 2-3%.
This was the wettest coldest spring we have had in many years. We sat out last night had some wine and watched the sunset.. last year we could not have done that we would have been eaten alive. saw maybe 1/2 dozen mosquitos. The birds here have a disease they walk around with their mouths open the cannot drink and they eventually die of thirst. The lightning bugs seem to be about 1/10th of what they were last year, We live in a rural very clean area. People are worried that there kids may have to grow up and have socialized medicine or that the democratic party may move to the left. . All that may just be deck chairs on the titanic.
