Trump will be hard pressed by both parties in Congress to cancel the MoU. His critics however fail to point to better alternatives. Strategic oil reserves are running dry, tankers are still held up in Hormuz, and even if things go well it will take many months for oil prices to come down to more normal levels. (Things would by the way be much worse if China had not rapidly decreased its imports of oil.)
The continuing lack of oil on the market is giving Iran an huge advantage in upcoming negotiations.

No political power exists in the US able to stop subsidy of Israeli aggression and commitment of atrocities. The US oversaw a genocide in Gaza without any consequences to deliveries of arms or changes to the policies supporting Israel’s intentions to kill anyone anywhere. The only way Congress will ever attempt to legitimately remove Trump from the presidency is if Trump withholds arms deliveries and ends US air defenses over Israel.
An example of how well Israel has captured the identity of American support was broadcast on PBS Newshour last night with an ‘up close and personal’ report of an Israeli captain wounded recently in Lebanon. Captain Micha has an English accent. The report does not say if he is an immigrant to Israel, nor did it contain any condemnation of his role in the illegal occupation and destruction of villages and towns in Lebanon.
