Slow thinkers like me see 3 or 4 post go by before they can finish writing down their thoughts.

Here is an accumulation of thoughts that some readers might find useful.

    Good hunting and fishing.

Since the beginning of time, humans have faced threat to their survival.

ONLY A FEW INDIVIDUALS WERE ABLE TO SEES THOSE IMPENDING THREATS.

One of the reasons that there are still humans running around this planet is that there were some gifted individuals, like you, who could figure out that there was a threat to their survival; A “gift”, AND They took steps to maximize their chances of survival.

Since you are reading this, You are, therefore, among the selected few special people with that “gift” and you will be able to maximize your chances of survival.

Don’t worry, You do not need to be among the top 0.01% that have money and power to survive. Even a millionaire will need a community of skilled people to set up a “green zone” or an alternate survival environment. You only need to find and be an asset to the millionaires who are taking steps to survive. Chose your alliances properly. Just because someone is among the top 0.01% does not mean that they are making the right choices for survival.

    Here are some survival stories.

    1. “God punished Adam and Eve, and all their descendants, by making their lives hard. No longer could they live in the perfect world of the Garden of Eden. Men would have to struggle and sweat for their existence. Women would have to bear children in pain and be ruled over by their husbands. Adam and Eve were thrown out of the beautiful Garden of Eden forever.”

    2. Noah’s Ark was round, 4,000-year-old tablet suggests

A recently deciphered 4,000-year-old tablet from ancient Mesopotamia — modern-day Iraq — reveals striking new details about the roots of the Old Testament tale of Noah.

The flood story recurs in later Mesopotamian writings including the “Epic of Gilgamesh.”

He believes the tale was likely passed on to the Jews during their exile in Babylon in the 6th century BC.

    3. An other example is
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lot’s_wife

The narrative of Lot’s wife begins in Genesis 19 after two angels arrived in Sodom, at eventide, and were invited to spend the night at Lot’s home. As dawn was breaking, Lot’s visiting angels urged him to get his family and flee, so as to avoid being caught in the impending disaster for the iniquity of the city. Lot delayed, so the angels took hold of his hand, his wife’s hand and his daughters and brought them out of the city. The command was given, “Flee for your life! Do not look behind you, nor stop anywhere in the Plain; flee to the hills, lest you be swept away.”[1] Lot objected to the idea of fleeing to the hills and requested safe haven at a little town nearby. The request was granted and the town became known as Zoar. Traveling behind her husband, Lot’s wife looked back, and turned into a pillar of salt.[2]

    4. The Tower of Babel
    Genesis 11:1-9
    New International Version (NIV)

11 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward,[a] they found a plain in Shinar[b] and settled there.
3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”
5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[c]—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

    5. The Exodus

Can you find other narratives from history that would indicate that life was great but it changed?

Maybe we should just get China’s Central Committee to come over and fix this all, by simply setting our GDP at 7.5% too?

Monetarists, every damn one of ’em!

It’s not the inevitable end result of all this that grates.

    It’s the waiting!
