This isn’t new news for TAE, but Zerohedge posted Gail Tverberg’s “Russia’s attack on Ukraine represents a demand for a new world order”. Basically the article says the invasion is due to oil depletion and Russia’s demand that it be paid more for its oil and natural gas exports. This is one explanation for the inexplicable decision to risk WWIII and invade Ukraine. I do agree that this is a resource war. Western corporations want to profit off of Russia’s resources by destabilizing the Kremlin. Also, this is an ethnic war. It can only end when Ukraine is partitioned. Except likely there will be nothing left to partition after the attempted extermination of all the “neo-Nazi” Ukrainians, the collapse of the West from worker, energy and food shortages, and current corrupt governments that are so incompetent they appear unable to prevent the ignition of a nuclear war.

@VietnamVet regarding Gai Tverberg’s “take” on the reasons and significance of Russia’s military actins in Ukraine.

It struck me during the wee hours of this morning that the dramatic “ENORMITY” aspect and earth shaking “SIGNIFICANCE” and “IMPORTANCE” aspects of historic events are merely literary artifacts in our minds, placed there with the assistance of writers and “historians” (not to mention movie directors and politicians). In true reality these events are in reality quite physically distance from us, and mostly indistinguishable from the other mundane things that fill our days except for the manner in which we are told that happened. To the unfortunate few who are VERY VERY physically close to the actual action the events are dramatic alright ( those people who are actually in combat or under the falling bombs) , but for those who are out of earshot of the explosions, or far out of the line of sight of the bombs’ visible destruction, the days go on being much like like all of the other days. Mostly ordinary, often dull. It is the breathless reports, impassioned editorial essays, endless replay of repeated imagery over the electronic media, and history books provide us with all of the “color” that we were not present to witness directly for ourselves. These second, third, and fourth hand reports are the only DIRECT information we will ever have of the “historic” events that mostly occurred somewhere other than the time and place we were when they happened.

History, therefore, is very very small except for how we envision it in our minds, and our minds are fully engaged only with those things which happen to involve us personally . . . in accordance with our own choices as to how much importance to place on the various things in our individual lives.

I will be thinking and posting a lot more on this idiosyncratic observation in the near future. For example, it may well be that the biggest war in human history . . . the Covid Genocide War . . . is already mostly over except for the mopping up of the top echelons of the psychopaths who attempted it. Only in the retrospective telling, retelling ( and re-retelling) of “history” will this mighty struggle, and near miss with extinction for our species, will it all take on the mantle of glory, heroism, drama and pageantry that we think proper “history” entails.

I feel compelled to say again that it all started to with a former mental patient named Paul, whose last name I don’t even remember, and whose very existence is almost absent from the historic record. Without Paul, NONE of the earth changing events of the past 50 years (culminating in humankinds’ near-death experience . . . it’s brush with extinction . . . would have occurred.

(I refer you to my post #103474 for the details mentioned in what now follows)

Paul collected documentation that was the first and ONLY early exposure of CIA’s MK Ultra program.
The documents revealed incontrovertible evidence of the BIGGEST pharmaceutical companies involvement in INCREDIBLY evil human experimentation on human subjects for American, English, Swiss and UK intelligence/financial interests.
Paul gave the documentary material to Fred Rock (a brave smart decent man and cultist wack-job extraordinaire)
Fred used the documents to stir up a media shit storm against the Missouri Institute of Psychiatry (I helped him in a minor capacity to stir up the shit storm).
The shit storm naturally drew the ALARMED attention of CIA (and in particular CIA Directors of that 70’s era Colby and Helms).
Helms and Colby attempted to sweep MK Ultra atrocities it under the rug by nuking Fred and the cult . . . but it was too late. The cat was out of the bag and the scandal kept growing, little by little.
This eventually led to the so-called “Church Committee” investigation and minor curtailment of CIA’s MK programs ( MK, possibly a Nazi Germanized moniker for “Mind Kontrol”, the mind set and evil Nazi purposes from which it had originated).
The myriad of “leads” generated by these scandals fed uncounted “conspiracy theories”, many of which did of course have vague and imprecise ( but basically legitimate) links and ties back into older the older evils that had led the Nazi’s and spies and oligarchs to dream up MK Ultra shit in the first place.
It all gets very very very very messy at that point . . . not to mention more evil and dangerous . . . with the foray into genetic engineering, bio weaponry . . . with computers and artificial intelligence providing the means of actually DOING what would never have been technically possible without computers and artificial intelligence.
And so so and so until we reach today, and the impending major setback for the forces of evil as people all over the world start revealing more and more bigger and bigger truths out into the light of day . . . but the START of those revelations was the mental patient, Paul. He’s the guy who kicked the lid off. Through these bombshell reports of previously suppressed truths it looks like like humankind will narrowly escapes destruction once again.. . but they couldn’t have done it if Paul had not gathered those documents nd spilled them to the world.
So the entire world owes its survival to an almost anonymous fundamentally decent souled paranoid delusional mad-bomber mental patient named Paul.

In closing: It is nearly dawn and I am almost unconscious with physical fatigue and mental weariness. It has been nearly 50 years. Decades of ridicule criticism and complaint and not one single thankyou or “well done”. No one (and I mean NO ONE) wanted any of it, much less my miniscule piece of the effort. The only guy with less thanks to show for it is Paul ! The forgoing typed material may be nearly indecipherable with typing, spelling , logical and grammatic errors. Too bad. I’m too tired to go back and fix it I might chicken out and erase it before embarrassing myself, so I’m just going to hit that “Submit” button it and see what happens next.

The best confirmation yet that Hillary intends to run again in 2024. The biggest reason the CGI went inactive in 2017 is that it could no longer attract contributors once it became obvious that there was no longer any possibility of any quid pro quo. Now, incredibly, HRC has been making the rounds again, and dusting off the CGI gives all those “supporters” somewhere to send their money (on a wing and a prayer)

I can’t imagine that going well. Elections are “fixable” when they’re close. This time, it wouldn’t be even remotely close.
