The René Magritte, Youth 1924, is very cool.

The 500,000 dead is pure fiction. Just go back another 10 years to 1991.
The butchery goes well above 1,000,000; well above!
Dare to go back to post WWII and the numbers since just beggar the mind; 5 million? 10 million? how about 20 million? And that’s after WWII! Is that even enough?
Just what is it that gives any country the freedom to do that; with no retribution, what-so-ever?
The world is complicit; every man jack one of them/us!
Will this global disaster continue to continue with no accounting?
Where the fuck is kharma in all this…
Human’s are a sick lot and a reckoning must come.

    VA,

A simple indicator of the value of a human life. And what do such lives really contribute to the riches of the west? Even less than the vast majority of westerners themselves, who are next in line to have their existence devalued.

Did you find the human branch on the tree of life?

Nuremberg settled that initiating war had in itself all the other crimes of war. Therefore, every death occurring after the U.S. becomes involved — disease, hunger, medical — is arguably added to this death toll. They exclude our own soldiers medivac to Germany, as well as VOA and opioid abuse following. They exclude critical support, such as in Yemen, exclude boycotts and financial punishment, like Iraq and Iran, exclude Sudan, Niger, Somalia, Egypt, Ukraine, and they certainly exclude ISIS deaths in Syria, which we created and paid for continuously, in conjunction with Israel, S.A., and the U.K. 6 Million easy since 1989. No one cares. Couldn’t care less. They’re more upset about it costing, and as we see in the budget the answer is, as always, Moar War. 5% more by year, just to “keep up.” Uh-huh. And we would “lose a war with China or Russia.” Hey, dummy, that’s been true since 1955, but what do you think they’re going to do, occupy us? Or us, them? Don’t attack them, and they won’t nuke us, and we can all save 90% of the budget by staying home. Nothing new has happened except they have the world’s worst hardware and couldn’t win a war against East Philadelphia.

“The CIA has determined that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered the assassination…”
Really? The CIA who didn’t know the Soviet Union was falling tomorrow, believed in the Domino theory, thought that Castro would fall, and said, “We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false”? The one who said Russia hacked the election? That CIA? The “high confidence” is a running joke, meaning “we have no presentable evidence whatsoever,” as ex-CIA people such as Bill Binney will be happy to tell you.

Not saying he didn’t do it or that they’re not right, but everything about this makes no sense. –More sense than the crazy, illogical ramblings of the Skripal case, but still no sense. SO why is Turkey drip-dripping? Why does the story change every day? If Turkey is a hard core rival to S.A., why wouldn’t they frame MBS? Why will no one suggest this? If Turkey has an audio, which they will never release, how come everyone has heard it? If it’s an audio, what makes you think it’s not an actor or a different execution? Why would you lure a high-profile journalist to your embassy, on camera, with a team of 20, on camera, and kill him in the most egregious way humankind can fabricate, while his fiance’ is waiting outside? Doesn’t’ that seem…odd?

Nope. Not odd. Perfectly logical. Like Assad, we always do the terrible thing that would get us invaded and assassinated by world opinion just as we’re taking control of our country and winning, and always when our opponents are allies of the CIA. Because that’s logic! …But really, why wouldn’t we and Turkey have staged this and framed MBS in a way he can’t understand yet, in order to control him, the toxic middle east, and also shut down Yemen without breaking things?

What is this nonsense of Global Warming? Aside from the warming — let’s just presume that — Russia and Canada are the worst offenders? With 170M people between them? And India and China, which either have signed to do nothing, or will lie and do nothing (no slight to them, it would hurt them badly and probably kill thousands) are merely equal with 4,000 Million between them? It should say Russi-Canarka is worth 1/20th, or .25 degrees, with China at +5 degrees, Or rather, since their 5c is not in Russia, should be 11 degrees in China and .25c in Russia and Canada. As Shakespeare would say, “What fresh hell is this?” or “First we kill all the lawyers,” either way.

Without humans, would other species become extinct?

“Over 1.5 million living animal species have been described—of which around 1 million are insects—but it has been estimated there are over 7 million animal species in total. …. forming intricate food webs. ….”

    https://gizmodo.com/bizarre-microbes-represent-a-major-new-branch-on-the-ev-1830496441

“This discovery literally redraws our branch of the ‘Tree of Life’ at one of its deepest points,” explained Alastair Simpson, the lead author of the study and biology professor at Dalhousie, in a statement. “It opens a new door to understanding the evolution of complex cells—and their ancient origins—back well before animals and plants emerged on Earth.”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal

Animals are multicellular eukaryotic organisms that form the biological kingdom Animalia. With few exceptions, animals consume organic material, breathe oxygen, are able to move, reproduce sexually, and grow from a hollow sphere of cells, the blastula, during embryonic development. Over 1.5 million living animal species have been described—of which around 1 million are insects—but it has been estimated there are over 7 million animal species in total. Animals range in length from 8.5 millionths of a metre to 33.6 metres (110 ft) and have complex interactions with each other and their environments, forming intricate food webs. The study of animals is called zoology.

Indeed. It allows mass murder to be seen as insignificant…

Dr D has added the relevant details of deaths always excluded.
    That is the source for my;

And that’s after WWII! Is that even enough?

This is now at the point where words utterly fail…
