Ignoring THE ROOT CAUSE while addressing the effects of THE ROOT CAUSE is akin to obsessing over the chair layout on the USS Titanic.
Yet, THE ROOT CAUSE, as simple as it is, is persona non grata on this website and almost all others.
Anyone who considers themselves as a modern day liberal (who support using guns and jail cells to force others to do what makes them feel good inside) who doesn’t address THE ROOT CAUSE of the majority of world poverty in the first instance has been deceived… mostly by themselves via the mental virus that George Orwell called “crimestop.”crimestop – Orwell’s definition: “The faculty of stopping short, as though by instinct, at the threshold of any dangerous thought. It includes the power of not grasping analogies, of failing to perceive logical errors, of misunderstanding the simplest arguments if they are inimical to Ingsoc, and of being bored or repelled by any train of thought which is capable of leading in a heretical direction. Monolithic “liberals” DO NOT exist. Individuals exist. Far too many of those individuals have fallen for the Debt-Money Monopolist “fascist in liberal clothing” mind programming, but not all. There are people who consider themselves modern day (Debt-Money Monopolist financed redefinition of the word) “liberal” who don’t support the the gun and the jail cell for all who dissent to their demands.
Then there are classical (pre Debt-Money Monopolist financed redefinition of liberal) liberals who promote liberation of the mind and individuality as free from force, fraud, and coercion as possible.
So every liberal, even modern day liberals, are not fascist in their orientation. But a whole bunch have been duped into being useful idiots for the Debt-Money Monopolist fascist system that only hurts ordinary people under the guise that the operatives they finance and promote into “power” (to do the bidding of their paymasters… go rogue get JFKed…) are simply “stupid.”

On a rather chilly Melbourne November day (maximum 18C minimum 10C), I can only laugh. The credibility of Australia’s temperature data was lost some years ago.

By putting new weather stations in places where people never lived 50 years ago and by replacing old stations with electronic stations at locations convenient to electricians (i.e. car parks and buildings) and working out new homogenised averages, they were able to manufacture a temperature increase.

In Australia, the divergence between IPCC “projections” and reality are such that a big change in the planning system for New South Wales has just taken place. The previous, Labor, administration adhered to the IPCC consensus as regards sea-level rise. The new administration is being more realistic and is using real data.

Essentially, property insurance would have been much more expensive for some of the most expensive property in Australia – along the coast. The property owners forced their state government to take reality into account.
Here is the reality regarding the rise in sea level for Australia’s oldest stations:

The records show that the sea-levels were rising (or the land falling) at a higher rate prior to WW2 than they seem to be doing at present.
