And the few who slip through are definitely NOT on the national news networks, Sunday afternoons, or comedy late-night shows. Shows what kind of Hitler he is that the first thing he did was stop people from publicly criticizing him, arrested the opposition, shut down the resistance, and fired all the Obama judges. Oh wait, that was only on the fantasy planet CNN reports from.
…Speaking of which, since Roberts seems to think there’s no difference between Obama judges, then he won’t mind if he fires them all and replaces them with Trump judges, will he? Because they’re all the same and judicial appointments mean nothing, and all rulings are made in a philosophical vacuum, but especially in the 9th circuit court in which 79% of rulings are overturned. Because that’s just good judging and not activism at all!

May is still picking which punishment she wishes to cripple the British people with — you know, beyond killing them all with austerity and ruining the national health while expelling Britons back to nations they haven’t lived in in 50 years…that punishment was a given even back in her Interior Secretary days. We mean EXTRA punishment, like becoming a de-facto fief and servant of Europe, with all the bills and rules, but no voting rights whatsoever, African-colony style. And/or an economic crisis by which to roll in fascism beyond the IngSoc fascism they already enjoy so much. And everyone else steps away, and claps the hand as they go by, doing nothing. The obvious was all along: you leave Europe in the lurch by telling them you’re already divorced, THEN let Brussels sue impotently to get some assets back. It’s not worse than now, but the negotiating power is on your side. Additionally, note that even the VOTE was supposed to crash and ruin England, and now the no-vote will crash England, and leaving will crash England, and staying on bad terms will crash England. …Wrong on all counts, at least so far as it’s been tested, because governments and rules are a tiny slice, ignored and averted as much as possible by the REAL, i.e., not legal, planet who just wants to go to work and get things done. Despite everything 20 nations of lawyers can do to stop them. Yes, it will be disruptive, and no less than now, and life will go on for literally everyone, just as it did when East Germany unified, or the USSR fell, or Mexico defaulted, or a Clinton war broke out in Europe, or the NASDAQ collapsed, or….take you pick. How much changed? Human society is not amenable to change. It evolves, slowly., even when hyperengineered with trillions of dollars of social pressure and thoughtcrime.
I was going to add, China learned all their social credit tricks from us, as is being floated by the UN, State Debt, and Google even now, but Raul beat me to it. This is why they are so desperate to have over-priced, under-safe, illogical, anti-engineering, nobody-wants-them, self-driving cars. To stop free motion and free assembly, now that they’ve shut off a huge field of free speech and redress of grievances. IngSoc forever! Peace is War!
Of course, those rules are only for us, not for them. Wouldn’t it be nice to tell Congress you don’t feel like responding to their subpoena? Certainly I would like that power, think of the places I could go! The things I could do (and get away with). You would say, as the Scrivener: Me? Obey the courts and the law? “I would prefer not to.” So, if we’re lucky and ask really, really nicely, Mr. Comey *MIGHT* fit us into his schedule, but only as a favor and only on his terms. Which makes you wonder, since he doesn’t obey Congress or their legal system, and apparently doesn’t obey the Executive branch, who’s he really work for? Who does he report to? Or rather, who has the power to run this level of interference for him and hold back Congress and Trump combined? Wouldn’t that really be the guy you’d like to meet? The guy who can do that? I know I sure would, with a camera crew and mic.
PS, the thing about Public Hearings is because Trump’s executive told him to pound salt, we’re refusing a 8 week-old executive order to declassify, “we don’t work for you.” Really? So who does this layer of the Justice Department work for? The same guy as Comey? I know I tell my boss all the time “Go f*** yourself, I ain’t making these tacos for you!” And he likes that a lot and doesn’t fire me at all. Really. But without the declass, Congress cannot question Comey about anything interesting, because Comey’s pal won’t allow those subjects and events into the public record. While if they have Comey in private, like investigations NORMALLY happen to guys like you and me, they can ask him–or his lawyer, actually–the questions actual, non-TV, non-WWF, non-show questions investigators really ask.
I’m quite assuming that Hillary is not a joke, that this is real, and therefore she is saying, “America Must Curb Immigration To Stop Rightwing Populists.” So she and Trump are in total agreement, right? I mean, if immigration has gone too far and that brings in Hitler, then surely we must slow down or stop, and the only way to do that is to *HAVE* a border, with border guards, rules, and entry stations. Since they are de facto policemen, and because this is an area of massive paramilitary drug cartels and because you cannot secure them any other way, certainly those border guards must have guns. And if those border entry fellows have guns, they wouldn’t be much good unless they could fire them at something, would they? So you have, in order, a) Reduced Immigration using, b) Borders, being c) a Wall and border station, with d) Rules enforced by e) more Armed Men, who are f) Authorized to apprehend lawbreakers defend themselves and/or the border including by the use of lethal force.
I think she just outlined Donald Trump’s plans for him, line by line. Maybe she actually IS the President! Who could tell?

Rather boring in the end…VA, that’s why we brought you Trump. Imagine how dull it would be without him. No more CNN and New York Times, propped up financially by the Trump phenomenon. No scandals, no Russiagate, no contested border patrols, no Tweets that everyone can retweet to everyone else, together with insulting comments, to demonstrate their moral superiority.
I’m going to make a list of all the social problems and economic problems that have been caused by the socialists, the poor, the powerless, the disenfranchised, the immigrants, the slaves, the non-elites.
1. Getting scamed by the powerfull
2. Getting scamed by the rich
3. Getting scamed by the elites.
Now, you make the list of social/economic problems that have been caused by the rich and powerful.
China is a mirror held up to the West so that both societies may see what travesties they have become. Both exhibit similar if not identical pathologies.
We can only guess at how much more of this the biosphere can cope with.
The non-elite dying younger because of classic economics caused the election of Donald Trump and Brexit. It also elevated Vladimir Putin to President of the Russian Federation. How marvelous things are today with everyone having a smart phone is the Great Lie. When the sickness is obvious to all, neoliberalism will be overthrown. The only question is can order come out of the economic chaos with climate change and thousands of operational nuclear weapons also in play. Either of which can make the earth uninhabitable for humans.

VA, that’s why we brought you Trump. Imagine how dull it would be without him.Well, that is one point of view; I’d prefer a bit more kindness/compassion.
But, I suppose that’s a bit unrealistic, given our history…
