Yes, as n American, I was shocked to discover we barely fought in WWII. And even more that all Europe and the West combined was no better. Russia was 2/3rd the war, our ally, and what’s more, everybody knew it at the time. And what it cost.

Starting 1945, our textbooks, all teachers, everyone’s memories, all wiped, all gone, told every one of us a totally different story. Lockstep, from then to now. Boomers.

So now I more or less point out Russia fought the whole war by themselves, every chance I get. And I point out that the war was against SLAVS, not some other people you might hear about who are barely a rounding error.

I have never been told the truth once since I was born that I remember. Kind of like to give a guy a neurosis or something. So HOW do you expect anyone here to know? And being so, how do you expect them to do the next, far more subtle thing? The victims are the perpetrators, as usual.

The only proven method.
Most human beings cannot bear the isolation that results.
When your parents have proven that they have poor judgement, when you are five, and you discern their’s is better than that of your neighbor’s parents, learning asocial survival skills is a must. You will be social flotsam and jetsam.
The intriguing part is how large a segment of society are dumpster divers when in need.
Those are the moments when discipleship of Jesus is tested and proved true at the same instant.

The picture of “The Napalm Girl” should have burned morality into the lives of the boomers, it did not. We did not want to know. We still do not want to know.

The sentence i have heard most over the last ten years is : “I don’t want to know.”
The key to freedom -“The truth will set you free” – Welding the slaves shackles closed – “I don’t want to know.”

Doctrine, dogma and ritual are the fertile soil of hatred, the most powerful societal poison.

Ratio does not not diminish the bravery and valor of boys at Normandy beach and thereafter. That’s the beside the point. But, one should not treat an ally as a commodity to be discarded when not needed any more, let alone plot against before war was even over. Why that sounds so familiar – treating people as a commodity, that is?
