my old cat Simba’s got early kidney issues, and the vet says more water intake is key. He ignores his bowl but loves lapping at dripping faucets. Last night, he camped out by the bathroom sink! Can you suggest a pet water fountain that’s safe, quiet, and encourages him to drink more? Bonus if it’s easy to maintain!

Oh man, Simba sounds like my senior kitty, Busi. She also ignored her bowl but would sit in the tub waiting for me to run the faucet (adorable but not sustainable at 2am). I ended up getting a fountain from automatic pet water fountain , and it’s been such a win—super quiet, easy to clean, and the flowing water totally hooked her. Now she drinks way more without the nightly sink stakeouts. It might be just what Simba needs to keep those kidneys happy! Oh man, Simba sounds like my senior kitty, Busi.
