Good find Ilargi.
However; we’re so far past the time when that speech would or could be given.
The one who wrote that still had some sense of reality, both past and present; still maintained rational thinking, with critical thinking skills intact.
In other words, the ability to rationally see where we’ve been and where we’re heading. That one understands the trap of idealogical thinking and policies.
I see no such one in today’s western/NATO, countries.
Putin, Lavrov, and Xi seem the pre-eminant statesmen of today’s multi-polar world.
The infant in the sandbox, is isolated and impotent; that infant with all its temper tantrums, could, and may, attempt to destroy a non-compliant world; because it can.
That infant has lost all semblance of self reflection and thus knowledge…
