    The daily fuckup:

‘Seriously shocking failure’: NHS Covid vaccine booking site under review after leaking sensitive medical data, reports say

Using their NHS number or by verifying their identity, vaccine-eligible users can book appointments for their Covid jab. However, it turned out there is currently no safeguard built into the site to protect against a person’s confidential vaccination status being disclosed to anyone with basic personal information about them.

“This means that bosses, for example, can potentially keep tabs on whether, and which of, their employees had been vaccinated using just their names, dates of birth, and postcodes.

“And then you get back to asking what the logic is behind injecting perfectly healthy people, children even for g-d’s sake, with an untested chemical substance. Shouldn’t we leave healthy people alone? Oh, but they can’t prove they’re healthy…”

Raul provides here a schematic for effective dialog with folks concerning kovid and das vaksine: ‘Oh, but they can’t prove they’re healthy…’

When I think of how dramatically my world view has been reshaped, even in just the past 10 years, I marvel. And there were periods where it was necessary to pace myself so as to not overload the psychic mechanism. I certainly understand how necessary denial is for those who are not ready to face reality head on. To suddenly realize that the world is not what you thought it was can be overwhelming to all but the strongest and most resilient.

Our imagination would have us believe that if taken aboard an alien craft for a quick tour of the solar system, we would immediately run home to start writing the next UFO best-seller. The reality, however, would be shock, inability to function, followed by years of psychic adjustment with mental, emotional, and relationship problems. “In that case, I’ll take ‘Denial and Projection’ for $500, Alex.” “It’s the DAILY DOUBLE!!”

Someone recently asked why I put so much effort into understanding what’s going on in the world, when there’s nothing I can really do about it anyway? Why not just do what makes you happy and ignore the rest? After thinking about it for a couple minutes, it came down to personal sovereignty and responsibility. I didn’t want to be anyone’s pawn, patsy, or cannon fodder. It’s MY job and MY responsibility to manage my own life and not pass this off to some other authority. And in order to do this effectively one must be informed and not an ignoramus. And to truly be informed one must dethrone the ego for truth. “Good trade!”, says ‘Wind in his Hair’.

Ilargi is right. We are seeing profound, world-changing events occurring right under our noses. We should take them seriously. With all of the insanity and lies flying about, hardly anything seems off-the-table anymore. Or has it always been this way and I am just now starting to notice?

As I’ve said on several occasions here, my pandemic “redpilling” was when we were supposed to just ignore the fact that Ivermectin could help so many people who are seriously ill and possibly dying. Talking about “WTF” in big, flashing, red letters!

    @ Maxwell Qwest

“Someone recently asked why I put so much effort into understanding what’s going on in the world, when there’s nothing I can really do about it anyway? Why not just do what makes you happy and ignore the rest? ”

We are conditioned to do the right thing only if there’s money in it or it at least won’t cost a significant amount. The concept of doing the right thing because it’s the right thing ro do… that’s for Hollywood heroes, not real people, we’re taught.

“And to truly be informed one must dethrone the ego for truth. “Good trade!”, says ‘Wind in his Hair’.”

I deem that my favorite sentence of the day. Bof ’em.

I also deem this my favorite Raul article.

Meanwhile, now that Trump Derangement Syndrome has abated, we can again enjoy laughing at having a crazy creep in charge for awhile. I adored Trump as entertainment:

Biometrics monitored daily…reminds me of the monitoring of the clones on the film The Island.

Saw an ad on YouTube today, just before my exercise vid: some device you breathe into, analyzes breath content to determine if you’re burning fat or carbohydrates, info used to generate custom advice. I can see the usefulness as a dieting aid…sure, if the data were completely private, any aggregates completely anonymized…but I know that won’t be the case.

Just like I realized a few years back that home WiFi mesh devices are controlled from the web, by the manufacturer, and not directly by the person who installs them at home. (Which is why for myself and for residential clients I have installed business class WiFi mesh devices that are still user controlled from inside the network.)

John Day- I just read Tessa’s “touch” post. Man, that lady can write!

Madamski- my brother (died 2002) was a local pot seller. He was a poor businessman but he had a slogan: “No sticks, no seeds!” He saw his part time job as a mission- so many people did so much better when they had a little weed. His “profits” were just that he had some to smoke, as well. He loved “Thai sticks”. The local cops obviously knew about him, but they left him alone. He was a very sweet man, and I miss him.

WES- a little late in response, but what is the logic of prohibiting boating?

I don’t know about “Grandest”…maybe “Most Ruthless”, “Most Audacious”, Most Monstrous” or perhaps “Most Life-threatening”.
When medical- and mind- care become the subject of government “helping!”, really, really, really bad things happen.

I have watched little kids struggling with something and my heart breaks when a parent interferes to “help”. The heartwarming response of the sane child is “I wanna do it!”

Hey, bullyboys: leave me alone! I wanna do it!

—The official Twitter account for the Auschwitz Memorial also weighed in, arguing that repurposing the badges to lobby against vaccines is a “sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline.”—

*sigh* As someone who identified with the Socrates quote “the unexamined life is not worth living” as a young teen…I struggle to understand why so much of humanity fails to think…
How many times have folks wondered how it is that the Germans under Hitler allowed the situation to get so bad? What we are seeing is the reason why. The folks who see the danger signs are trying to communicate to all that this is dangerous territory…and the masses are offended by the communication.

For some reason, a bunch of the latest images posted are not showing up, I can only see the alt text line. Also, Germ, the must see video you posted in today’s earlier post has been removed by some entity or another –did not get a chance to watch it unfortunately.

Someone earlier asked who the bicycle frame builder was that came up with ATMO — According To My Opinion. That would be Richard Sachs, of Connecticut. I no longer ride bicycles that can only take very skinny tires–although he does make cyclocross bikes, his main thing is racing bicycles. I believe there is a multi-year wait to get one of his frames. I never met him, but one of my good friends and old racing buddies chatted him up a few times not long ago at races on the local cyclocross circuit. Quite a character.

My absolute galore handle had madamski thinking I was female. I think she may have been thinking more this. It is fairly straightforward in how I chose it, to describe the complete and utter abundance of stuff, things we are surrounded by.in most of the Western world as that phrase is understood. But I like the absoluteness of absolute, and the bargain basement goriness of galore. So there ya go.

Bill, you’re welcome. I did mention that specifically for you. I like Cayley’s writing and I am looking forward to a whole nuther dimension of Illich with his new book.

Got two tubes of my apple flavored equine Ivermectin, 6.08 grams a piece, so 12 doses for moi. Thank you, Tractor Supply! They also had big containers of Ivermectin to apply topically to cows, and a few different brands of the paste, some of which had other medications mixed in. For a second I was confused by one of the warnings on the back: Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.” Huh? I thought it was for horses, not humans…then I remembered: panda eats shoots and leaves. Ew.

I’m actually liking the idea of having a stash of horse medicine rather than illicitly gotten human pills from India. It has a bit more of the survivalism vibe to it, catch-as-catch-can. With summer coming, I don’t plan to take it prophylactically unless we get a rash of cases locally, but I now feel better, at least in terms of actions to protect my health, if not dealing with the social and potential employment ramifications. (Saw a news brief where the owner of the Buffalo Bills NFL football team said he would consider cutting players who are not vaccinated.)

    Well, just talked to the best friend from the high school daze on Facebook and found out that he’s a Covid long-hauler. (Reduced ability to taste food, still having trouble breathing, but nothing terribly dire.) He got the Moderna jab because he’s afraid of getting it again. I don’t blame him for that at all, even if I have doubts that his decision was based on good information. Since he already went through with it, the only thing I said was that I wish they could just give him Ivermectin (which I’m sure he expected me to say because I’ve been on that “kick” in both conversations with him and in periodic Facebook posts). But I find myself sadder and more worried than I was an hour ago. 🙁 I told him I wasn’t getting the jab, so perhaps he feels the same way about me. {/shrug}

A commenter in the previous thread for today remarked “What a world.” Yep.

And how about medical insurance? And life insurance?
On the Bloom editorial upon which ticker guy opines, I just wanna say that going to a doctor who dresses as if they were terrified of illness does not impart confidence. I would also point out that the obvious next step would be to say they will not treat anyone who has not been vaccinated.

The Grandest Human Experiment In History
In 1947, a world disgusted by Joseph Mengele’s medical experiments on German prisoners said: never again. Yes, sounds familiar.

I think it’s important to remember that much of what Germany did via Mengeles was based upon the U.S. experiments in the late 18th and early 19th century on Blacks and the mentally damaged in the name of medicine.
The Grandest Human Experiment In History? Maybe in terms of sheer numbers, but not, IMO, in terms of cruelty…

Regarding the absolute risk reduction of the mRNA injections, and the resulting number of people that need to be vaccinated for one person to get some benefit, this was published in the British Medical Journal BMJ last year (from a retired pediatrician):

Moderna vaccine is nearly 95% effective, but…

There were 90 cases of Covid-19 illness in a placebo group of 15,000 (0.006) and 5 cases in a vaccine group of 15,000 (0.00033). This yields an absolute risk reduction of 0.00567 and NNTV = 176 (1/0.00567). There were 11 severe illnesses, all in the placebo group, for an absolute risk reduction of 0.00073 and NNTV = 1370. So to prevent one severe illness 1370 individuals must be vaccinated. The other 1369 individuals are not saved from a severe illness, but are subject to vaccine adverse effects, whatever they may be and whenever we learn about them.

How does this compare with other vaccines? Before the measles vaccine became available 90% of children in North America had measles by age 10. Two doses of the vaccine are about 95% effective, so a vaccinated individual’s risk is reduced by 0.855 (0.90 x 0.95), and the NNTV = 1.17 (1/0.855); this is extraordinarily effective.

    https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4471/rr-0

    SUMMARY

    Moderna mRNA injection:
To prevent one case of Covid, 176 people need to be injected (twice).
To prevent one severe case of Covid illness, 1370 people need to be injected (twice).

    Measles vaccine:
To prevent one case of measles, one child needs to be vaccinated.

For Mister Roboto and anyone else who knows someone with Covid longhauler syndrome.
The FLCCC has been doing video updates. A recent one featured Dr. Ram Yogendra, a doctor in Rhode Island that has started a practice focused on treating patients suffering from Long Haul Covid. They have a website where patients can register, arrange to get lab tests and received personalized medication based on their symptoms and lab test results. Here is the link: https://covidlonghaulers.com/.

Big Pharma has been dreaming of a such a situation for a long time, and no doubt moved many chess pieces around to achieve it.

Right in the tradition of Mini Pharma, that is, traditionally, since many millenia, making a mint out of selling snake-oil remedies, for real and imaginary ills – ppl hope and pray and believe, and spend their saved, or even last pennies, on ineffective (but usually anodyne, no harm) medecines, treatments, donations, actions.

Medium Pharma in the ‘modern’ world (from say 1900 on) is another story – that takes infiltration into the medical field via ‘control’ (lobbying, corruption) of Gvmts / top authorities, despots, to set payoffs, standards, ways of doing, institutional rules; playing a big role in the organisation of Health Care, which besides ‘drugs’ / ‘medicines’ includes holding clinics, hospitals, and very important, medical equipment and machinery; laboratory analysis services; all of which generate tremendous profits. (Health insurance is left off, other issue.) Advisory and informational control (by the CDC, USA, for ex.) is a key element.

Big Pharma incorporates the scams of all the above. To their best advantage. Gvmts, such as that of Trump, or now Biden, Johnson, Macron, etc. (as ‘heads’, the structure below them corrupted and very weak) are sitting prey, as having been co-opted by large Corporations, who prefer puppets hoisted front stage to be ‘the’ targets, to taking on any public role themselves.

The easy out, the smooth excuse of ‘the vax’ to be ‘fix’ was, is, as we have seen, immediately, even frantically, adopted – in first place by USUK-isr. (Other places have high vax nos, like Bahrein, Seychelles, yes. But these 3 countries stand out.) If it all turns to sh**, Gvmts will blame poor info, lack of knowlege, “Nature” (variants, etc.), bad public behavior (non-compliance) with a straight face.

As for darker plots behind the scenes, no doubt they exist (imho) but what they are exactly is opaque, veiled, imho. (Meaning Idk what to say about it.)

    One pov….
