What is happening in Greece is really sad. I spent some of my childhood in Athens – and it was a pretty miserable place at that time (1964). They were still trying to get over the civil war and no one ever smiled in the streets. It looks like they have come full circle.
Are Greeks worried about possible deflation of their housing market? It seems if I have low income compared to how much it costs to buy a place and then that ratio suddenly changes in my favour I should be pretty happy. What am I missing?
