I’ve got plenty of empathy for real events but in this case I think cory is lying and is just trying to find another way to post here after saying he was done. Let “Ann” post a link to an obituary or something to prove me wrong. Unless I see some real proof otherwise I hold the view that this is a tasteless move to get back at somebody he blames for his choices.February 25, 2015 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Sucking Beer Out Of The Carpet: Nicole Foss At The Great Debate in Melbourne #19471caper

It is really good to see you posting here again and if I may say so you look great!caper
ParticipantI have to say I’m deeply saddened to read that Nicole is leaving Canada. It always made me feel a little better about the future knowing that she was making her stand here. Can’t say as I blame her for moving to Atamai though. Looks awesome their.
Cory, I’ve lost pretty big in monetary terms as well and have to admit I have days that I feel like a fool about my choices and the fact that I’ve encouaged others to follow my lead but something is going to give at some point and many people are going to suffer.
It is not much comfort but when that time comes I expect many of us will wish we could trade those problems for todays.Ilargi, thanks for all you do and a donation will be coming soon.

I get get your coming from but just don’t see it playing out like that anymore. The debts are just too large for governments to overcome, and any “printed” money does not get to the people who would spend it on goods and services.Ilargi, thanks for that. I am a “convert” thanks to Nicole and yourself. Hope your feeling better soon.

I’m far from an economist but where are the cheapened dollars going to come from? The demand for labor is headed down imo. Inflation and rising interest rates will set up the perfect storm for people already in debt to their eyeballs.
I don’t think the twentyfive percent quoted in the link are shrewd but deluded.

ParticipantHi Ilargi-
My first post here. Just wanted to thank you and Nicole for everything you do. It must be very difficult at times to continue. Just ordered the videos in the hopes of convincing a few people around me to at least consider that the next twenty years are going to be very different than the last twenty.
Any chance of Nicole coming to the maritime region of Canada in the future? There is still much social cohesion here in the rural areas and while I know it will not be a walk in the park, I think there is a least a shot at making some sort of future people can find peace with. -
