Trump Orders Feds To ‘Liberate Los Angeles’ (RT)

US President Donald Trump has directed top federal officials to take “all such action necessary” to end days of violent unrest in Los Angeles, ordering the deployment of National Guard troops and vowing to “liberate” the city from what he described as an “invasion” by criminal migrants. The president said he instructed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Attorney General Pam Bondi to coordinate with federal agencies to quell the unrest.“A once great American City, Los Angeles, haen invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Sunday. “Now violent, insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking our Federal Agents to try and stop our deportation operations — But these lawless riots only strengthen our resolve… Order will be restored, the Illegals will be expelled, and Los Angeles will be set free.”

Trump’s comments follow two days of clashes between protesters and federal immigration agents, prompting Trump to authorize the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops. Tensions peaked Sunday afternoon as hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles. Video footage showed National Guard troops facing off with protesters behind riot shields. Aone point tear gas was fired, but authorities have not confirmed which agency used force or what triggered the escalation.

Governor Gavin Newsom condemned the federal “takeover” of California’s National Guard as unconstitutional and politically motivated, formally demanding that President Trump withdraw the order and return control of the troops to the state. “We didn’t have a problem until Trump got involved,” he claimed on X. “This is a serious breach of state sovereignty – inflaming tensions while pulling resources from where they’re actually needed.” The unrest began Friday and intensified Saturday in the cities of Paramount and Compton, following multiple immigration raids in which over 100 people were arrested. Demonstrators attempted to block Border Patrol vehicles, and some threw rocks and debris at officers. Federal agents responded with tear gas, pepper balls and flash-bang grenades.

Homeland Security officials accused local politicians of failing to uphold public safety. “Instead of rioting, they should be thanking ICE officers every single day who wake up and make our communities safer,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. Critics say Trump’s move bypasses constitutional norms. Senator Bernie Sanders described the deployment as “a president moving this country rapidly into authoritarianism.” House Speaker Mike Johnson, by contrast, defended the order, blaming California’s Democratic leadership for the disorder.

While previous National Guard deployments in Los Angeles were initiated by state officials, this marks the first federal override since the 1960s civil rights era. It remains unclear how long the troops will remain in the city. Defense Secretary Hegseth warned that active-duty Marines could be deployed next if the violence continues. “Approximately 500 Marines from 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, California, are in a prepared to deploy status should they be necessary to augment and support the DoD’s protection of federal property and personnel efforts,” the US Northern Command announced in a statement on Sunday.

Trump Vows Resources Needed To Restore ‘Law And Order’ (JTN)

Anti-immigration enforcement rioters clashed Sunday with newly deployed National Guard troops in Los Angeles, setting a car on fire and blocking a major freeway as President Donald Trump vowed to send to Los Angeles whatever resources needed to quell the violence and restore order. “We’ll send whatever we need to make sure there’s law and order,” Trump told reporters before departing from New Jersey after a weekend trip. “Last night in Los Angeles we watched it very closely, there was a lot of violence there and it could have got much worse.” Asked whether the protests might spread, the president answered: “We’re going to be watching it very closely.”

Protests and rioting in Los Angeles against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents’ arrests of illegal aliens entered a third day Sunday, with hundreds flooding the 101 freeway in downtown Los Angeles and bringing traffic to a standstill. Police said in a post on X that California Highway Patrol officers are attempting to disperse the demonstrators off the southbound section of the freeway. LAPD also said cars had been set on fire in a historic neighborhood, causing authorities to declare an unlawful assembly.

“Demonstrators have halted vehicles on Los Angeles North of Arcadia St and ignited the vehicles,” LAPD said on X. “Our partners with LAFD are attempting to enter the area to extinguish the fire. This is a historic area of DTLA, Olvera St. An UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY has been issued for the entire area. Trump has blamed California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for failing to do more to stop the unrest, saying the inaction by Democrat leaders forced his hand in deploying troops. Trump said he told Newsom that “you’ve got to take care of it, otherwise I’m sending in the troops. And that’s what we did.”

“And once again, that someone was Donald Trump.”

Trump Had No Choice But to Step in and Stop the Riots (Margolis)

Los Angeles has been a hot mess for the past couple of days, absolutely embroiled in what we’re told are “peaceful protests” against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for doing their jobs. But let’s call them for what they really are: violent riots. We’ve all seen the reports, the photos, and the videos, and they’re not pretty. We’re talking about mobs attacking a federal detention facility, chucking rocks at agents just trying to do their jobs, blocking official vehicles, destroying property, and, yes, even setting cars on fire while proudly waving foreign flags. Yet, what was the response from local officials? A masterclass in failure, that’s what. Mayor Karen Bass’s first statement on Friday basically sounded like she was encouraging the bad actors. Then there’s the fact that when DHS reported their building was surrounded, it took the LAPD a pathetic two hours to show up.

Think about that: Two hours to respond to an assault on a federal building. But the absolute pièce de résistance came late Saturday from the Los Angeles Police Department. Get a load of this. The LAPD, with a straight face, issued a statement claiming, “Today, demonstrations across the city of Los Angeles remained peaceful, and we commend all those who exercised their First Amendment rights responsibly.” They actually thanked the participants and organizers for their “cooperation” in ensuring public safety and declared the protests concluded “without incident.” Are you kidding me? “Peaceful”? “Without incident”? While federal agents were being attacked and property was being torched? This isn’t just downplaying; it’s a deliberate denial of reality. It sounds less like a police statement and more like something you’d read from the rioters’ press office.

This is why President Donald Trump had to bring in the National Guard. Local leaders and law enforcement weren’t restoring law and order and so Trump had to step in. A decisive action was needed because local authorities dropped the ball. So, how did California’s esteemed Governor Gavin Newsom react? Did he say, “Thank you, Mr. President, for stepping in where we couldn’t”? Of course not. The problem wasn’t that Newsom couldn’t, it’s that he wouldn’t. So, he threw a complete tantrum, whining that bringing in the Guard would “erode trust.” As if trust wasn’t already eroded by the failure to stop the violence!

The LAPD wrapped it up by saying they remain committed to safeguarding Angelenos and will maintain a “heightened readiness posture.” “Heightened readiness” to ensure safety? Given their response so far, that rings completely hollow. It looks like pretending violent riots are peaceful is the LAPD’s new strategy. When local law enforcement refuses to see reality, let alone enforce the law, someone has to step up to restore order.

ActBlue At Heart Of Anti-ICE Protests In LA (JTN)

An advocacy group at the center of the organizing efforts of the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles has long raised money through ActBlue, the controversial Democratic Party-oriented non-profit entity that is under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and Congress. According to the social media pages of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), the group was formed in 1986 to “advance the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees.” Its mission is to “educate, organize, and advocate.” The landing page of CHIRLA’s website solicits donations through another entity, called Funraise. CHIRLA is nonetheless listed in ActBlue’s official directory, and ActBlue facilitates donations to CHIRLA.

The far-left, pro-immigrant charity’s latest IRS 990 filing for 2023 shows that CHIRLA had revenue of close to $45 million, and expenses of just over $20 million. Their tax filing does not disclose donors’ names, nor any specific amount that ActBlue channeled to CHIRLA. he charity’s IRS filings self-described their mission as to “promote harmonious multi-ethnic human relations.” Dozens have been arrested after violent clashes with ICE agents attempting to locate illegal immigrants. L.A.ist, a local magazine, published an Associated Press newsphoto of a masked man using a Mexican flag to assault police officers. “If yzu see ICE in LA, don’t stay silent. Report it to the LA Rapid Response Network,” read a post from CHIRLA on Sunday.

The three days of demonstrations saw more than 6,000 people take over the streets of downtown Los Angeles, and on Sunday the NBC-owned KNBC reported that at least 2,000 people are estimated to have taken over the 101 Freeway northbound, shutting it down and forcing traffic to come to a standstill. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that “violent mobs have attacked ICE Officers and Federal Law Enforcement Agents carrying out basic deportation operations in Los Angeles, California.” U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli posted Saturday on X that federal agents “arrested over a dozen agitators today who impeded agents in their ability to conduct law enforcement operations. We will continue to arrest anyone who interferes with federal law enforcement.” Trump signed a presidential memorandum on Saturday that deployed about 2,000 National Guard members to Los Angeles to handle the protests and guard federal buildings. The guardsmen are expected to stay in the area for up to 60 days.

The year 1965 was the last time that the National Guard was activated without a governor’s permission. According to the Brennan Center for Justice, President Lyndon B. Johnson ordered the troops to Alabama to protect a civil rights march. President Trump has ordered the Department of Justice to investigate ActBlue. The signed memorandum directs Attorney General Pam Bondi “to investigate and take appropriate action concerning allegations regarding the use of online fundraising platforms to make ‘straw’ or ‘dummy’ contributions and to make foreign contributions to U.S. political candidates and committees, all of which break the law,” according to a White House press release.

According to InfluenceWatch.com, divisions of ActBlue have facilitated donations to the Center for American Progress Action Fund, The Democratic Socialists of America, and MoveOn.org, as well as operated as a fundraising platform for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. The House Judiciary Committee, the Committee on House Administration and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform are currently investigating ActBlue. The lawmakers issued an interim report in April titled “Fraud on ActBlue: How the Democrats’ Top Fundraising Platform Opens the Door for Illegal Election Contributions.”

The interim report called the preliminary findings “troublesome” and noted that “internal documents produced to the Committees by ActBlue and its fraud-prevention contractor, Sift, demonstrate a lack of commitment to stopping fraud and paint a picture of complacency on ActBlue’s fraud-prevention team. Put simply, the documents reflect a fundamentally unserious approach to fraud prevention at ActBlue—one that has left the door open for large-scale fraud campaigns on Democrats’ top fundraising platform.” “ActBlue’s internal turmoil, lack of a functioning legal team, possible retaliatory actions, and failure to take fraud seriously raise new questions about the platform’s ability to deter fraud and comply with federal election law,” read a joint news release from the committees.

Musk’s Father Urges Him To Admit Defeat (RT)

Errol Musk has said that his son, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, will end up losing in his conflict with US President Donald Trump, who has the overwhelming support of the American people. The clash between the two former allies over Trump’s “Big and Beautiful” tax and spending bill escalated into a series of jabs on social media on Thursday. Musk, who stepped down as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) last week, accused the president of “ingratitude,” supported the idea of impeaching him and threatened to paralyze the US space program by decommissioning the Dragon spacecraft. Trump, for his part, said that the tech billionaire had gone “crazy” and claimed that Musk was actually upset because he “took away his EV Mandate.”

Errol Musk told Al Arabiya on Friday that in the conflict with his son, “Trump, of course, will prevail because he has been voted in by the majority of the people in America. I have just been three weeks in America – the people are, I would like to say, 80%, but actually 100% behind Trump.”The elder Musk said that after the rift broke out, he sent a message to Elon “telling him to make sure this fizzles out now.” “What has happened is, you know, the alphas have sort of… cleared the opposition and like most animals, elephants… lions and so forth, and humans, are now looking to take on each other. It seems a bit silly to me,” Errol Musk said.

Both Trump and Elon Musk “have been through a great deal of stress…You can expect this kind of thing, you know, when you are the focus of attention day and night. Eventually, people reach a point where they lash out… I think there is a bit of tiredness here,” he said, explaining the spat.If his son is able to end the conflict swiftly, it will be just “a bump in the road” in his relationship with the president, the 79-year-old said. When asked if there is a chance that Trump and Musk will be friends again, he replied: “Yes, of course. Yes, of course.”

perhaps the reason we have such bad leaders

RFK says he’s going to replace ACIP pro-pharma experts. It sounds encouraging. One can but hope he can find people who are not corrupted. Do they still exist?!
The following shows what RFK is up against. Walking on eggshells. Mandy Cohen, still spouting BS from mountain tops when she should be, along with plenty of others, behind bars for the rest of her natural life.

    Courtesy of RT:

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has dismissed all the members of a key advisory panel that has helped shape national vaccination policy for decades. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Monday that the move was necessary to reestablish public trust and address longstanding concerns over conflicts of interest.

“The problem isn’t necessarily that ACIP members are corrupt. Most likely aim to serve the public interest as they understand it,” Kennedy wrote. “The problem is their immersion in a system of industry-aligned incentives and paradigms that enforce a narrow pro-industry orthodoxy.”

Mandy Cohen, who served as the CDC director under Biden, told NBC News the move “spreads confusion and casts doubt on transparent public health processes that protect Americans.” Richard Besser, who was acting CDC director under Barack Obama, said it “should erase any remaining doubt that he intends to impose his personal anti-vaccine agenda on the American people.
