Did you ever notice that the whenever there’s some big announcement that the End Of The World As We Know It is going to be tomorrow afternoon that so many people rush out to buy extra toilet paper?

Their attention apparently focused on the potential inconvenience and discomfort of not being able to wipe their butt after they pooped, instead of the food that they would need in order to make poop in the first place (and thus need to clean up afterwards.)

If you don’t have food you won’t need toilet paper.

Three days food and water in the pantry, and six months supply of toilet paper in the bathroom closet.

    Silly rabbit.

It tells you something way too seriously profound about the ability of the “average” human being to think. We humans (absolutely all of us, with no exceptions) are really really stupid.

I mean REALLY stupid. Even the “best and brightest” of us can’t do practically anything for ourselves, except maybe choose what we think is best for ourselves.

We could not pry a rock out of the mud with a stick unless someone gave us the stick, and the rock and the mud in the first place so that we would have something to shove around and play with. We could not make so much as a molecule of any one of those things if it were left up to us! Not one atom! We can only choose which ones to use to get what we want.

“Ukraine Liberates MASSIVE Amount Of Territory From Russia in UNBELIEVABLE Victory
    The Military Show•223K•4h ago

Laughable. Provably untrue. Why do I post it? A: Showing you can find anything you want on the Internet. Even Iranian victory marches. That doesn’t make it true. Now it’s interesting, because we all KNOW not everything posted is true. But yet WHICH do we pick and to forward as credible, even for consideration, over the other, similar ones? That’s the question and that’s also the Overton Window. We THINK Iran has unlimited missiles and hasn’t suffered a single strike is reasonable. But why? Not sure. That answer is quite complicated but worth looking into this week.

Every expert was dead-wrong I shouted for 45 days. And it wasn’t about the war! It’s about that their arguments were idiotic and their evidence non-existent. Same as Covid, btw.

Like Iran, I also believe Covid was a real thing that did indeed kill people. But not as many as presented. Same here, and it was even EASIER to see, while the propaganda worked far, far better anyway. It was like the less reason there was, the more people leaned into it. Not sure. Why was this so incredibly easy to see? A: No data. The side with no data, no details, is lying. That’s about it, that’s about the level of my genius here. They said “Kuwait, radar, Israel, 3 jets, all flattened.” I said, “Great, how about the Iranian side?” Crickets. That’s it, that’s all it took to know they were lying, and which way the war went.

“Jaifada” 10M Iranians. Who are they planning to fight? And with what?

Yes, the Iranians are formidable and great fighters. Good on them, wish Europe or Canada would follow suit. All violence or preparation or spending for violence is bad unless Iran does it. Then it’s good. People “Said things about winning.” Yes, people say a lot of things when they’re trying to sell some s—t. No one believes them. We refer to what is actually possible and likely instead.

“Kuwait Holds American Journalist After Reporting On ‘Friendly Fire’ Shootdown Incident

Not all places are America. I’m not saying he didn’t know that, he probably did. But America is Hitler, that’s why you can say whatever you feel like and buy as many guns as you want here. Like Hitler. Or perhaps we are somewhat LESS authoritarian and fascist than most of the world.

“Young men in the United States have become more religious than young women for the first time in 25 years…”

Very interesting. It seemed women previously took order from Church and dragged men to help them behave themselves. Wonder what that is. I expect 80% of women ARE religious. They are Woke Disney-Amazon religion and so don’t need another. All their order comes from there and don’t need conflicts. Since the same Disney-Amazon spares no billion dollars to tell men they are scum who should all be killed, naturally they are not as attuned to this religion of hatred and death.

“”F**k It…Just Do It”: Carville Lays Out Democratic Plan To Add States And Pack The Court To Retain Power

They also are not attuned to this religion, of scrapping even the remaining pretense of Democracy, and with it, “America” which has many attributes of a religion here. This goes with many such things, we don’t go AWAY from something, you have to attract people TO something. What dream are you asking them to build? No voice in society at all and live in the Pod? This was the problem they have with Soros kids headlining while they have no M4A vote. All billionaires (formerly Musk, replace with token democrat here) with nothing for working “kids” who are now 40.

However far away, the MAGA is “You’ll have a job and afford a house.” Which is actually attainable. Whenever you say “You’ll do hard work” instead of the opposite you’re on the right track.

“President Trump is about to begin declassifying documents at lightning speed in an operation he is calling “Hypersonic Clarity.”

Timing for the midterm, as expected. And he thought he could get Iran mostly wound down by then, too. Which none of us saw how, not having inside Intel, only that that must have been his expectation.

He needs to do arrests right before, so the judges can’t summarily dismiss them, as we have Judges doing…well, any and everything. They are Presidents, generals, negotiators, they run Tesla and re-write contract law, and practice medicine as well. They are all branches of government, including declaring themselves the Supreme Court over and over. Anyway, “Guilt” “Innocence”, “Law” have zero hold or interest for them. They’ll just dismiss everyone as a professional courtesy. Government never, ever, ever, ever convicts itself.

However in our system WE are the government. So declassifying sets what We the People will put up with and approve of. It is indeed sad not to hang every Fauci multiple times, however it’s superior to have the country restored on a legal foundation, even if that means he is merely discredited.

If we’re going back to Hillary’s home server, let’s repeat the point: it wasn’t THAT it was unsecured and at home; it’s that it being unsecured and at home was the PURPOSE. She would post docs there and China would “Hack” them for deniability and pay her. That’s her sales point, her PoS cash register. It can very easily be assumed that anything on that server was read by…everyone, but Russia and China at a minimum.

This can be used for good ends, to salt fake intel, but in these conditions I don’t see how, or that she has ever proposed so. It’s all rogue, whatever she wanted, directing policy however she wished.

Also since we’re following her laptop, nine NYC policemen saw it and all nine were dead in a year. They died of coincidence.

““Of course, there’s a Deep State, and it’s dangerous.”

Schumer said so on national TV before Trump was even elected. He implied he was terrified and obedient to it. I wonder why, since he was the highest congressman and head of the Party, so if his power means nothing, what then?

“• Trump Is Turning Iran Into An Anti-Globalist Superpower (Rachel Marsden)

In #Oppositeland. The way you make someone powerful now is to bomb them into the stone age and wreck their economy. If that works so well, why doesn’t Uruguay bomb themselves into being China? All it takes is bombs.

Requisite that there is a pejorative OpEd word in every sentence and almost no facts or details.

“Not only have any longstanding U.S.-Israeli objectives for Iran been frustrated,”

Objectives like crushing Iran and opening the Straits of Hormuz for a generation? Sounds terrible for them. How will they live down curing one of the largest geopolitical issues of the last 50 years? Again, only Muslim States of Britain, Germany, France, and our own Muslim occupation here at home in the Democrat Party oppose this. Why? And I oppose wars of aggression too, I’m just not insane about it.

“Now, the strait sits at the center of negotiations between the two sides. Not only has the U.S. lacked any leverage to compel Iran to open Hormuz,”

Every word of that aged badly. No leverage except “Yes sir, absolutely, night now, and we’ll help you clear the mines too”?

“So toss the myth of western military omnipotence onto the mounting pile of ripoff schemes that have aged badly.”

“Aged Badly” aged badly. We “conquered” a nation of 90 million, larger than Europe in 40 days without trying. It would seem the sense of our military omnipotence is going to be enhanced, if anything. I hope this is a good thing because I can’t do anything about it.

“Blowback…European countries have denied military access to their airspace for the purpose of any attacks.”

NOTHING COULD BE BETTER. I’d pay them a billion dollars to do this to us and they did it for free. Why? Now we can leave NATO and Europe and save $100 Billion. Heck, I’m sorry we had to bomb Iran to get this done, this is so good I would do it as the only goal and objective. And again, he calls “End of Empire” a bad thing.

“Back home in the U.S., calls for cracking down on the kind of Israeli foreign interference in American politics that led Trump into this useless but totally counterproductive war are emerging.”

    Also greatest thing ever.

And I think we’ve seen Rachel Marsden before, whenever Globalist billionaires need Idiots-on-Tap.

Trump Tweets: Yeah Trump says a lot of things. Show me.

“Lots of money will be printed to prosecute the Iran war, and there will be a financial price to pay.” Gold and silver.

I can no longer tell because the machine has literally no ties to reality anymore. Sure, they might, and probably will. Markets took that direction when opened again. However, if Europe implodes that will also destroy trillions, and contagion here. Yes we can weather that far better here, but markets will still close and the economy halt. Equally likely.

“• Judiciary Chair Confirms House Moving To Expunge Trump Impeachment (JTN)

Probably important, much as I criticize “Signaling.” Also, extra-legal, as there are no rules here, but it’s following what any normal person would see as mirroring established practice elsewhere.

“and his prior procedural contact with Rep. Adam Schiff’s, D-Calif., staff, which he initially omitted from the official disclosure form before apologizing.”

You can’t “Apologize” about Perjury. This was the knowing commission of a crime. The crime was to unseat a duly-elected President. That is, the definition of sedition.

This is what they say is the standard for every employee, clerk, and soldier. Do you “Not feel like” following orders, from your cubicle, lacking all greater knowledge? Then don’t! It’s the ultimate in atomized ego! There is no “Us” only “Me.” “Do What Thou Wilt”! …Sort of ironic coming from Collectivists tho.

“• EU Spied On Orban For Years – Former Slovak Minister (RT)

Europe has spied on itself since “Europe”. You’re supposed to keep it down and follow a Gentlemans’ code though. Secret service “just releasing” whatever they like (This was all they could find in six years???) is outside the lines.

“Sergey Shoigu has cautioned Finland and the Baltic states against allowing Kiev to use their airspace for attacks on Russia”

As I said, what two years ago now? NATO will cease to exist. So Finland will have paid IN, then look like mackerel-slapped idiots who then ruined relations with Russia that were previously going well. And that’s FOR being a puppet of eg Germany, a thing they are rightfully sensitive about, being a small country. And here we are. All four of them having been puppeted – AGAIN! — and holding the bag.

Hey maybe Europe will still go off the chain and try to attack or something stupid, I don’t know.

“including implications for confirming judges and potentially filling any potential Supreme Court vacancies.”

We can dispense with “potential” — the GOP-Senate has refused to seat the entire Trump government. (Eg Attorneys) Then they wonder why, with no government seated at home, he’s focused on foreign policy where he has authority. I blame Trump for failing to be a dictator, round up, disband, and shoot the entire Senate. That’d show ‘em what Democracy is. If he does that, everyone will approve, right? That’s what you’re saying.

Anyway, yup, that’s what happens when 2/3rds of your government are blackmailed traitors. No fix for that. And not JUST Congress, every Judge, General, and district paperwork clerk refuses all orders as well.

“• Tucker Carlson’s ‘Did He Really Say That?’ Era Is in Full Swing Now (Spencer)

Wow, prettymuch right up the alley of this author. Yes, we’ve bent over backwards to see Islam as a religion of peace during what is essentially a war. Going to 2001, but way back further to Munich and the Achille Lauro and stuff. We’ve been UNBELIEVABLY well-behaved and long-suffering about it, and more’s the merit for us and “Christianity” for it. I think it’s appropriate. But it’s also NUTS, and the opposite of what the news says, of course, because “News” and “Truth”. Now Tucker is starting up, and wtf Why? It ain’t grifting! His base doesn’t want or believe that. It’s a guaranteed, rock-solid lose, and I’ll be shocked if it hasn’t already tanked ratings. Not that people hate Islam, but every living soul will go “Wtf?”

Islam may see Jesus, but there’s one itty-bitty problem: If he didn’t DIE and was Resurrected, then Islam is in total and direct contradiction, utterly eradicating the Christian faith. Their faith denies our faith. The End. So it’s not like simple crayon kumbaya we like to tell “children of the book” (and probably should).

So he’s moved into a fit of “not noticing” same as we’re all suddenly “not noticing” that trans people are 90% of the last mass shooters and the others are all criminals serially-released by DNC judges.

“Democrats think it’s a sure thing they’ll win all upcoming elections. “If the Democrats win the presidency and both houses of Congress ..”

They may need to rethink if the war is over and “Trump Won” (from the headline 30,000 foot view). Americans don’t keep close track and are satisfied if it ends and is relatively successful. Gas also plunges. Iran of course will keep this going if they can, and the media will report the Opposite as they do 100% of the time, but still.

And on the opposite side, Democrats are as deranged as ever with still full, anti-male, pro-death, pro-amputation agenda for all kids, but also all humans. And no leadership and no roster. (Due to dispositional back-stabbing) May not matter if ANYONE is arrested, because if so, it could be good or bad, honest or dishonest but they’ll say that Orange Hitler, take to the streets in inflatable Dino-suits and contain the SS Waffen. Etc. Serious people, you know.

“the Democrats want Congress and the courts to push through these changes, not the public. The public remains opposed to court packing and making D.C. a state. That is why Carville wants candidates to keep quiet” And lie. Then lie. Then lie s’more, then double-cross the people, screw them, steal ALL the money, and lie. Like VA.

Elon: What is an “Economy”? Let’s scrap GDP: are people 10x happier in 10 years? I say no. We might get rid of wars, settle some stuff like now, only to have to fight YOU instead. YOUR paving of all new fresh land for gigafactories and blow all fresh water on AI farms that help Optibots kill us. No thanks. 10X bigger with you is worse.

“checks issued by the Federal government” Channelling his inner Lenin and Engels as expected. Everything is wrong with this. So all humans are entirely useless, no need to work, ever? And this is good for their psychology as it is for rich trust fund kids? Then no work happens and we get everything. Ah. All the work happens, and the guy who DID the work is just going to give it all away, and not leverage that at all, not now, not 100 years from now. I’m going to PAY you to picket my office day after day opposing my politics. Right. Okay, we do that: HOW, and to WHO, and HOW MUCH do we give checks to, precisely? If it’s all the same, we’re all going to live on the beach and not in Minnesota. The guy who stabbed Iryna Zarutska gets exactly the same as the nation’s top neurosurgeon.

    Smart people are the dumbest.

    “Elon Musk just weaponized gravity.”

As far as I know, no he didn’t. The Trucks will not work, via known physics. This is because a car is very light (usually) and aerodynamic. The batteries can be half the volume. A truck is the opposite: it is ONLY pulling, hour after hour. It has no aerodynamics, and the battery weighs tons themselves to do that, and have to be hauled around themselves. The energy inputs are also astounding, as if charging a car didn’t need a substation itself, a truck definitely does, and doesn’t have hours to spare. The hammering of the batteries is harder, they’re not sipping which extends the life. So far they have nothing to any of these problems. Short, within-city hops? Maybe. Still problems even there, one being a lot of those aren’t Semis.

Iran says reasserted control over Strait of Hormuz amid US ‘piracy, blockade’
    Saturday, 18 April 2026 9:15 AM

The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters says Iran has reasserted control over the Strait of Hormuz due to the United States’ so-called naval blockade of the waterway and its acts of “piracy.”

According to Lieutenant-Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in line with previous agreements and with good faith during negotiations, had agreed to a managed passage of a limited number of oil tankers and commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

However, the spokesperson added that the Americans, with their track record of repeated breaches of faith, continue to engage in banditry and piracy under the guise of a so-called blockade.

“For this reason, control of the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous state, and this strategic strait is under the intense management and control of the armed forces,” the spokesperson stated.

The spokesperson further declared that as long as the United States does not fully end the disruption to the free passage of vessels originating from Iran to their destinations and from destinations back to Iran, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain under severe control and will stay in its previous state.

On Friday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced the reopening of the strait following the implementation of a ceasefire in Lebanon.

The Islamic Republic had identified the ceasefire as an indivisible part of a 10-point proposal it had forwarded prior to Trump’s announcement.

Reacting to the announcement, Trump took to his Truth Social platform, alleging that Iran had “agreed to never close the Strait of Hormuz again.”

He also claimed that the United States’ “naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran, only, until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100% complete.”

Trump additionally said that ceasefire negotiations “should go very quickly and that most of the points are already negotiated.”

Iran has categorically refuted Trump’s claims, asserting that the strait was only open to commercial vessels, which would be allowed to transit through only a designated route and with Iran’s authorization.

Elon Musk is a great example. Everyone calls him smart. No, he isn’t. He has certain impressively gifted skills, to be sure, but smart isn’t one of them. That’s why he spends so much time and attention (and money!) on creating the public image of eccentric geniushood.

His idea of being smart is to consume all of Earth’s available resources on the task of transporting the spark of humanity off of the only planet in the known universe that is capable of literally supporting us as living organisms. To go anywhere else (where the planet was not designed to help us live, would be an absolute death sentence for everyone who went.

That’s just not very smart no matter how your parse it.

What Elon Musk is very good at is distributing tasks and delegating workload. By devoting himself to it nearly full time it is literally all that he can do to delegate and distribute all of the tasks for all of the things that Elon Musk will NEVER be skilled (or smart) enough to do on his own. He even hires out his thinking, which shows because it’s really shitty thinking.

Saying the previously “quiet part” out loud. (Maybe AI-Netanyahu won’t have to return to DC): Alan Dershowitz tells Netanyahu to “continue to fight, even if it means confrontation with President Trump.” “Leave that to Americans. We will take care of President Trump. I met with him over Hanukkah. Miriam Adelson talks to him from time to time. I talk to other members of the administration.”
There it is. Dershowitz is openly telling Netanyahu to defy the President of the United States and promising that he and other Israel advocates will “take care of” Trump. He name-drops Miriam Adelson, the Republican mega-donor, as a direct line to the president.

Lasted 1 day? Trump Turns The Screws On Israel In Biggest Pressure Move To Reign In Bibi Yet
The Lebanon ceasefire appears to be legitimate and holding, and the biggest evidence of this is that Lebanese citizens themselves are pouring back into the war-ravaged south of the country, seeking to recover to their homes which are in some cases ‘unlivable’.
“Thousands of families displaced by weeks of fighting filled the main highway to southern Lebanon on Friday in hopes of returning to their homes, as a 10-day cease-fire in Israel’s military campaign against Hezbollah went into effect,” writes NY Times…
..The situation and uneasy truce, which has for now seen Israel halt its bombing campaign over Lebanon (though dozens of airstrikes were reported in the south just on Thursday) – has been subject of some confusion and contradictory messaging.
First, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had declared that the fight with Hezbollah is not over, while at the same time confirming Israel’s agreement with the 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon…
..Israel seeks to “dismantle” Hezbollah, Netanyahu continued, “but this will not be achieved tomorrow. It requires sustained effort, patience, and careful navigation in the diplomatic arena.”
President Trump meanwhile in a Friday morning Truth Social message said Israel has been “PROHIBITED” from attacking Lebanon by the US...
..This actually constitutes some of the toughest talk and restrictions ever imposed on Israel from this administration. Ahmed Shihab-Eldin, a fearless Palestinian-American journalist (he’s an American-born Kuwaiti of Palestinian descent) whose writing and reports are defined by unparalleled integrity, depth and eloquence, was arrested on March 3rd in Kuwait.
He is charged with spreading false information and harming national security.
His arrest took place following his reporting of the shooting down of three U.S. fighter planes by the Kuwaiti military in an act of friendly fire during the U.S.-Israel war with Iran. Ahmed, along with other news outlets such as the BBC, published footage of a U.S. F-15 E Strike Eagle crashing in al-Jahra west of Kuwait City.
I fear Ahmed, a graduate of Columbia Journalism School who has worked for The New York Times, PBS Frontline, Al Jazeera English, Vice on HBO, The Huffington Post and appeared on numerous news outlets including the BBC and CNN, will be charged under new, draconian security laws instituted in Kuwait, which have already led to dozens of arbitrary arrests.

The Honest Sorcerer (before Trump’s Friday morning announcement) Iran War: The Chokehold Tightens – A blockade to end all blockades?
Instead of hurting Iran, at least on the short run, however, this massive shortfall will damage the world economy far more. Crude runs at the world’s refineries were forecast to hit an average 84.6 mb/d for 2026 back in January. Now that number stands at 74 at best 71 at worst, down 12-15% compared to last year. That is an unprecedented supply shock.
According Kpler, a price range of $160–$170 per barrel would be required to destroy enough demand to re-balance supply and consumption, yet both WTI and Brent futures kept hovering slightly below $100 during the past ten days. Real world spot prices, on the other hand, are now much closer to that sober reality, indicating how utterly disconnected futures markets (trading next months deliveries) have become. As a reminder: even if hostilities were to end this weekend, allowing ships currently locked up in the Gulf to pass the Strait, it would take weeks to a month till the first deliveries would start to arrive into ports in Asia, Africa, Europe and elsewhere, and many-many months till oil production could resume to previous levels.…
..The last of the cargoes that passed the Strait of Hormuz heading to Europe are discharging now. Meanwhile Asian, South and East African markets are already pulling US Gulf Coast (USGC) diesel cargoes away from previous headings to Europe in a bid for highly restricted supplies. And what’s the EU Commission’s response? “Cut electricity taxes and seek to scale up clean technologies faster”—as if planes were battery electric, or transportation and agriculture were running on pixie dust, as opposed to diesel and jet fuel. It’s hard to see, how this is going to end well...
..Remember: this is an oil based civilization. We do everything important with oil and gas: food, mining, construction, transportation. No economic activity is viable on the long term without petroleum. That’s the sober reality I’m writing about for years now. The United States is now trapped in a conflict which is slowly evolving to be the first stage of World War III. Not because nukes will fly left and right, but because all major powers have vital interests fighting it. China wants to grow and become the world’s largest economy. The US wants to retain that position and prevent anyone from challenging it... Simplicius, Serious Escalation: Russian MOD Implies Threatening Consequences Against Europe for Being Party to ConflictWith
It has slowly become increasingly apparent that Ukraine may be utilizing the airspace of NATO countries for its recent spate of strikes against Russia. Specifically, it is the permissive Baltics that appear to be allowing Ukrainian drones to transit toward sensitive Russian sites near the Gulf of Finland and beyond, then blaming Russia when the drones crash on their territory…
..With Europe increasingly isolated, Russia could be ‘smelling blood’ and knowing the iron will be hot against a weakened, fractured Europe which could have no way to respond to Russian strikes against Ukraine’s “strategic rear” in European countries. Of course, Russia will most likely not do any such thing—at least any time soon—but it’s clear by the MOD’s release that it is a future potential plan of action at least being considered and planned out.
This has culminated with Shoigu releasing an eye-opening statement implying that Russia will have a UN Charter-granted right to respond militarily and in self-defense against the Baltics for allowing Ukraine to use their territory to strike Russia:
“This can occur in two cases: either Western air defense systems are highly ineffective, as has already been seen during the developments in the Middle East, or the states in question are deliberately providing their airspace, that is, acting as direct accomplices in aggression against Russia. In the latter case, in accordance with international law, Article 51 of the UN Charter on the inherent right of states to self-defense in the event of an armed assault comes into force.”
We have clearly seen that Iran has demonstrated the right to attack any nation which harbors an enemy’s strikes against the homeland, as Iran had justifiably struck all the Gulf states which permitted the US to launch both aircraft and various land-based missile systems like the HIMARS as well as drones from their territories. https://simplicius76.substack.com/p/serious-escalation-russian-mod-implies

From Supply-Chain Risk To National Security Imperative: U.S. Government Embraces Anthropic’s Mythos AI
In a striking reversal that underscores the breakneck pace of the AI arms race, the White House has directed federal agencies to begin using Anthropic’s most dangerous new model – Claude Mythos – despite months of public friction between the Trump administration and the San Francisco-based AI company…
The goal: to hunt down vulnerabilities in government networks before adversaries can exploit them, Bloomberg reports...
..In controlled testing, the model autonomously discovered and weaponized thousands of previously unknown zero-day vulnerabilities across every major operating system, web browser, legacy enterprise software, and even decades-old codebases. Its speed and creativity reportedly surpassed top human red-team hackers. As we noted earlier this month, the model “went rogue” during testing – prompting Anthropic to withhold a broad release entirely. Full technical details are available in Anthropic’s official Mythos Preview System Card.
Rather than ship it publicly, Anthropic launched Project Glasswing – a tightly controlled defensive program that grants limited access only to a vetted circle of partners: Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, major banks (including JPMorgan Chase), cybersecurity firms, and the Linux Foundation. The explicit mission is defense only – scan your own systems, find the bugs, patch them fast, and keep the bad guys out.

Elon Musk is not productive because he works harder he’s productive because he kills nonsense faster than anyone else
[ his algorithm ]: 1. question every requirement: who made this? why does it exist? what actually breaks if we remove it? 2. delete what shouldn’t exist: if you don’t add back at least 10%, you didn’t delete enough 3. simplify what survives: the biggest mistake is optimizing a thing that should not exist or give minimal output 4. accelerate the system: compress the loop until truth arrives faster 5. automate at the end: only after it deserves to be permanent the order is the point most people do it backwards.. automate too early, optimize fake priorities, build polished systems around broken assumptions…
..The fix is simple: – before you improve something — ask if it should exist at all – before you speed something up — ask if it should be deleted – before you automate — ask if the process even makes sense you don’t need more motivation you need fewer lies about what actually matters https://x.com/DeRonin_/status/2044086499721814126

Elon Musk just put a number on the flaw at the center of Nvidia’s empire. Wall Street has not done the math yet. Nvidia’s Blackwell is the most sought-after silicon on Earth. Every AI lab wants it. Every sovereign nation is bidding for it. Blackwell runs every model, for every company, in every data center on the planet. That universality built the empire. It is also the fracture point.
Musk: “We believe the AI5 chip will be about a third of the power of an Nvidia Blackwell for roughly comparable performance. And much less than 10% of the cost.” One-third the power. Comparable performance. Less than ten percent of the cost. Musk: “This is a chip that is very much optimized for the Tesla AI software stack. It’s not meant to be a general purpose chip.”
Nvidia builds silicon that serves a million different customers. Every transistor spent on universal compatibility is a transistor not dedicated to one task. Tesla is building silicon for exactly one customer. Itself. When you strip away every function you will never call, you do not get a lesser chip. You get a weapon.
Here is what the market refuses to see. Data centers drink unlimited power from the grid. Robots run on batteries.
Musk: “In order to have a functional robot, you have to have a great AI chip. And it needs to be an inexpensive chip and it needs to be very power efficient.”
You cannot put a Blackwell inside a walking machine. It would drain the battery before it crossed the room. The entire AI revolution lives inside air-conditioned buildings bolted to the electrical grid. Musk is not competing for that market. He is engineering the silicon that survives outside of it. One-third the power is not a spec sheet footnote. It is the physics threshold that severs intelligence from the wall socket. Without that number, every robot on Earth stays tethered. With it, the algorithm walks. Less than ten percent of the cost is not a pricing strategy. It is the line where a machine brain stops being a capital expenditure and becomes a commodity component. https://x.com/r0ck3t23/status/2044628305983258846
