[See the full post at: Debt Rattle April 9 2023]Of course, you know, the famous pictures from Germany in the early twenties, banknotes in wheelbarrows. Want to buy a cup of coffee? That will be £30 of currency. Kids playing with worthless stacks of deutschmarks. That was called Weimar, the Weimar Republic and that government collapsed because of hyperinflation and then economic collapse led to communist revolutions across Germany and ultimately to fill in the blank the Nazi regime. That’s well known.
In fact, it’s a cliche at this point, but here’s the thing that nobody seems to remember What brought on the economic collapse that set the world on fire. Does anyone remember that? Why did the German government blow up its own currency? Well, simple. The German government took on too much debt in order to pay for a pointless war. Yes, a pointless war did that and if that sounds familiar, it’s because exactly what we have done repeatedly for decades. We did it in Vietnam. We did it in Iraq. We did it in Afghanistan and every time we got away with it, because uniquely, we held the world’s reserve currency, but this time could be very, very different. War against Russia will be the last war we can afford to fight.
So many just little things, as like Arrest vs Arraign, reporters don’t know what reality is, don’t ask, and don’t know the definitions of words. Like “Bulls—t”, they just don’t care. Nothing could be further from their minds than asking, knowing, or getting it correct.
The Yuan may be increasing in use, but it’s not replacing the US$ in that way, nor do I believe that’s China’s goal at this time. It may have been, but since it’s a trap, maybe they’ve realized it and not bothered. That was true of Spain, Holland, England, and us too, they didn’t MEAN to fall into the trap, and perhaps China will follow, but not right now. They are using bi-lateral local currencies which means they are extremely multi-polar. It’s enough that this will have the same effect of dropping the US$ below the critical threshold, without replacing it with anything. “China” — or Not-China — is therefore replacing the US$ with 200 currencies.
As plans go, it appears for standardization and ease of settlement they are looking into a “basket of currencies + commodities” list what will include the Yuan, but will include the ruble, rupee, Real, bhat, dinar, and everything else, including or especially gold, which is easy to do with computers. As that basket, whatever it is, will be attacked by London and the combined West, they need to construct it largely for that purpose, but Russia’s ruble and defense have shown they are fine. The details need to be finalized.
Taiwan IS China. That’s official U.S. and Congressional policy. So it’s pretty odd they’re also fighting China. So if China invades China we attack China? What if Canada occupies Regina, should we bomb Toronto too? And they’ll put boots on the ground? Uh-huh, more like air-drop boots into the water to doggie-paddle. There’s no room, and we have no capacity. Nor if we had the capacity, would any surface-level ship remain floating. So it’s lucky we have no ships, no shipyards, no captains, and no steel mills. Saves a lot of waste.
I don’t know what they’re smoking, but China’s reference to “drug harlequins” is probably about Macron, who’s doing so many drug now his teeth are rotting out. Not too different from the rest of them, but I guess he acted like he was on drugs in China too, although only a little. That’s beyong Ze, who is famous, Hunter, and Amsterdam which is a drug nation-enclave now.

I was thinking a lot about some U.S. serviceman posting all the Ukrainian flags upside down before General-shaped object Milley last week. There for hours. No one noticed. Because they all love and support Ukraine so much they have no idea what their flag looks like? It’s one of these deeper communications, so many threads come together at once: did the serviceman know? Did Milley really not know? If they did know, then what? If they didn’t, then what? The media, then what? Where no matter what the answer of the little questions, the conclusion becomes the same.

TVASF15 minute city
Every ancient city in Europe that we “fall in love with” is “15 minute city”. All the basic groceries shopping is at walking distance. That may include local barber/hair dresser, baker and meat, pastry and coffee shops. Which, by the way, is not too different than concept that Ottomans had in Balkans and elsewhere, where smallest residential district in order to have it’s own name must have a Mesdžid (modestly built mosque), bakery and the barber shop. Homes with the walled courts and gardens provided the basic vegetables and fruits and means to keep poultry. All other major shopping took place in the city center market place and is associated as being “special event”. Pretty much in tune with current thinking of what the meaningful life is, expressed in the comment sections.

Missing from that statement is the fact that the French government demanded that Germany pay for all the damage done in France, which the impoverished German economy was incapable of doing, not having recovered from the destruction the Allies had caused.
