ParticipantThe REAL reason for the Iran War: Huge profits for Trump insiders and Big Oil
Donald Trump administration insiders have been widely accused of corruption, insider trading, and market manipulation related to the US war on Iran. Ben Norton analyzes the evidence, showing why this may explain Washington’s contradictory policies and flip-flopping between bombings and peace talks.

Participant“Iranian power elites have decided to contest for primacy in the Mideast, first peeling oil-rich neighbors away from a hegemony that can’t defend them, then making hegemonic presence unprofitable for the retiring-hegemon, which can just leave the region…” Except this didn’t happen, the opposite happened.
And when oil was shut off, it certainly appears other alternatives DID arise – very quickly – and there were no shortages, demonstrating there appears to be rather a lot of oil left and it’s not “Peak” at all. Yet.
“would they not highly consider nuclear annihilation? … If Iran, China, Russia, Turkey the US, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Egypt anticipate this, what might they be doing now to prepare?”The entire 160 Day war is ALREADY an answer to that question. Officially. According to Rubio. So we know what happened in the past. The “If we don’t look out something bad might happen” is incredible.
CoPilot view on banking = Simply leverage. I agree, but the whole thing is complicated and deserves a lot of thought and attention. It may have been done TO cause this problem. I mean, as another front Bessant is attacking. No, we’re trying to Empire, to Take, to blah blah blah. No. The new system, the Stable coin system Bessant/Powell is pushing, the removing of the Eurodollars, is all REDUCING leverage. That’s why Europe alone is screaming. They are the colonialists by which this is their extraction method. This is a push to head one level CLOSER to a gold standard re-wrap the onion, reverse the past from here to Nixon maybe. Then take on a read gold standard level later.
The point is, reversing this leverage from 3,000:1 or 300:1 in London down to 30:1 is the first stop on the tracks. And yes, that is exactly why Iran is their major outpost of “Collateral” and capital flows we are shutting off. Shut off $500M/wk and multiply by 3,000x, and that’s the collateral missing from London this week. Hopefully, the Globalists have had to risk their own assets instead to prevent collapse, sapping them. Same plan as Putin ran in Ukraine because it works on the same enemies.
As the next article goes on, Crypto moves directly, or can, person to person, no middle men, and this erases opportunities to pile infinity leverage, esp using system delays they scalp interest on. This is all colonial extraction, how it is done. That is being shut off. By the United States. Explain?
“Tether’s gold holdings have more than doubled since Q1 2025, while their value has nearly tripled over the same period. This makes the company the largest known private holder of gold outside of central banks” Tether is essentially a directive of the U.S. Treasury. Or it would seem. They talk about McKinley, and this is it. “The Fed” is reversed by the Fed.
“..Political power in modern societies is increasingly exercised through infrastructure rather than through overt legislation.”
Yes, and think of that with Amazon and SpaceX instead.
“Iran threatens to hit Gulf states if US launches new strikes”Iran attacks and invades everyone they can find. Yes. We know. That’s what makes them the good guys I guess.
“Tehran’s price keeps rising. The mayor of Tehran: nations that threatened Iran have no right to use the strait until compensation is paid,”
Translation: Tehran will attack all neighbors until they are tribute-paying fiefdoms of Iran, so naturally I expect them all to fold. Why would Saudi want to exist anyway?
“Iranian MP Ebrahim Rezaei’s response: “a paper agreement with Turkiye and Pakistan will not bring them security, just as years of one-sided nursing to the Americans did not”
Iran says they’ll attack Turkey and Pakistan too. Got it. Totally reasonable and feel super-safe now. We can be sure the good guys are in charge.
“.Physical oil is not behaving like a deal is imminent”Disagree. It’s $77, near the bottom. So it’s also not behaving like there’s any war at all, or the Straits have any geopolitical importance whatsoever.
“That is the actual reason three countries signed a mutual-defence pact. Gulf states no longer believe the US umbrella exists.”
Okay, so we agree we’re all happy then. The U.S. Empire has ended, the Middle Eastern Security is now run by the locals. That’s the end state everyone said they wanted. I for one actually am happy, and don’t understand all the shouting. We won. The very heavy, tar-laden balance has been shifted, even though it takes big events to make that happen.
“..Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Dan Caine is privately pushing for an off-ramp from the Iran war.”Meaning the GOOD outcome is NOT the end of war but its continuation forever? That’s the assumption here. Uhhh, no, I don’t think even Generals want this. Because that’s not “Winning.” Winning is the END state, meaning war is over. That is, it had an off-ramp. JHC The level by which the supposed good guys presume all wars must be eternal is mind-boggling. The level to which the peaceniks fight peace at a root level is stupefying. Can anyone understand how they got them into a state where they actively, violently, oppose any end to war as a “Loss”? And the normal people nod their heads in thoughtless agreement?
War = Peace. Every day of the year now. Only by eternal war can we be winning. Uhhh, no. I have not lost my mind to that level yet. Peace is still peace to some of us. They understand ending is Winning.
“Hormuz: the “deal” that reads like a rejection; tolls drafted at 5-7% – Iran’s own terms”
Translation: “Iran said things”. Nothing was signed, no one paid, no bombing stopped, no one left the field. The author is running a victory lap every time “Iran says things”. I can say things too!
Reporters used to know the difference between saying things and doing them, between saying you’re going to get punched in the mouth and doing it. So did everyone else. Now “Words are violence” and “Violence is the language of the dispossessed proletariat.” Looking at a woman is rape, but actual rape is ok. Tell me what mindset we have where “Saying things” is real. Did you notice Trump also “says things”? Wow, but then they’re NOT real. Only my side, right or wrong. How can you be blind to a bias this enormous? “Iran said it from a cave, so it’s true.”
“The silence surrounding the outcome to the Netanyahu meeting last week in the Oval Office speaks for itself. No American government official came to the airport to receive him,”
This is how Nutsy runs Trump and the United States. AIPAC runs all Congress except what, like 6 recent candidates, Recently Al-Sayed in Michigan. Because The Joooooos run everything, they couldn’t stop a 3rd rate candidate in a state they own, with the entire Democratic Party working with them. Such is their amazing power over the earth.
Would you like to try again? It seems Israel did NOT have power over Trump (duh) and not all that much over America either. The “We Just Say Things” is what a lot of their power was based on. If you actually test that power it folds like a paper tent. Okay, what’s your new theory then, boys? The Jooooos are luring us in?
“Trump – finally, it seems – understands that the war which he started in order to crush Iran has flipped – to destroying him.”
Quite the opposite for a dozen reasons. Trump isn’t electing and is at no personal risk at all. He’s not really in danger of the midterm and this isn’t having much effect. The military reality he describes has nothing to do with Trump, but is worldwide as Offense outpaces Defense. That proves that Trump was RIGHT to act now, because every day you wait it becomes much less possible. I’m not making that claim, but if YOU say weapons are headed this way, that must be YOUR conclusion. …So the #Opposite of everything he is reporting. As usual.
They are Reporters. Therefore they are glue-sniffing crayon munchers who can’t add 2 and 2.

I agree because no one ever stopped bombing for a few hours yet to begin with, but that’s not MY argument. It was HIS argument that it was already over and we lost, 100 days ago, the nation with the full Air Force, thousands of missiles, a floating Navy, no ships sunk, homeland untouched is the loser.
How long is “Soon”, Al? How Soon Is Now? He doesn’t say because then he would have to …say something. Anything except “Orange Man Bad”, “The U.S. is evil and will collapse later this week.” So saying…nothing, Al? But ALSO that it’s already over? So it’s over and not over? Lost but not lost? Long time but also short. Oil is $200 but also $70. Yup, that’s the same Team we were talking about yesterday, you always know them bc their weirdo cult always thinks and speaks this way: with complete, universal self-contradiction, where Reality itself is entirely optional. Both. Neither. Aiii. All objects and their Opposites are the same.
“Alastair Crooke : US Middle East Dominance is Ended”
Considering he thinks all things are their #Opposites, I’m not sure whether to believe it. But if it’s true, WE WON! We’re leaving the Middle East, Empire is over, and Trump won. America First is transcendent. …I have the feeling he’s not elated by that as I am. Why so sad, Al? Trump won. You got what you wanted now. What gives? That also means Israel is not running us at all, even a little. Surely he can at least be glad for that, which is his own conclusion.
“Larry Johnson : What Iran Requires to Open Hormuz”
Why would I open it or care? Ever? Oil is $70. All your sales are belong to us. Please, PLEASE keep it closed.

You’re right then. We won. WE have the profits; they don’t. WE have the $500M a week. Iran has nothing, and there is no leverage in keeping it shut. No one cares now.
This is how Trump is stupid and the United States loses. That’s alright, you don’t have to apologize for being completely wrong, I know it’s hard to admit how deeply and thoroughly we’ve won. It’s enough to just move on from here in perfect agreement. All Iran’s money is now ours and that profit is in the United States for the long term.

ParticipantOkay, Reid, I accept your premise: We are Evil AF, Trump is Hitler. The whole planet is at stake. If you believe this, the only POSSIBLE moral option is to attack and destroy the United States. So Canada needs to sacrifice everything, arm up wildly, and invade. They are the closest army, the world’s last chance. If they don’t, the world falls into darkness.
This requires immediate restructure of your life and experience, investing in weapons, small-arms training, military maneuvers and field practice at a minimum. By clearly taking out your life savings, invest in small-arms tactics, supplies, and say, medical training.
Now inexplicably, the Canadian government – which officially believes the same premise – will arrest you on sight if they even SUSPECT you are learning to arm yourself or fight, even against the United States. In fact, even if you enlist, they’ll arrest and harass you out of the military. Nevermind that! No one has let that stop them before. The world is at stake, you MUST stop Hitler in 1938, I’m sure we all would. He’s coming for you anyway, it makes no difference.
So here we go. This is YOUR premise. We, our actions are evil. YOU MUST ACT. Your lack of acting is deeply, profoundly immoral. It’s tantamount to conceding, surrendering, even helping the United States. Standing by as we commit genocide and take over the world as the sole Imperial power. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ACT. Blow some dams, drop some substations, throw sand in the gears, things you can do in an afternoon.
You don’t. Not a Canadian has lifted a finger and never have, and also helped in Gulf I and II. (https://www.lermuseum.org/1945-to-present/gulf-war)
THIS is what I’m talking about. It’s fine to snoot your nose in moral superiority until you have to DO something. Then it’s “This is a job…For somebody else.” So 1) You don’t believe any of this and never have. Very and most likely in fact. 2) Your morality is fine so long as it doesn’t interfere with personal profits, an argument leveled against the U.S. as being unique. Or 3) It’s so moral that your moral position will allow, encourage, in fact INSURE evil to win, always and everywhere. More or less instantly. Because acting is evil.
Which would you like to argue?
I don’t think even DBS actually thinks all violence is evil. He was just caught offsides that one time not carving out that of course self-defense is moral. Even though it’s ALSO fatal and violent. But he said ALL violence was evil in that, so he’s not required to fight it. In contrast, now’s your chance: will you join the Lincoln Brigade and fight Orange Hitler or not? This is what I mean by Action. That all actions we take are Evil because they fall short of perfect. Show me in your ACTIONS that you take action, even if they are imperfect. That you believe what you believe.
By contrast, look at Americans. We had the same choice since Clinton and Papa Bush in the 90s, Obama and W (same person) in the 2000s, what did we do? Did we all gear up and train like I’m saying is necessary to fight evil if you believe this?
Uhhh, yes we did actually. We totally and famously did. Millions did. Gun sales were off the charts in ever-increasing numbers, people left the cities and re-homesteaded more than any time since the 70s. It’s very widely known and accepted that a huge portion of the American people thought they would have to fight the Government in a Civil War and prepared for it. There are whole tropes about how we did this. That is to say, WE WERE NOT TALK. We were ACTION. Quiet, constant ACTION. Proving we actually believed what we were saying.Democrats, in contrast, say Trump is Hitler and I say “We’re on the same page! Welcome to the club, my brother! get R Gunz n’ Ball Jars and fight da Governments.” Nope. Not a bit. Not a pinky finger lifted. Because they don’t actually believe a word. Clearly. It’s all a web of lies to them. And thank God for that, actually. But like 1% of 1% of them actually believe a single word which is why they have to get paid to protest, even down to today. They would never stop that Amazon and Disney+ purchase to fight Hitler and in fact are enthusiastic to buy slave-owning Apple and Nike, subscribe and repeat CIA-run WaPo and Bezos.
Now I won’t say Canada is like that, but the point is the same. If it’s evil, you’re morally REQUIRED to take violent, probably fatal action. Even at the risk of your life. Not acting is as evil as helping. So show me.
Having a more nuanced view I express every day for years, I’m not in any moral bind at all about this. But you are. Show me you care with the sacrifice of your life and fortune, as I have. Otherwise, it’s thin morality indeed.
Not acting is immoral.

Participant“as war that was supposed to bring the Iranian government to its knees backfires badly”
Was it? Did it? They never said what their goal was. It was “Not forever war” while mostly we’re not bombing, some 50 of 150 days, and also “Iran has no nuclear weapon” which they still don’t. YOU MADE UP all the stuff about the process and the goals.
It didn’t backfire at all. Oil is $77. Oil has re-routed to the U.S. primarily, the Strait have been proven to not be a lynchpin or blockade at all. Iran now has no army AND no leverage. Plus no income. Don’t open it. See if I or anyone cares.
They Make Stuff Up. That’s it, that’s what they do all day in their smartness. They seem to have made up we did this for Israel, yet for the dozens of reasons that keep accruing each day, that’s not likely, in fact Israel is hammered and being squeezed out of power, especially in the U.S. Trump attacks them daily in contradiction to that theory which after 100 Days still isn’t updated. They make up that we care whether the regime falls. Do we? And what would “we” replace it with? We have arranged nothing. Doesn’t that seem odd. This is AFTER they demanded we have a ground invasion, for which we have neither the troops nor ships to accomplish. Just Made It Up. They MADE UP A WHOLE ARMY. All in their minds. Then that army invaded and occupied, also all in their minds. They didn’t notice and haven’t yet.
Why would we care if the IRGC falls so long as they are too weak to do anything? Or much of anything, as any 10 random terrorists can do what they do every day. And WHO are we doing this for since America dgaf WHAT happens there, it’s not our transit nor our oil and our official position is we’re leaving? It’s for the Gulf Collective, clearly. Nor for us. That means Israel in a way, but really BOTH Israel and Iran have been leveled, reduced to a level in the range of Oman. Iran drops 90%, Israel drops 50%. The combined Gulf can now take them. So Quo bono? Not us, not Israel, certainly not Iran. Not Europe. That leaves the Gulf. Who we publicly, officially, and famously are the military for since 1971. That’s what a “Petrodollar” is. I mean NOT saying we are acting on behalf of the Gulf States is the Conspiracy Theory here. That’s the consensus reality for 50 years, what gives?
15:22 Rich oligarchs are winning
14:12 Big Oil sees record profits
14:42 USA is losing the warSquare this circle. I mean, wtf? All the money flows are TO the United States and to the wealthy power blocs we always understood to be the United States. That means the U.S., which has routed the world’s money to themselves, is losing.
More money, happy American powers = Losing. Losing is when American Interests win. Got it.
If making more money than ever while your people are happy is losing, then we’ve definitely lost. If losing all your money and having it show up in the enemy’s checkbook is winning, then Iran definitely won. I don’t think that’s what those words mean, though.
Because all money has moved to the US and to these oligarchs is the reason they will lay down their lives to stop Trump, and naturally give back all these profits to Iran. This is why Trump and the U.S. are now in a very perilous situation, near to collapse, which always happens when billions of new money flood in to you and your friends.
If you’re saying this seems to imply the U.S. has probably won, it’s probably over an at its new stasis, then I agree. That’s what the Dialogue and timestamp above says, even as the speakers claim the opposite. I mean, don’t outsmart yourself: the winner is who took the money. Where the money flows re-routed. Not to who they were diverted from.

# **The Truth Hidden Behind GDP and Inflation for the New Workforce**
## **Concise Takeaway**
GDP growth and inflation statistics create the illusion of a healthy, expanding economy — but they hide a generational divide where baby boomers experienced real, compounding prosperity while new entrants face stagnation, declining purchasing power, and structurally weaker economic mobility.
—
## **1. The Baby Boomer Growth Window**
From roughly 1950–2000, boomers benefited from:
– High real GDP growth (3–5% annually)
– Low inflation volatility
– Rapid productivity expansion
– Strong wage–productivity linkage
– Affordable housing, education, and healthcare
– Stable long-term employment laddersThis created a **compounding prosperity effect**:
– Real wages rose
– Assets appreciated
– Debt was cheap
– Career ladders were predictable
– Savings accumulated meaningfully
Boomers entered an economy where **effort translated into upward mobility**.
—
## **2. The Post‑2000 Structural Shift**
After 2000, the economic engine changed:
– Productivity kept rising
– Wages stopped rising with it
– Inflation drifted into essential categories
– GDP growth slowed
– Asset inflation outpaced wage inflation
– Housing decoupled from income
– Education costs exploded
– Healthcare became a major household burdenThis created a **decoupling**:
– GDP grows
– Asset values grow
– Corporate profits grow
– But **individual prosperity does not grow**The headline numbers look fine — but the lived reality does not.
—
## **3. How Inflation Hides the Decline**
Inflation acts as a **fog machine**:
– Nominal wages rise → looks like progress
– Real wages stagnate → purchasing power falls
– GDP rises → looks like national growth
– Real household affordability collapses → hidden declineInflation allows policymakers and corporations to:
– Claim wage increases that are actually wage cuts
– Mask affordability crises
– Justify weaker benefits and unstable work
– Present economic stagnation as “growth”For new workers, inflation hides the fact that **their starting point is weaker than any generation since WWII**.
—
## **4. The New Workforce Reality**### **Lower Real Wages**
Even with “higher pay,” purchasing power is lower than 1990s or early‑2000s equivalents.### **Higher Mandatory Costs**
– Rent
– Food
– Transportation
– Insurance
– Education
– HealthcareThese rise faster than wages.
### **Weaker Career Ladders**
– Fewer mid-tier roles
– More contract/gig work
– Less employer loyalty
– More risk pushed onto workers### **Asset Imbalance**
Boomers bought homes at 2–3× income.
New workers face **8–12× income** ratios in many regions.### **Debt as a Starting Point**
Boomers started adulthood with low debt.
New workers often start with:
– Student loans
– High rent
– No savings
– No assets
—
## **5. Why GDP No Longer Reflects Prosperity**
GDP counts:
– Corporate profits
– Government spending
– Asset appreciation
– Financial sector expansionIt does **not** measure:
– Household affordability
– Wage–productivity alignment
– Generational mobility
– Real purchasing power
– Stability of work
– Quality of lifeGDP can rise while:
– Workers fall behind
– Housing becomes unattainable
– Savings collapse
– Debt rises
– Real wages stagnateThis is exactly what has happened.
—
## **6. The Generational Divide in One Sentence**
Baby boomers grew up in an economy where **growth was shared**.
New workers enter an economy where **growth is absorbed** — by assets, corporations, and inflation.
—
## **7. Key Takeaways**
– Headline economic metrics hide structural decline.
– Inflation masks real wage stagnation.
– GDP growth no longer reflects household prosperity.
– The new workforce begins from a weaker baseline than any post‑WWII generation.
– The generational divide is structural, not cyclical.
—## **8. Summary**
The new workforce is entering an economy fundamentally different from the one baby boomers grew into. GDP and inflation statistics obscure the reality: prosperity is no longer broadly shared, and the structural foundations of upward mobility have weakened. Understanding this divide is essential for interpreting modern economic signals and anticipating future workforce dynamics.

ParticipantAsk your AI …
What will happen with majority not getting a living wage?
Short answer:
When a majority of workers do not earn a living wage, the economy enters a predictable failure pattern: household instability → collapsing demand → rising debt → deteriorating health → political volatility → business contraction → long‑term structural decline.
This isn’t speculation — it’s exactly what current BC data already shows happening.
