There are two things (short of murdering them) that you simply can’ stop a human being from doing. You can’t make them stop having thoughts in their head, and you can’t make them stop trying to communicate those thoughts to others.
Unfortunately, acquiring total control over humans requires that one does BOTH.
The thing about control, you see, and the reason that I use the word “total” when I talk about it, is that by its very nature and essence, control is always subject to sudden and catastrophic failure until it is total.
To add spice and anxiety to that unavoidable characteristic is also the fact that the likelihood of catastrophic failure increases exponentially the closer one gets to totality This is because the necessary edifices and structures to enable and implement the control “totally” and completely become EXPONENTIALLY more complex along with it. Control REQUIRES both capability and execution of the directives that are given. You CAN’T skip that part, and so you CAN’T avoid the burgeoning complexity that comes with power and control.
Everything under the sun has been attempted to solve that problem, but so far none have worked.
