American’s only hope of saving their republic is EO #13848.

The courts will not lift a finger to save the republic. They are actively working to lend legal legitimacy and cover for ending the republic.

Neither of the uniparty’s two sides of the same coin, Democrats or Republicans will lift a finger to save the republic. They are both actively working to end the republic.

Playing by the rules will not save the republic.

Enemies of the republic are playing by the “end justifies the means” rule.

Only force by the US military can save the republic now.

    How fitting this photo is.

The Rio Grande emptying into the sea could also serve as a metafor for the last days of a dying republic.

I am reminded of JFK saying, before the CIA killed him, that the CIA should be broken into a thousand pieces and scattered by the wind.

If the US republic is to be saved, this must happen.

“Big Tech censored the Biden corruption story. The media called it Russian disinformation. All to protect Joe Biden in the election,” tweeted House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana), in a good distillation of the argument making the rounds. There’s just one tiny problem with it: so what?

They only care about power and control. The end justify the means—this ain’t CNNs fault

With the Hunter Biden cases increasingly making it through to the mainstream, it looks like the DNC is gearing up to cut old Joe loose.

“Media, Big Tech Hunter Biden Laptop Story Not A Bug, But A Feature (Malic)”

Boy, did this article resonate with me. What does it say about our system when one must go to RT in order to find out what’s actually going on? I’m reminded of the stories an old friend used to tell me about his life in communist Czechoslovakia, where people would have antennas hidden in their attics pointed toward western countries. They new that the party media organs only published lies, so they were forced to break the law and risk imprisonment in order to quench their thirst for knowledge. This is the slippery slope on which we find ourselves. Now that censorship is in full swing, laws outlawing dissent from the party line will follow close behind.

Does anyone here still have any illusions as to the efficacy of elections? I know I don’t. Neither do I have any faith in the legacy media. That was lost years ago, my faith in elections more recently.

“CBO: Medicare for All Could Cover Everyone for $650 Billion Less Per Year (CD)”

Medicare for all under the current profit-driven system would play out financially like the final scene from Thelma and Louise. Like everything else in this country, the incentives are misplaced. Every link in the chain would need to be restructured and the re-incentivized. Who is going to take that on? Who is going to volunteer to stop sucking on their personal money tit? Medical universities? Hospital cartels? Big Pharma? Big Agra? McDonalds? Pizza Hut? See the problem?

First they all bury the story, and now even NBC is after Hunter? ¿Qué pasa?

The original NY Post story was about extraordinary, blatant, corruption, illicit use of influence / power for staggering sums, by the ‘son of’ with the nod from the ‘Big Guy. (Joe Biden.) Banana Republics pale in comparison with their in-groupy money churning. The story included illegal and ugly looking (crack pipe) habitual drug use, as well as hints to put it mildly of inappropriate sexual behavior (not prostitutes etc. I prefer not to go there because it sends ppl hysterical.)

So now all this (the last was the most damaging and absolutely HAS to be covered up) will be reduced to tax evasion, not paying tax on what were bribes (sums lowered for sure) but will be passed off as ‘legit’ earnings (that is what one pays tax on, right?) and it will all drag on for a while and then Hunter will have to pay ‘back taxes’ plus ‘penalties’ or what not, not familiar with the US system.

So the Dems / Bidens will be able to argue that Hunter made some stupid financial errors (was at a bad time of his life, though his divorce can’t be mentioned either, it is hair-raising, the testimony I mean) anyone can make dumb mistakes and he will pay his dues … See! All the other accusations were baseless, ridiculous inventions by Trumpers, haters, racists!

That is the plan imho. Could it fail? Doubtful. Yet, Age of Uncertainty – volatility, startling events, etc.

WES, funny you should mention JFK and the CIA… I just started listening to an excellent podcast that has a five episode deep dive on that very topic. The podcast is called “Death Is Just Around the Corner,” I recommend it.

You will not find justice within the system we live in. Its been so perverted by those who now run it, you’ll just waste energy (which is becoming more and more valuable these days). As lies continue to run thinner and thinner, the grip on society will be tightened. The first tastes of censorship came after the 2016 election with propornot and so forth (the election of trump was them losing their grip). To avoid another four years of trump and worrying that all the wrong that has been done the past 40 years may come out, they’ve tightened their grip even more this year. How can someone be universally hated for something they haven’t done? While in Germany in 2016 for a wedding with a friend, my friend who went to the wedding (part of the PMC, wasn’t political at all, though thats changed now and not for the better) stated the wedding was terrible because all the Germans did the entire time was pester him about Trump and how we can not elect him. So co conspirators go world wide. We should thank Trump, for shining a light and forcing those who are forcing an agenda on us out into the light. We were suspicious for many years and those suspicions have been proven correct. Change will only come from outside the system.

The fraud still works, as we’ve seen this year. But it will continue to lose potency as time wears on, just like QE. Soon the fraud will be replaced with outright force, are you ready for that? Will you continue to believe what you believe even with threats of physical violence leveled against you?

Because the fraud loses potency, it must become larger and larger and more complicated with each new injection. Again, like QE. Do you see where i’m going with this line of thinking?

Every day when I read TAE and the comments, I am heartened to know that there are thinking people out there beyond my partner and I who are digging through media chaff to figure out what is *really* going on, and thoughtfully responding.

Today, I want to share something that I found uplifting — The City of Phoenix’s current Climate Action Plan. https://www.phoenix.gov/oep/climate

The US federal government is largely ignoring climate issues. Cities grapple with it “on the ground.” It gives me hope to live in a city that is pledging to uphold the Paris Climate Accords, and making plans to do so. The plans are practical — and even for those who doubt man-made climate change — and wise. Yes, we need to manage the city’s waste, we need to manage water use and sourcing, increasing electric trains will also ease road congestion, and adding tree canopies will help reduce “the urban heat island effect” that plagues the city. Switching to LED bulbs for street lamps isn’t just “more green” — it is saving the city money by reducing it’s electrical bill.

Is the plan comprehensive enough to meet climate goals in 2050? Oh, probably not. More goals will need to be made — and, more importantly, met. Today, it is heartening to know that instead of putting their collective heads in the sand, the people in my city’s government are at least looking up and forward and addressing the problem.

Perfect, no. Practical? Yes. It is a reasonable starting place.

Funny how Brexit has almost run as long as the Trump administration. Wonder if they’ll just cancel that too. Remember all those articles our “betters” were printing after Trump and Brexit about how democracy may not be that great. They always leave you little bread crumbs, devious really, because if you put them together and try to tell people, you just crazy.

    @Maxwell Quest

    Agreed on elections and media.
I’ve been dragging myself, kicking and screaming like a little boy, to this acceptance. The judicial system’s refusal to look at the evidence (see Sydney Powell’s attachments) in an open and impartial manner is the last straw. Truth, whatever it is concerning the election, lost to Power. Getting Trump out of the White House was more important than investigating and salvaging the integrity of our elections, the cornerstone of a democracy.
I do not think we will come back from this; it is our turn to slide from a civil democracy to strong arm rule. Increasing censorship is obvious and inevitable. Artists and progressives will be driven underground. Mr. House said, “Change will only come from outside the system.” I agree.
Phoenix Voice lists helpful changes under way in her city. Excellent. Local positive change is still possible (and may well outlive the systemic crash ahead). This is where we should focus. There isn’t much point in trying to change the big picture. Anyone who threatens radical change will be eliminated. Ask Julian Assange.
My advice is to keep your head down, think small, work toward practical achievements, tell the truth, and ride out the upheavals. It will be difficult, but we can share the trip. Thanks to all commenters!

Hunter Biden subpoena seeks info on Burisma, other entities
By MICHAEL BALSAMO and ERIC TUCKER
During the election, of course, Hunter was completely off limits – with a virtual press blackout on the subject, and President Trump receiving a sharp rebuke from debate moderator Chris Wallace for bringing it up.

A subpoena seeking documents from Hunter Biden asked for information related to more than two dozen entities, including Ukraine gas company Burisma, according to a person familiar with a Justice Department tax investigation of President-elect Joe Biden’s son.

The breadth of the subpoena, issued Tuesday, underscores the wide-angle lens prosecutors are taking as they examine the younger Biden’s finances and international business ventures.

Hunter Biden’s ties to Burisma in particular have long dogged the policy work and political aspirations of his father, Joe Biden, now the president-elect of the United States. It’s unclear whether Hunter Biden’s work at the Ukrainian company is a central part of the federal investigation or whether prosecutors are simply seeking information about all his sources of income in recent years.

We’re sure Kamala Harris is genuinely concerned over the outcome of this investigation and hopes it doesn’t result in Joe Biden’s unceremonious exit from the teleprompter scene.

Well said. I’ve spent a lot of time and energy for over a dozen years or so trying to make sense of the world. Attempting to understand national policies, globalism, alliances, propaganda, social control systems, money flows, etc.

But at the same time, I’ve also put just as much energy into building community, getting to know neighbors, volunteering, healing family relationships, building friendships, etc. Like you, knowing that there was little I could do to influence big picture issues, other than free myself from their illusions and control as much as possible, but at the local level I could have an immediate and meaningful impact on the health and happiness of individuals in my little circle. I believe that even the Buddhists teach that there is no need to venture to the other side of the globe when there is work to do right in your own home and in your own neighborhood.

    PhoenixVoice,

Yes, it’s not enough but at least that city is having a go and apparently making some progress towards their goals. If all cities did something similar, it may at least buy us some time to come up with a more effective plan.

We really need to figure out a completely different way of living that doesn’t rely on the rape of nature. Phoenix’s plan is a very long way from that but at least a start.

    Good Riddance 2020.

It must be reemphasized that the neo-feudal Western nations sole purpose is the facilitation of increased corporate profits not the protection of their citizens lives. Neoliberalism and globalization make a planned effective response to the coronavirus pandemic impossible; in particular in the USA, UK, Belgium and Sweden. Only Asian and South Pacific nations with functional governments and public health systems are controlling the virus.

After oligarchs re-seized power in the 1980 Reagan/Thatcher revolt, state institutions were closed to cut taxes and community and charity hospitals were turned into profit centers. Closing borders to international flights became impossible. A conscious Presidential decision was made to ignore CDC and pass authority to 50 states even though continuous transmission of the Wuhan coronavirus was observed within the USA.

Testing is a debacle. Public Health principals are ignored. Haphazard and half-ass lockdowns were implemented by localities to keep their hospitals from overflowing with COVID-19 patients. Now it is too late and triage is being implemented in the third wave hot spots. Small businesses shut down, but there is no plan to fight the virus except with for-profit vaccines that may or may not work. Intentionally, billionaires got wealthier. The Dow Jones passed 30,000.

The Supreme Court has decided, Joe Biden will be the 46th President. The Status Quo won. Dr. Anthony Fauci is responsible for the failed HIV and Coronavirus government responses but he wasn’t fired but selected to be the new President’s Medical Advisor. He is doing exactly what the health and insurance industry want; extracting more money from patients, not curing them. Continued negligence is built in. In a failed nation; the losers, the starving, the evicted, the families with sick and dead, are being given only one recourse; “Liberty or Death”.
