On Thursday I came down with what seems to be a mild cold. What is strange about this cold is there was no preceeding sore throat or the normal 24 hour period when you know you are coming down with a cold. I was sneezing a lot though but then it was windy outside and I have allergies, so I put it down to the wind.

About the only symptoms were a runny nose and sneezing a lot. Even the first night my nose wasn’t really stuffed up very much.

I haven’t had a cold for about 2 years which is not the norm. I usually get a cold every year without fail.

I have since noticed that amoung the omicron symptoms, a runny nose is the first thing listed, then sneezing, then a headache which I haven’t had. I forget the other symptoms listed. I have had no difficulty breathing. I am not feeling any worst as the days go by.

I do have some horse sense, you know the stuff tinker bell won’t let you twitter about, but at the moment don’t seem to need it as I really don’t feel too bad. As colds go, I can hardly call this a real cold. My taste buds seem fine. Chocolate taste like chocolate!

Maybe I am bit flat but then I am avoiding the rest of my family as I don’t want to give whatever I have to them.

I have been doing the all stuff the Canadian and American Medical Associations say not to do. Like vitamins 1,500 C and 5,000 D3, 25mg zinc, 250mg quercetin plus lecithin, every day, for quite a while so my vitamin D3 levels should be good.

So I am kind of now wondering if I have omicron?

Ontario’s covid cases continue their expendential rise hitting 4,100 up from 3,800 yesterday.
The spike is likely been driven by an increase in testing due to the escalating fear porn.
Deaths are not up, trending slowly down like everywhere else.
    Hospitals are not full.
Political bullsh*t levels are definately up big though.

I have concluded here in Canada, all of our political parties, both provincial and federal, have all been bought by Pfizer and company. Not one political party even slightly opposes mandatory vaccine mandates.

The Canadian Medical Association, and all of Canada’s public health officials, and universities are corrupted too. Canadian universities were very quick to fire any professors who questioned the narrative.

    Today’s Associated Proglodye (AP) pablum:

Nation’s top infectious disease expert says omicron variant is ‘just raging around the world’

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s leading infectious disease expert, told NBC’s “Meet the Press” that “the real problem” for the U.S. hospital system is that “we have so many people in this country who are eligible to be vaccinated who have not yet been vaccinated.”

WES- here in my neck of the woods they use some stripes on the road whenever it’s going to snow. I don’t know what that stuff is, but it gives me sinus problems, a raspy voice, and a general feeling of illness. It’s proprietary so I can’t find out what’s in it. Does your area use the stuff?
It’s interesting. Nobody caught a cold these last many months- then when they finally did, it was followed by a serious disease.

Improve your odds of getting a mild case of Omicron, just like South Africa.

    1. • South Africa Hospitalization Rate Falls 91% in Omicron Wave (BBG)
    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-12-17/s-africa-says-hospitalizations-in-omicron-wave-much-lower

South Africa country’s population is young

Between 70% and 80% of citizens may also have had a prior Covid-19 infection

(does having a strong immune system count)
( does not being overweight count)
(does not having high blood pressure count)
    (does not having cholesterol help)

    Improve your odds of survival:

    1. • Do NOT trust evil scientists, doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nurse assistants & generally any other over-educated moron who thinks they’re a medical “expert”, treat EVERY word as a lie ~ They’re ALL mercenaries if they’re pushing the Scienz.

My nephew has invited us for Christmas. My sister was going to but my brother in law is “Immunocompromised” and we are “unconscionable” for refusing therapeutics.
We are going to bring my nephew a box labeled “schroedinger’s cat”.
He will, I think, appreciate it.

Abbe does it again, this time in front of policy makers.

Lest we forget, weakness invites provocations,” Abe told the trilateral security forum. “The three of us must stop no effort in building our capabilities in all domains, from the undersea, sea surface, air space, to the cyber and outer space. To that end, let us consider new ways of sharing our knowledge and technologies even more effectively.

    Affirmation from the US:
Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s representative to the forum, deputy assistant secretary Scott Busby, struck a similarly affirming note after touting the importance of “democracy and human rights” to American diplomacy.
“These values are a critical source of our strength, and a key advantage of the United States and our closest partners on the global stage — including Taiwan,” Busby told the trilateral forum.

I wonder where South Korea is on all this nonsense, after all, they have North Korea as a PLA buffer. And I just wonder what Kim would think of hordes of PLA short cutting through NK to get to the SK border? He just might flip. Marines landing at Pyongyang showered by flowers and cheers from the locals. Fancy that thought.

Well, I attended the church social.
    Kind of.

I felt more and more apprehensive on the way there. It is one thing to think about disobeying the social mores of one’s own community…it is quite different to actually violate them.

I approached the group — maybe 25 people, all with masks so securely covering their faces that it was kind of difficult to immediately recognize people, although they all looked vaguely familiar.

I walked near the area of the park that was surrounded by set up tables. The first person who approached me was a woman who had been in the choir with me, lives at the local retirement community, who had attended the Zoom class I’d taught about musicals. I’ve chatted with her outdoors at the retirement community before and I know that she doesn’t usually wear a mask outdoors. The conversation began, but was then interrupted, by the minister.

The minister immediately came up to me, as soon as she noticed me, offering me a mask. I declined. She was adamant — I couldn’t be there without a mask. “We” had agreed that it would be a mask-only event. (Hunh? Who is “we” — because it certainly didn’t include me.) She said that a couple of people had told her they would only come if everyone else was masked and she had promised them that everyone would be masked. (Hello? You are now believing that you can control the behavior of everyone who attends? WTF?)

“So I’m not welcome here?” — Oh, she assured me I was welcome, but had to wear a mask. I pointed out — how can you control who is here when this is a public park? The discussion approached becoming heated — but I hadn’t planned to stay long anyhow, I had a family dinner to attend. No, I didn’t want any cookies. No, I don’t have any interest in a bag of oranges. (I had wanted to socialize with the people that I had socialized with since 2014.)

I handed the minister my choir music — I needed to turn it in anyhow. I handed her a bag of shoes, as there was a clothing collection “for asylum seekers.”

I turned back to the woman who had been in choir with me, she continued the conversation where it had been interrupted — explaining that she had missed the last few classes due to going out of town, etc. The conversation could have continued from there — she said she’d like to chat more but looked in the direction of the set up tables. I pointed to some park picnic tables a short ways away, told her we could chat more over there.

“No,” she said,”I came for this,” and looked in the direction of the tables.

“Well, let me know then,” I replied.

She won’t call me. That is the nice part about having a “social group” — a church, school, rotary group, club, etc. — you go to the meetings and then socialize with the people there, making connections there. Once you are already there, the socialization is nearly effortless. Actually making plans with people — that takes greater effort.

And I left…with very mixed emotions. I didn’t let them get away with silent acquiescence — I showed up. I forced the minister to explain that my bare face was not tolerated.

The minister believes that she was in the right. She acknowledged that I also believed that I was in the right. But no one was willing to crossover and join me. I hope that I caused some discomfort.

I feel “excommunicated.” Because I was. No bare faces allowed!

    Just in;

More than 620 fully vaccinated residents in Oregon have died of COVID-19, many of whom are White Americans, according to state data.

As of Thursday, health officials in Oregon reported a total of 622 breakthrough COVID-19 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. Of the total number of deaths among the fully vaccinated, at least 64% or 402 were White Americans.

In comparison, only 13 Black people, 14 Asians, 1 7 American Indian or Alaska Native and 1 Pacific Islander who were vaccinated against COVID-19 died of the virus, data from the Oregon Health Authority showed.

    …but the “vaccines” work…

    ——————-

You think? Have a listen to about first 9 minutes of T2 interview ( taped on Friday, I believe).

Omicron, Omicron, … blah, blah, blah! Greta-like performance according to my wife!

“Omicron doesn’t care if we’re tired of restrictions,” … “It’s going to keep doing what it does anyway.

“We have a choice, because we’ve seen it so many times. If we act early and carefully to hold back, to starve Omicron, if we over the next two weeks don’t feed it, don’t give it opportunities to spread more than it has to, we’ll have a much better winter and a way better spring.”

Trudeau says he believes that, despite widespread pandemic fatigue, Canadians will do what it takes to control the spread of Omicron because they are now “empowered with knowledge.”

In my circle there are several families with young kids who are walking away from very decent jobs over vax requirements and refusing to vax their kids. There is in some cases family division over vax status. It is interesting to see this group change in behaviour- these folks don’t know how they will make ends meet but they are cutting their ties to the status quo. Really something to see.
Overall my social world has become dominated by unvaxed and “I don’t care if you are vaxed or not” folks.

Can’t vouch for the accuracy of this, as I can’t seem to find it with a search anywhere except social media, but looks like the vampire squid Goldman Sachs got hit by an outbreak. My spidey sense tells me that MSM will classify it as an Omicron outbreak.

Denninger seems to believe it’s due to VEI along with mask usage, which is certainly possible.

So glad I left, used to be around a lot of Goldman people after work in the restaurants, movie theater etc.

Always was conscious of the possibility of catching just about anything in NYC, it happens a lot more than people out of the region realize.

Should be a real blast in the near future:

A> Half the population with immune dysfunction at some level.

B> Hordes of illegal immigrants, of questionable/unknown backgrounds, bringing all their special goodies with them.

The first thing I do before eating at a new restaurant is observe the kitchen for a few minutes, 8 out of 10 times I’d pass…

I’m sure most of you know, don’t you, that there have been numerous hepatitis outbreaks spread traced to various food services. Quite a few people have died accordingly the last couple of decades, although you’ll never here a truth like that from any apparatchiks’ mouth 😐

Oh well, gotta break a few eggs & all that jazz…

Thought this solstice party invitation might cause a few laughs:

    Happy Solstice!
Yes, even though we find ourselves in a second year of Pandemic Holidays, the sun will still come back and we still want to celebrate the changing of the year. Doing this safely is going to be tricky, but we have a plan!
    2021 ——— Solstice Celebration!
    Bring:
    -Your Mask
-Your wonderful self and/or your pod
-Your respect for consent and safety needs
    -A touch of patience
    How to:
-Plan to spend 20 minutes at ———-
-Our yard will be open between 4 and 9 pm on December 21st
-You will find a series of stations and activities to explore and some goodies and gifts just for you!
-Join us on zoom at 9:30 pm for the fire!!!!!!! (link to follow)
To Make This Work We Need You:
-to only come into the yard once the previous pod has left (you may have varying levels of comfort, but for our yard we are asking one pod at a time)
-stay masked, with your mask properly fit, covering all the appropriate bits
-keep your time to 20 minutes so others may come through

Sounds like kabuki theatre to me.
The party throwers are having private “audiences” with party attendees.

Fuck churches in their big fat hairy pulpits. This is not a diss against ‘organized religion’; that’s another topic. This is a diss against people pretending to come together in the name of open confession and spiritual rebirth while basically doing the Same Old Shit they did in high school or at the workplace. Pecking order, go along to get along, and always always always Cover Your Own Ass first, last, forever and ever amen.
