Oh well, no big deal; nice little venture…If you weren’t following the timing, Russia pulls (more) gold from London, and since the stolen Ukrainian and Libyan gold are gone, London can’t make delivery, they suddenly discover they need to take over Venezuela! Very 1st order? London says they won’t give Venezuela their gold. As the custodian. Remember this last year with stealing fortunes of Russian oligarchs, etc? Tell me, how’s your business as a major financial center if you break your word, and the law, AND seem to suggest that the assets and gold you pretend to have are all missing, and only the popular people that we like can make withdrawals? …All the others need to make a case in triplicate asking permission to own their assets, and to wait two years for delivery like Germany did, while we make France attack a small gold-producing African country to get the bars. I mean, this is so bad even normal people may begin to see it.
But hey, Guido (aka ‘drone’) went to school in Georgetown, that hub of Deep State alma maters, and he told us he was Venezuelan, so apparently he’s the new President. …Without elections, without process, without military, without anything except treason (as he is conspiring with hostile foreign agents to violently overthrow his government), because apparently going to Georgetown makes you a President now.

Cold proves a disaster for EV’s, as expected. Teslas lose 25mi range keeping their batteries from collapsing overnight. Then they lose 10mi range keeping the cabin warm while driving. So sure, they may be adequate for southern regions – if expensive and causing environmental horror in lithium and the nuke/coal plants that run them – but in no way are good for any northern region, a large swath of population in the U.S. This is more than inconvenience too, as IF the battery freezes, it MAY be damaged and ‘explosive’, and must be replaced. That means having a dead battery – let’s say you work overnights and can’t plug in – will be a $10,000 (?) charge, plus your car is inoperable: no jump starts. Getting a new battery manufactured for you every time something fails is super environmental! It’s good for GDP! #Winning!

The US president announced that Washington will initiate the process of withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty on 2 February and suspend all obligations under the accord. Moscow slammed the US actions, noting that it has failed to present evidence that prove Russian violations of the accord.
US President Donald Trump said that he hopes to negotiate a new accord to replace the INF Treaty, which would be “much better” and include more parties. He noted that the new accord should be adhered to by all signatories to it, not just the US.
“I hope that we are able to get everybody in a very big and beautiful room and get new treaty that would be much better,” Trump said.

I find this one interesting.It’s nostalgia for the 1950s and 60s before the Vietnam quagmire and before “Made in the USA” was slowly and deliberately dismantled. What’s left are tens of trillions of national debt; a quadrillion in derivatives; the Deep State running amok; and a lot of pumped up fear of evil Russians, devious Chinese, Persian mullahs, the troika of tyranny, the Belt and Road, Huawei, and illegal aliens.

Looks like it could represent Janus, the two-faced god of the morning, looking both to the future and the past.
In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus is the god of beginnings, gates, transitions, time, duality, doorways, passages, and endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the future and to the past.
Janus presided over the beginning and ending of conflict, and hence war and peace.
As a god of transitions, he had functions pertaining to birth and to journeys and exchange
Morning belonged to Janus: men started their daily activities and business. Horace calls him Matutine Pater, morning father. G. Dumézil believes this custom is at the origin of the learned interpretations of Janus as a solar deity.
The ‘Chinese were white’ article was almost offendingly idiotic. Asians are not particularly yellow. So what? Whites are not particularly white. You might call them pink. Blacks are not very black.
Oooh, goes the author. This is the hate-mongering of twisted racist ‘white’ minds. No it is not. Chinese, Europeans, Africans are visibly different, physically and instantly recognizable as such. Walk as a European in an Asian or African town or village, and kids (and adults) will stare at you and your weird, strange unusual skin and hair and face. You need a word to describe that body type. You could call it asian. You could call it swyziglik. Usage settled on ‘Yellow’. So what? What freaking difference does it make?
‘Whites’ get called all sorts of names by all sorts of people. ‘Ghosts’, toubabs, palefaces. Jimminy Cricket! There are names in all sorts of languages throughout the world for designating people of a different race? What is the world coming to?
