American men working? There oughta be a law.

Ouch, I wish the description of the DNC lineup wasn’t true. 1. Get a good candidate that helps the working people. 2. Elect them in, even if it takes a cycle or two. Why is this so far away? Why does it seem to be getting further? Much as Bloomberg isn’t your man, he’s capable of running ads that will win the party in proper form.

Much as I oppose almost all bans, and much as the problem is not enforcing them within 100 miles of fairly, ZH was banned for 1. Publishing, or perhaps put better, highlighting, advertising, a person’s home address. Bad form, sir. It encourages trouble. Just like you did, if anyone wants it, people can do a lick of work and find it. But worse, 2. Then openly encouraging readers, people, to call that person, which while not harassment is unhelpful and wastes the time of a valuable guy while accomplishing nothing. This is where they went over the line.

That said, CNN and others do this constantly, getting fork-lift drivers and others fired, even while telling lies about them, with no repercussions, ever. Still waiting for them to get banned from Twitter, as with Maddow making up stories that will get us nuked, and just yesterday blaming 4Chan for Iowa. (How?) Calling Kung-flu bioweapon a “conspiracy theory” at the same time several experts on bioweapons definitively said it is. So reporters can’t report world experts now, but CAN report that Russia has hacked Vermont and is shutting off the heat in Minnesota? “Rules for thee but not for me.” #AntiLogos.

…That’s with the further problem of a “lifetime” ban…and with no due process offered, allowed, or appealed, ever. So basically if you say something that’s slightly off, a thing that others (my pals) do regularly, Twitter does a drive-by shooting and execution without warning. Raise your hand if that’s the kind of country you want to live in! Next, muh private company, Chevron, Amazon, Verizon, and CitiBank will do the same, erasing your account while you’re pumping gas, so you can’t get to work, and you can’t call to protest. As planned and admitted by them, as a plan for Neofeudalism and 1984, for some 70 years. Don’t get started.

But no, ZH, this was not the hill to die on. You knew they were out there waiting for the smallest offsides.

“Twitter Accounts Of Facebook, Messenger Hacked (R.)”

I generally don’t believe a word. The minute they get your medical records and want to release them to the next guy to track and extort you, there’s a “hack”, then Oops! some bad guy has them, forever. The second some money’s missing, especially in cryptos, there’s a “hack”. Whenever something embarrassing happens, like the wrong guy wins and we want a do-over, there’s a “hack”. …Sure pal, there’s a hack when you had the system admin change the password to “Password”, then called your pal China, Soros, Alphabet, -insert hacker here- on the phone and told him to try. Then it’s all just a big accident! Like always and ever. 5,000 accidents in a row that all just go one way, and nobody’s ever mad and nothing ever happens to close the gap. Sure pal, sure. And when we sue, there’s no damages, because the government isn’t involved and isn’t running cover for you, the way they fine only 10% of the criminal fraud in Fargo, and split the stolen loot, with government as the junior partner, the controlled, not the master. Sure.

“Sondland Axed Hours after Vindman Twins Escorted out of White House (ZH)”

Wow, you mean the boss CAN fired his employees? What about #Oppositeland? You know what polls of the population say: fire them all, then fire half of the replacements you hired, then fire yourself and leave us alone. That’s what “collapse” means, decentralization, and I’m all for it.

Great photo; in your face reality of the “working man”; the legend of yore…
    The bullshit of yore…

3rd shift; also commonly known as the graveyard shift
Aptly named; I worked it once, buying beer after shift, at 7am to take home and drink and hopefully go to sleep; mostly not (sleeping)…
Waking up at noon or 1pm…
Day completely fucked up and out of step with the rest of the world…
A sure road to a life of ill health and social isolation…
    Early death almost assured…

The State of the American Debt Slaves, Q4 2019

The State of the American Debt Slaves, Q4 2019
    by Wolf Richter • Feb 7, 2020

…. $187 billion in additional debt, the US economy would not have grown 2.3% in 2019, but only about 1.8%. This is why economists from the Fed on down want policies that encourage consumers to spend money they don’t have. It’s the American thing to do. And if there’s a hiccup down the road, so be it. And now there are some hiccups.

…. there is another group of Americans, (+60%), where every month is a mad scramble to make ends meet. Some earn good money but live above their means. Others are scraping by every month on low incomes. Both are up to their ears in debt. They’re one or two paychecks away from defaulting on that debt. That’s where the debt burden is, and that’s where the risks are.
The problem is in consumer credit. And the big force behind the surge of consumer credit to 19.3% of GDP aren’t credit cards, as we will see in a moment, but auto loans and particularly student loans.

…. the 3.5% year-over-year increase in auto loan balances occurred despite a 1.2% decline in new-vehicle unit sales.

….. student loans have soared from 4.6% of GDP in Q4 2008, to 7.6% of GDP now. This has occurred despite an 11% drop in student enrollment since 2011

But at the top, 7% of federal student loan borrowers owed over $100,000 each, and these were primarily borrowers with one or more graduate degrees. And that small group of 7% of all borrowers owed $500 billion.

The most educated population of la-la-land does not know what its like to live with no income, and not have a car. (being poor).Yet, they will be the ones with power to decide how our social/economic will operate.
There exist a third group of people that will be among the elites: (sheeesh, don’t talk about them), the children of the rich/powerfull/connected, who got into university and given jobs even though they are not qualified.

    Dumb question
    Situation
Patient who was sick with coronavirus recovered.
The patient is release from hospital and goes home.

    Did the coronavirus die?
Is the patient still able to contaminate and spread the coronavirus?

Don’t forget, they are saying that you can get the coronavirus more than once.

Would a vaccine, which would contain a “weak” coronavirus, if it was equivalent to the second time you got the coronavirus infection, kill you?

Long work day yesterday , Amigos, and I’m down in Yoakum to work on the homestead and bigger vegetable garden today. If I have to lie somewhere and live or die, I kind of feel like I’d prefer it here, though I have veggie gardens in both places. In the old days people would rest with supportive care until they lived or died.

There is actually something known as “Set” American foreign policy. It is formulated by a group within the State Department called the Policy Planning Staff currently consisting of about 25 people with a variety of types of expertise. It “sets” the course for functionaries within the State Department. A President may be an ultimate authority but the notion that he can’t go against what is “set” policy consensus in motion within the State Department because he is the ultimate authority is a canard designed to obfuscate the reality of the situation being testified to in the impeachment hearings. No one person has all the facts or expertise to decide what is the most prudent policy which is why they have a policy staff. And our current ding dong in chief certainly falls into that category. Vindictive….clearly!

    WEAPONISING

Perhaps 20 years ago I read an article in New Scientist about a South American fly. Its’ flesh eating maggots preyed on live animals, The US had a successful campaign to eradicate it from the wild, and the only remaining flies were held by the CIA. Then they appeared in Libya!

This shocked and horrified me and since then I have been wary about what the US would do if it felt justified [and they ALWAYS feels justified!].

In recent times the story has surfaced about a US lab weaponising Lymes disease by infecting tics [a long time ago]. They released some tics on the island where the lab was, not thinking that tics could hitch a ride on birds. The number of infections in the US is still rising.

To try and justify a war against Iraq someone made anthrax attacks against Americans. They knew Iraq had anthrax because as an ally the US had gifted it to them [and Pakistan]. The FBI realised it was a highly weaponised version which was only found in US labs,

In a US biowarfare lab a researcher was killed by the Ebola virus she was working on. Restrictions were made on the labs in the US so they created biowarfare labs in other countries. What have these labs done with their time?

More recently there has been a lot of concern that the US military are looking at the techniques to develop diseases which attack a specific genetic type. The Russians were suspicious when the US were keen to obtain samples of Russian blood.

The US has a long history of weaponising diseases, and one key thing would be to ensure human to human transmission if it did not have that capability.

It is hardly suspicious that the Chinese have a lab to study viruses given their problems with them, but this is a far cry from weaponising them. Why would the Chinese even want to do that? The disease was associated with the fish market before it was realised how serious it was, If it was weaponised I would say it was not by the Chinese.

Modern Supply vs Demand in la-la-land
    https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/next-minsky-moment-inevitable
As noted above, “Minsky Moment” crises occur because investors, engaging in excessively aggressive speculation, take on additional credit risk during prosperous times, or bull markets. The longer a bull market lasts, the more investors borrow to try and capitalize on market moves.

But the biggest denial campaign is aimed at masking the fragility of the global economy, as the only thing keeping the rickety, speculative-bubble, insolvent global economy from imploding is the belief and confidence of the masses that everything is going swimmingly, so keep on borrowing, borrowing, borrowing, buying, buying, buying and speculating, speculating, speculating.

It is nice to see that someone is concerned about the health of debt slaves.

Obviously that someone would be the debt slave’s owners!

Are the debt slaves capable of carrying more of their owner’s debt?

If interest rates are lowered, yes!

So what are we waiting for?

Interesting that the Brazilian government is looking for some loose change from the tobacco companies.

Tobacco is the gift natives bestowed upon white man in return for small pox!

Small pox killed a few million natives but tobacco is still killing tens of millions of white people every year!

I would say the natives loss the first battle but are winning this biological warfare war hands down!

If the CCP can no longer hide the coronavirus then obviously renaming it as benign NCP is just the ticket!

This should solve the problem very nicely! The WHO will second the motion!

Now they can truthfully say everyone is just dying of pneumonia!

Brilliant! Why didn’t I think of this?

Look! Is there no proof of wrong doing
I let you read and make up your mind.
    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/its-time-ask-again-what-really-happened-ukraines-missing-gold
” there are many unanswered questions that emerged back in 2014, some from following the money both in and out of Ukraine, and some from following the country’s gold, much of which was put on board a plane headed to the US in one cold, wintry night in March 2014, never to come back again.”

In other words, the clip confirmed that the US was masterminding the entire “Euromaidan” process all along and deciding who should be in Ukraine’s next government. In short: what happened in Ukraine in February 2014 was another CIA-staged presidential coup. Finally, it was also the time that Biden became the Obama administration’s “point person” for the country.

On April 16, 2014, shortly after the February 2014 Ukrainian revolution which culminated with the overthrow of democratically-elected president Yanukovich, Biden met with Devon Archer, a former star fundraiser for John Kerry’s 2004 presidential run and business partner in Rosemont Capital with Biden’s son Hunter. (Federal agents would later arrest Archer in May 2016 for defrauding a Native American tribe.)

For something a little more useful, the hand-maintenance of drainage and canals.

What strikes me in these is the amount of time it takes to build the pattern-language. First the goal, then the tools, then the infrastructure, then the skills. A second later, we erase it all with tractors and become idiots, slaves to the machine. Something Ruskin and Morris said, although they’re just popular — it was said going back to the 18th century that machines would destroy lives, skills, and more importantly, quality, which is what the Luddites were really fighting against. Not machines or progress exactly.

This is similar to the successful Amish, who people misunderstand are against technology: they’re not. They use rubber, kero, motors, and now solar on their buggy lights. What they’re against is the ruination of their community, and part of that — perhaps the main part — is to hand both the skills out of your community, out of your control, but also the wealth, the money to centralized, concentrated centers, be it Andrew Carnegie or to Wal-Mart or Wall Street. If you do that, you are a slave, and they will extract your community to penury, destroying your culture. But everyone else, apparently they like that sort of thing and can’t import WalMart and Amazon and cede their power into slavery for luxury goods fast enough. Then wonder why everyone’s on opioids and what went wrong. We went to the WalMart planning committee, we told you what went wrong. You didn’t care then and don’t believe it now that exactly what we predicted has happened. Then tomorrow do it all over again twice as hard for a handful of glass beads.

So how long does it take to re-instate the pattern language to dig canals or cut hay by hand? Probably less time than you think under the right conditions, but that middle period to return to it is not to be desired.
