“• Ukraine Not Yet In Strong Enough Position For Negotiations: NATO Chief (ZH)
    How about in ten years?

God, I hope so. In ten years neither Europe nor NATO will exist.

“US President-elect Donald Trump does not consider the Ukraine conflict a key priority for America’s national interests, according to Bloomberg,”

No, it’s a key priority of EUROPEAN interests, and if they can direct the idiot-monster that is the U.S. to beat them up on the playground on their behalf. Make me.

“the Homeland Security Group, which claims to focus on “the highest harm risks to the homeland, whether from terrorists, state actors, or cyber and economic criminals.”

What if those foreign terrorists, state actors, and criminals had a plan to capture and mass-rape 12 year old girls? Would that be something you’d try to stop?

“the 12-year-old who was driven at night to a Yorkshire wood where she was forced to give oral sex to at least 10 men … before being left alone in the dark.”

Even as I call myself a saucy character who dgaf, and as an American only tell the true as raw as I can to break though your barricades so you’ll pay attention, there’s a reason I haven’t gone into this scandal in specific. That’s because if you read the records, this is a GOOD case, with a HAPPY ending, one that you can read, in a paper, without having nightmares all your life about. Maybe that’s a bad thing, maybe we SHOULD iterate each and every story, tell them in the town square at 9am each day like the Chilean women dancing the Cueca in public over the disappearance of their men. (Naturally America is involved and responsible for this. If there’s a call, America is there.)

However, for my own mental health I am NOT, at the present time, going to read all these to you. Just as Alexander Mercouris said the same. Let’s just add one visual: after meeting up with their same-age boyfriend and finding themselves in this situation of 20 adult men, and attempt to resist are doused in gasoline while one of the culturally-sensitive church father stands nearby with a match. Saying they are the master race. So I wonder if you get discounted ticket sales for the Muslim crowds for a gas-free victim, or whether it’s more like, first-come, first serve.

Again, even that is the GOOD stories. Ones I expect will NOT give you harmful nightmares. These are the men Starmer, the entire UK, the entire EU, and the entire UN government, are protecting with their very lives. Is fire-bombing Whitehall really too good for them? I’ll let you decide.

But I totally agree and see their point of view: since this is just a charming night out, they won’t mind a whit if I douse THEM in gasoline, and stand by with a match, will they? This is a voluntary thing, and not a crime worth prosecuting at all, so we can line them up and help them get the full cultural experience they find so pleasing for Britons to share.

“not part of any domestic water system design.” There needs to be “some new thinking about how systems are designed,”

Yes, and that would be Newsom’s and Mayor’s job. They were told for decades by the fire groups, and did the Opposite. Soooo…you’re saying you ARE totally responsible, right Gavin? That’s what I’m hearing. That’s aside from knowing there are reservoirs empty for no reason, and you let all the water into the sea before filling them. That’s just the Level 1 Lie. I was addressing your Level 2 lie.

Again, you told us all California was burning, Global Warming would put it out of control and you 1) Increased all these responses and bankrupted CA or 2) Cut all these responses in half and STILL bankrupted CA. Yeah, #2, where’s my money, Gavin? Where is it?

“• LA Fires Worse Than Nuclear Strike – Trump (RT)

WWIII, the Revolution will be televised. But it will be lied about. We already pointed out that most U.S. cities were more annihilated by Socialism than Nagasaki was by the atomic bomb. Everyone yawned. That was Detroit in the Good Old Days, we’re going level II now, direct kinetic attacks.

Sure the wildfires are dramatic (and I take yet another L for making fun of them) but they’re nothing compared to the devastation Nationwide. We’re killing 100k/year in ONE DRUG alone. We only DISPLACED 150k live people in L.A. who can carry on. They’re also homes, so no offense, it’s not a factory, port, critical bridge, etc, which we are destroying in record numbers. Homes are the easiest structure to rebuild. Hopefully with a little fire protection, since everyone’s known for 5,000 years that these are wildfire areas. Somehow…for 4,990 years up until Newsom, they knew how to fix this and keep it working correctly? But I guess aliens landed or something and the physics of fire works differently now.

Translation: Everybody told you. Everybody. You had them all arrested so you could proceed with this plan. Or should we go read the record of city meetings and the public and what happened to all the people who spoke out last 30 years?

“t’s the greatest show on earth – unleashing a double bill of New Paradigm and Manifest Destiny on crack.

I wouldn’t worry, all of this will be turned back shortly. Unable to be supported. No Empire can project out when it’s rotted within. The point here is to snap enough resources to weather the short-term. Pretty sure they know that.

“• Judge Threatens To Break UK Wall Of Secrecy In Assange Persecution (Cook)

Clearly Starmer does what he’s told, so who’s telling him? That’s the only thing I want. It’s not credible this is happening without a level higher up, same as the Coof cannot be synchronized worldwide hour by hour with no one involved. We all know there’s a level up there. Name them.

Thanks to your lack of self-promotion and stonewalling of everyone who does, you are not in running for these positions, nor are many better people. So, following your mores and logic we can ONLY have people at the level of Hegseth and Tulsi. You will refuse and drive out anyone better, thanks. WHILE not offering yourself to anything, any action, any service, not even the talk circuit.

Makes for better useless complaining, though. You got that goin’ for you while the nation burns.

Working to destroy anyone who speaks out against our myriad crimes is working great. Please keep going. So when every Ritter, Lira, etc is gone, who will turn around and speak for you? You’ll have your nirvana, your heart’s delight then. No resistance at all, and we can all be run into boxcars knowing we are truly, perfectly, morally pure.

…Says a guy who was enlisted and helping everywhere WHILE we were illegally bombing everyone on earth after 2000. You’re going to tell me who did NOT enlist and NOT help those illegal military actions. Thanks to Americans like me, that’s your right. Keep talking.

    • Biden Trying To Spoil Everything Before Trump Arrives – Lavrov (RT)

    Peaceful transfer of power.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

“The Democrats have such a manner in American politics to spoil the whole thing for the next administration before the end of their mandate,” he said.

Lavrov reminded that the same thing had happened before Trump’s first term when outgoing Democratic President Barack Obama “banished 120 [Russian] diplomats from the US and arrested five sites of [Russian] diplomatic property” just three weeks before his successor’s inauguration.
    ————–
    • Ukraine Not Yet In Strong Enough Position For Negotiations: NATO Chief (ZH)

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, speaking before the widely anticipated sanctions were announced, said Friday that the Biden administration was trying to make things difficult for the incoming Trump team.
” Continued defense and economic aid to the Ukraine has also been something that Europe and the Biden administration have long been trying to ‘Trump-proof’.
So far, the president-elect has said he doesn’t immediately plan to cut or end aid, but this could be him telegraphing negotiations or an attempt to maintain leverage in this regard over the Russian side.
As for the battlefield, there’s near universal consensus at this point that Russian forces are winning.
Steady gains have persisted in the Donetsk region, while Ukraine tries to make life difficult for Russian leadership in Kursk region.

LA, the city by the OCEAN that doesn’t have enough water.

So the LA fires from a quick engineering stand point.

Solving the LA wildfires is a Venn Diagram math problem

How much water delivered with how much functioning equipment over how much area is “effective” in ‘controlling’ a wildfire?

After you figure out how much you need did LA county collect and store enough water YEAR ROUND in enough ‘reservoirs’?

This current fire is NOT in “fire season” so you need to collect and storage enough water for the worst case in all four seasons.

    Regardless of the ‘green agenda’

Build enough use-able water storage,. Period.

    Wasn’t done

Got enough WORKING equipment and trained and fit firefighters to fight the size of the WORST CASE SCENARIO fire?

Once you calculate that number from the first step above, make sure you didn’t FIRE (pardon the pun) hundreds of them cause they didn’t get Clotshots, or they are DEI hires who can’t tell their ass from their elbow.

Building all those extra reservoirs, and hiring firefighters, and buying equipment for a ‘worst case scenario’ is going to be EXPENSIVE.

    Where’s the beef?

    Where’s the money?

Well if you didn’t spend hundreds of millions put illegal migrants up in hotels and apartments and giving them debit cards with ten of thousands of dollars EACH for food an’ stuff, maybe you’d have more to spend on wildfire prevention.

    Duh, Duh’merica.

Everybody’s house burnt everyone else’s house down. It’s obvious looking at pictures of the aftermath.

    Change the building code to
    1. Require non-flammable building materials
    2. Allow cheap construction
    3. Don’t regulate common sense building plans out of existence

Considering the eye-horrifying “modern” architecture that gets a pass, or rather, effusive applause, there is no leg to stand on for HOA’s blocking something for being unseemly or unsightly. Being incinerated is unseemly too.

What about no more wooden fences? What about ditching the laws and regulations saying you must keep your fence at a courtesy height for prying neighbors, thugs fleeing the cops, etc. What if everyone had 10′ cinderblock walls, not 6′ wooden fences? Might that have stopped the fire in a lot of places even if the houses were wood?

Oh, you want to dig a trench, line it with sand and gravel, lay your own cinderblock fence following instructions from your June 1959 issue of Popular Mechanics? Death to you, backwards savage with your disgusting pathetic wheelbarrow and pile of bricks! Things have to be NICE and also totally incinerated here in our bestest place and time. You can’t just DO things after thinking and deciding what is best. That is the WORST.

For a long time there was a geodesic dome company that sold prefab triangles – concrete on both sides, insulation in the middle, pre-drilled and structurally strong. A single person could bolt together their own dome, go around with a trowel cementing the edges, then paint it to seal. Immune to fire, wind, etc. Super resistant to earthquake, as a dome. Hated by HOA’s, municipalities, etc everywhere, obviously, obviously. You could actually rebuild your house yourself on the cheap. NO SIR, there must be experts sitting on the shoulders of other experts sitting as middlemen between you and having a house, it’s experts all the way down. YOU just …doing things would be absurd.

Building codes are politics, not engineering

Building code ‘officers’ are notoriously corrupt bottom feeder.

I knew an insurance adjuster who worked the Hurricane Andrew job.

Ten of thousands of houses were half ripped open on the boundary layer between total hurricane destruction and just outside the destruct zone.

Hundreds and hundreds of house in Flori’duh had NO SHEATHING nailed to the studs.

They had 1″ of foam board nailed on then stuccoed with a thin layer.

That was the structural nature of their construction, all “inspected” by hundreds of ‘Building Inspectors’

So changing the building codes doesn’t add up to a luke warm bucket of spit if the ‘inspectors’ are crooks, which they universally are in my FIRST HAND experience dealing with them as a group over decades.

You’d have to have another layer of law enforcement just to monitor the ‘building inspectors’

Hey, you can always take matters into your own hands!

    Require non-flammable building materials
    2. Allow cheap construction

    Hmm…
I suspect that those two are mostly mutually exclusive — non-flammable building materials are typically much more costly.

Block construction and adobe and cement and stone — aircrete might be a good option. Steel container homes. Ceramic tile roofs and steel roofs.

    These are *not* cheap.

Cheap construction is typically easy to burn.

The monkeys near Bikini Atoll all learned to wash the fallout off their fruit.

They learned by ONE monkey doing it differently, and then being imitated for their success.

This is why private property is important. Because THAT is how COMMUNITIES improve things. How they actually work in real actual reality.

Communal groups – such as an HOA – might very well block the guy who wants to DIY a concrete geodesic dome and a 10′ cinderblock wall for his yard.

What if everyone had the right to do every damn fool thing they want with their own property? I have said exactly this in front of friends and relatives. No! We can’t have that. There could be icky low value things happening!

So instead we have some process of submitting your plan of what to do with your own property, home, and life to a bunch of HOA bitches who will smirk knowingly and say no and when you ask why, never actually tell you – always a sense that it is… something else.

And the people who recoil in horror at someone just DIY’ing on their own recognizance seem to have some imaginary universe in mind where councils (soviets) of people (not YOU though) combine with Experts to determine (in their own good time and at your expense) whether they deign to allow you to solve your own problems. And that this will work better than any other method. And is sustainable.

Humans are animals. They are primates. They learn as groups the way the monkeys on Bikini Atoll learned — ONE primate does something. Everybody gives him the hairy eyeball but he discovers if what he tries works or fails, maybe it works and he keeps going. The other primates watch him doing good with this new thing, taking a leadership role AND taking the risk himself in that role. Then several primates say yeah, that’s working and they do it too. The more conservative but practical-minded ones follow. By this point, enough have come over to the new way that the others join in – because everyone is doing it.

Stopping people from doing their own thing, trying their own solutions, lobotomizes “the community.” because people aren’t insects. And all these atheist, rationalist, scientific, materialist Democrats in California with all the best most correct concepts could not or would not take into account that humans are primates.

You LET the one crank build HIS thing and the crank down the street build HIS because they are taking a leadership role, the true kind, the one where the leader pays the cost, takes the risk. Maybe the community builds stupid things, but eventually, everybody comes around to cinderblock walls and non-flammable buildings and washing the fallout off their fruit. Unless you have some fantastic experts and council-soviets and ever-increasing regulations and snitches to “help” you.

If life is a river, what is a dam? The LA Basin in its natural state had enough water to support about a half million people. Without water from NorCal, NOTHING of what we see in SoCal today could even exist. To make modern life possible in Palmdale or Victorville or Ontario, life was stolen from NorCal. Drive around sometime in rural far Northern California to see for yourself.

Water is not wasted on the Delta Smelt; water is wasted on the nearly 1 million acres of nut trees planted in the Central Valley to grow almonds and pistachios for foreign markets to enrich private growers and investment funds at the expense of everyone else who has to “conserve”. The Smelt issue is a distraction from that reality.

Is a river even a river if it doesn’t flow to the sea? Fly over the (former) Colorado River delta in Baja California and see the answer for yourself.

In California, water is for fighting, as the saying goes. I vaguely remember Gray Davis’ “advice” to Arnold Schwarzenegger that his success as governor depended on “rain in the north”.

Newsom is done, he just doesn’t know it yet. And he did have rain in the north. That tells you all you need to know about who is competent and who isn’t.

    “These are *not* cheap.”

yes they are. You can build a steel barn and outfit it as a home for what, $60k, $80k with plenty of room. Rated for 600mph winds and fireproof.

Or you can have a standard construction home of the same square footage for what, $450k? More like $600 or $800k?

Laying your own cinderbocks, bolting together your own geodesic dome, building in Adobe, is expensive? The Pueblo were all millionaires with the finest petrochemical driven construction equipment. Sad that their secrets and wealth are gone now.

I am totally completely unconvinced of fireproof things being expensive. Regulations, municipalities, and HOA’s stopping people from building perfectly livable and safe homes are expensive.

That is one reason why I like the neighborhood that I live in. Small, old, unpretentious homes. Non-nosy neighbors. 8 months ago someone a block over started reporting everyone to various authorities for minor violations. I got to know my neighbors better as a result. One complaint was because I had hens. I contacted my surrounding neighbors all they all gave written permission for my hens to be within so many feet from their homes — because they really didn’t care about my hens, but did care about the city letting us all alone, and did care about not permitting one neighbor to rule over the rest of us.
