In the bottom corner is the Union Carbide logo and the statement ‘A HAND IN THINGS TO COME’.

This ‘hand of god’ image has become infamous. Union Carbide’s ‘hand in things to come’ includes the gas leak at its pesticides plant in Bhopal in 1984. It resulted in around 560,000 injured (respiratory problems, eye irritation, etc), 4,000 severely disabled and 20,000 dead.

As for the chemical-intensive agriculture it promoted, we can now see the impacts: degraded soils, polluted water, illness, farmer debt and suicides (by drinking pesticides!), nutrient-dense crops/varieties being side-lined, a narrower range of crops, no increase in food production per capita (in India at least), the corporate commodification of knowledge and seeds, the erosion of farmers’ environmental learning, the undermining of traditional knowledge systems and farmers’ dependency on corporations.

Whether it involves the type of ecological devastation activist-farmer Bhaskar Save outlined for policy makers in his 2006 open letter or the social upheaval documented by Vandana Shiva in the book The Violence of the Green Revolution, the consequences have been far-reaching.

And yet – whether it involves new genetic engineering techniques or more pesticides – there is a relentless drive by the agritech conglomerates to further entrench their model of agriculture by destroying traditional farming practices with the aim of placing more farmers on corporate seed and chemical treadmills.

These corporations have been pushing for the European Commission to remove any labelling and safety checks for new genomic techniques. The European Court of Justice ruled in 2018 that organisms obtained with new genetic modification techniques must be regulated under the EU’s existing GMO laws. However, there has been intense lobbying from the agriculture biotech industry to weaken the legislation, aided financially by the Gates Foundation.

Since 2018, top agribusiness and biotech corporations have spent almost €37 million lobbying the European Union. They have had 182 meetings with European Commissioners, their cabinets and director generals. More than one meeting a week.

    STORY AT-A-GLANCE
It’s become absolutely crucial to understand what we’re up against, globally, and who’s responsible for the rising totalitarianism and their ultimate intention
The COVID pandemic was a coup d’état by the technocratic cabal that is behind the global takeover agenda, referred to as The Great Reset
The Great Reset was introduced by the World Economic Forum, which is tightly coupled to the United Nations and the World Health Organization. Their agenda is to implement a global type of totalitarianism based on technocratic and transhumanist ideologies. Part of that plan also includes reengineering and controlling all life forms, including humans
While the outward expression of technocracy will appear as totalitarianism, the control center is not an individual. Rather than a single person ruling by the decree, technocracy relies on control through technology and algorithm. This is a very important difference. In short, there will be no individual to blame or hold accountable. The “dictator” is an algorithm
Technocracy is an invented and unnatural form of economics that expresses itself as totalitarianism and requires social engineering to work. Technocrats in the past defined technocracy as the science of social engineering. Controlling the populace is crucial for the system to function

From the paper in Nature Cancer:

“Visualization of CRISPR–Cas9 screen in MDA-MB-231 cells showing genes associated with resistance to ERX-41; the top five genes are highlighted”

(So real world application of CRISPR-Cas9 exists)

    1. “Our identification of a single-point mutation within LIPA that abrogates responsiveness to ERX-41 represents a gold standard validation that LAL is the target of ERX-41”

(Strong assertion with overuse of the word ‘abrogate’)

    2. “…expression of LIPA messenger RNA appears to be highest in glioblastoma and breast, ovarian and pancreatic cancers, and our studies indicate that their representative tumors are sensitive to ERX-41 treatment both in vitro and in vivo.”

(mRNA and the ER (endoplasmic reticulum) are popular items in the lay medical community for the past 2.5 years, broad claim)

    3. “https://www.nature.com/articles/s43018-022-00389-8?utm_term=649979&utm_source=awin&awc=26427_1655024166_724aea5e6351d6780d15aa13645246c0

    “This experiment was performed once”

(The author’s/investigator’s caveat found deep within the publication.) There’s already an enormous ‘reproducibility crisis” in medical research, particularly in psychology, that hopefully the holy grail in cancer has been reached, that is Kill All Cancer Cells While Sparing All Normal Cells

V.P. Feelings and morales seem to be connected and quite different depending on the societal times looked at. They appear to be quite different over time. I’m sure the Romans thought everything was morally correct as they tossed prisoners and slaves to the lions and such at the colosseum. I’m not arguing any point other than to say feelings and morales change over time and circumstances. I’ve found that you can judge societies and individuals by the way they treat their animals, both livestock and pets.

That woman certainly is feeding the poor. How do I sign up?

Gonzalo Lira with the to-the-minute predictions. The blame gain for losing has begun:

“Biden Throws Zelensky Under the Bus: Ukraine Leader ‘Brushed Off’ Invasion Warnings”

Uh-huh. Sure, Joe, sure. And we were going to “be with Ukraine to the end.” Total support. Their war is our war. “We’ll never quit until Russia is defeated.” …Until like a retarded trust-fund kid we get bored in about 40 days and wander off to blow up more frogs elsewhere.

We know Ze didn’t want to hear it because he mobilized the entire Ukrainian army, and amassed them at the Russian border. That’s what people do who don’t believe you.

“Zelensky revealed in damning statements issued during an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria that all during the Russian troop build-up crisis, NATO leadership was pushing him to hold a firm public line that Ukraine is seeking NATO membership.”

Because that would never guarantee a war. You know, one that Ukrainians are destroyed in and chicken-hawk Anglos stay home?

Speaking of throwing people under the bus, or not:

“FBI Chief Comey Misled Congress’ “Gang of 8” over Russiagate”

“Comey told congressional leaders that the unidentified informant told the FBI that Manafort “initially ‘managed’ the relationship between Russian government officials and the Trump campaign, using Carter Page as an intermediary.” He also told them that “Page was reported to have had ‘secret meetings’ in early July 2016 with a named individual in Russia’s presidential administration during which they discussed Russia’s release of damaging information on Hillary Clinton in exchange for alterations to the GOP platform regarding U.S. policy towards Ukraine.”
But previous FBI interviews with Carter Page and other key sources indicated that none of that was true – and the FBI knew it…”

But Congress isn’t mad about this in the slightest. No investigations, removals, impeachments, involvements, budget changes, new rules, oversights, or even mild reprimands. Tell open, embarrassing lies to Congress, making them look like fools? You’re the boss! Carry on with god’s work!

Happy little clouds. But Congressmen are minions, and minions take orders.

Jimmy Dore posts “internal” CFR discussions from our generals concerning the certain and immediate loss of Ukraine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9bnFWmHggk

Still total lies about everything Russia we can attribute to motive. They are not moving 100% of their troops there, they did not transition from 100% troops to 100% obliteration (technical words from this General Twitty, US European command) and he contradicts this later saying HE would have done “Shock and Awe.” So clearly Russia did not commit 100% there, which was the U.S. plan for them, and the U.S. is very annoyed that Putin is not doing his war right (by winning it) and would all like to speak with the manager and register a formal complaint. (they wanted over-extension and would probably have mobilized and attacked from the Baltics, although Kazakh was taken out ahead of time.)

But in the main: correct, Russia has taken all Donbass and the Ukrainian Army is vaporized there, ceased to exist. The General later concedes the remaining army “There is no way the Ukrainians can ever defeat or destroy the Russians”, E V E R. “There is no way the Ukrainians will EVER have the firepower to kick the Russians out of Ukraine as well.” (Meaning Crimea as well as Donbass, as well as Mariupol.) “They lack the ends, ways, and means…to [even] go back to pre-2014” “And so we have to figure out the end state here”. “Figure out the end state”? The end state is: YOU. LOST. That means you don’t sit at the table. YOU get NOTHING. Good day sir! Twitty says – and correctly I might add – that given that fact, they should negotiate (surrender) IMMEDIATELY, as every hour their position gets worse.

As I said yesterday, RUSSIA IS NOT NEGOTIATING. The UN and Ukraine are over in a corner, negotiating with themselves like mouth-breathing morons.

Russia will do whatever they please, for as long as they please. Ignoring Ukraine, and the EU, and NATO, and the United States. I can’t believe these self-absorbed nitwits can’t see that. They say this is unacceptable as it will make Joe Biden look bad in the midterms, so can’t have it, it won’t happen. (!!!) You started WWIII and you’re talking about the MIDTERMS? A few points on Biden’s poll numbers???

After implying the US will be totally ignored by Russia, the General adds “We are woefully lacking in diplomatic piece of this. There is no diplomacy at all…”

Hey, aren’t you supposed to be banned for saying these things? Too soon? I mean that, if you say things initially, before everyone is murdered, and can still be stopped it’s too soon and you need to wait until it’s too late and whooda knowd?

Adding: Austin has said “they were going to weaken Russia” (RAND Corporation) but no one ever defined what that meant. …I guess that means they did it! Mission Accomplished, since you don’t know what “mission” is. With Russia stronger than ever, Ruble the highest currency on earth, so strong they’re lowering interest rates, and Putin at 80% approval, I’d say that’s a Hat Trick. Russia has never been weaker, thanks to Biden!

Twitty’s counterpart? “I believe our objectives are still achievable in Ukraine. [Because] it’s going to be determined by events on the ground…” Like totally losing, and losing the entire Ukrainian army. “While we work the economic sanctions”he says, that didn’t work, collapsed Europe and the United States, and make Russia stronger. “We are waiting the outcome on the battlefield”. …Because there are still 10 Ukrainian men left. Under 50.
Again, “[The White House] is blocking negotiations because it will give the Republicans more ammunition to damage Joe Biden.” And that is why those last 10 Ukrainians must die. …Lacking any new weapons from us, since we’ve already stopped shipping. 100 a day, Joe. Just like Chicago.

This guy Mark Stoller was fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpVTj9OMSgA (Brand)
We all say the same things day after day: fraud bad. Work good. He can say them in a whole new way that lets you think about them clearer. And an immediate hobby-horse is to not use the same tired words like Capitalism, Socialism, that are huge and allow for enormous diversity that both include good and bad, or working and not-working things.

Apparently not Dowd and Hunter interview. They talked a lot about vax injury. Quote about CV to stop the collapse must be in his long Twitter feed.

“Officials Won’t Release Video of Paul Pelosi’s DUI Arrest”

That’s okay: they won’t release 64,000 videos of 1/6 either. Some animals are more equal than others. I’m sure it’s because he was totally, totally innocent and wasn’t slurring his speak and barely able to stand or anything. Guys: It’s my money. I paid for that video. That means you have to release it.

Speaking of police: You’re on your own! But after Uvalde, we all knew that, the greatest gun ad in U.S. history. “When seconds count, the police are never coming. Ever.” Like the BLM riots. Okay, but why this time? “Michigan Sheriff’s Department Reduces 911 Call Responses Due to “Exhausted” Funds for Gas”

That’s right, off and on through the U.S. already, no money. That means no gas. Which means no response. They bought too many tanks and APCs, and boy! You would not believe the gas those things burn! So the police ain’t comin’. You’re paying for them, taxes are $6,000/year, but they’re never coming. Which is probably just as well since they’d either shoot you or plant evidence.

Thinking of the shipping insurance industry, I don’t really understand. Why doesn’t Russia self-insure? But even if you heard this was happening and didn’t anticipate it, surely it would only take a week to get insurance running in basic form? Or China? I assume that’s because NATO would pirate and sink any ship worldwide insured by them, in an open act of aggressive war. And Russia doesn’t want to have to nuke us to ashes.

“I beg of you to please stop the current self-destructive nonsense dead in its tracks”

Never. They will drink the kool-aid and die, clearly. This was the discussion of Hunter and Dowd, they both believed people would be mad about being murdered. No way. They will deny and defend their murderer to the death. I think we’ve already seen and proven that. They love murder and death, even their own. So it remains to the rest of us. But the EU will die, strip their children and toss them in the snow, eat newspaper, anything to die rather than support the good and reasonable.

“the ‘west’ has promised the Ukraine some 200 gun and some 50 missile systems. Half of those are former soviet types. The other half are newer and need ‘western’ ammunition. They seem to arrive only in trickles.”

They are promising but not wasting time delivering. The only purpose is to kill every Ukrainian. Now all the women. Slavs must die, that has been 100 years of Anglo ethnic cleansing. Even cleansing Tchaikovsky and Dostoevsky from Western ears.

Ukraine is now NOT using anything we send them and rightly and smartly selling it on the black market. To terrorists worldwide. That the U.S./CIA/Derp State is funding so they CAN buy them and unsettle the world randomly after this. They quite correctly see that beautiful howitzer and its certain destruction, and sell it. Ukr already said in their mutiny videos they can’t shoot at the Russians, at all. Because without proper support and mobility, Russia simply targets them back instantly. Duh, you need to NOT be at the location you just shot from unless you want to be blown to smithereens, like every war manual would tell you. So what’s the point of a howitzer you can’t shoot? Sell it.

Gun control! “No right to the weapons of war”. Unless you buy from the Ukrainians and re-import to Chicago, Durango or the Uvalde border.

100/day (and that’s now) x 120 days + 6,000 captured = 18,000 men. That’s 1/10th. I would bet thousands a day were killed in the first month or so. As Russia isn’t bothering itself with the non-east right now, they’re down to the few kettles and Nazis left. Ukraine is winning! That why they have zero men and are drafting the women. Since I see in action movies that all women are both supermodel physicists and can beat up any man with a finger, I’m sure this will go great.

Ze throws Biden and BoJo under the bus in return. But they don’t realize nobody cares. The side that listens only obeys “experts” and believes “whoever is in power.” The U.S. is bigger (bully) than Ukraine, so what Joe says is true. Tomorrow it reverses and the opposite is true. The morality of intellectual cowards. Anyway, obviously everyone throws everyone under the bus, because: minions. Not just for the movies anymore.

EU Will Likely Grant Ukraine Candidate Status to Join Bloc – Von Der Leyen (G.)”

Russia fights on the battlefield using tanks. They are so sadly out of fashion. How last century! Don’t they know we fight and win using only symbols now? Virtue signaling, they collapse before us. Don’t call me a racist! I’ll do anything! Anything! Like WaPo, it’s a world run and controlled by female emotional blackmail. Bizarrely, they think this will work or hold any leverage over anyone.

“Pentagon Finally Admits Running 46 Biolabs in Ukraine (GGI)”

So wait: will I get banned of the internet for saying what the Pentagon says or not? Like when I posted Pfizer’s own side-effect warnings. Schrodinger’s reality = Schrodinger’s bans. I ban if I like you or not at the pre-teen girls’ table.

Reality check: what did they need Forty-six for? Really? 46 labs and not like three? That is not suspicious at all. No questions will be asked, as the West has zero reporters left worldwide.

“Biden’s Homeland Secretary Lied” “Under oath. In the Senate. And he still has his job?”

He would only get fired if he told the truth. Hundreds have proven this fact. That is where we are. This is who we are, with overwhelming support.

“Smoking (AGAIN): It’s NOT Transitory (Denninger)”

You mean they were LYING? 1) Printing money doesn’t cause inflation. You tin foil hat wearing, right wing morans we ban. MMT proves socialism works and we all eat without working. Forevah! 2 ) There’s no inflation. 3) Inflation is transitory. 4) the Fed will fix inflation/ won’t let it happen. 5) Inflation is actually GOOD for you. 6) Eat the bugs not the steaks. 7) We PLANNED this, for your own good. Go Green! People and the economy are better than ever! 8) It does exist and it’s not transitory and it’s not good at all, but it’s Putin’s fault. 9) Fill in the blank: the only thing more infinite than human stupidity is their capacity to tell and believe new lies. While their brothers and countrymen die. Literally.

Since the entire world (Western) economy is in a “hurricane” and all the ropes are snapping, don’t forget we will things will happen and we will see things we’ve never seen before or thought possible.

For example, from 20% inflation, we’ll probably flip to the USD being crushed for being too STRONG. We’ll probably see Etherium go down to $600 then back to $6,000. Already we see pricing makes no sense and has no arbitrage. Steak is $30/lb but chicken is still $1.20. Turn around, next chicken is $5/lb. No one even bothers to shop for the deals or reprice. Then the supply makes no sense, dismantling working cars merely for parts, while other cars assembled can’t be sold and no one could drive them if bought from gas prices, and can’t be bought since they cost 10x yearly salary. Classic cars cost $4k, not $40k but again, no one arbitrages, no one buys them. This, along with moral decay, is the end stage of massive MMT: prices completely unmoored from reality. From work and effort.

    “Hopes of a once-a-year booster”

Boy I hope I can get injected with yet ANOTHER needle every year. That’s been my hope since I was a child. That and the hope to increase corporate profits, The true meaning of life.

    “Ted Turner”

We saw this going waaaaaay back with Al Gore. Those multi-billions he says we MUST have were all slated to be money-funneled to Gore, Turner, Sachs, etc. However, he’s been written in, but he’s wrong. This will happen from global cooling instead. That’s why we MUST harbor all our carbon fuels, and why China MUST get access to the U.S. farmland and make us a depopulated colony.

We are seeing the growing bands shift dramatically, and seemingly to the areas seen by the last weather cycle/style, over 2,000 years ago. When Carthage was not a desert but a green wheat equal to Rome. East Africa like Ethiopia was a great and flourishing empire more powerful than Greece. And the Silk Road was a string of Oasis green through the Gobi. However, weather may have been less predictable then. Heat or frost may have wandered wildly, as we see with snows in Saudi, and 140f in Vancouver.

There is an argument out there that the loss of fertilizer is a good thing. And yes, fertilizer like steroids grow bigger at the cost of sapping long-term health. So their reversal is not all bad. Without doing non-stop coke and running everywhere, fields can or might recover more balanced health and get back to a lesser level of production without fertilizers. But that would still mean a major collapse at the front edge, and without cover crops and rotation, I doubt soil health would increase much. Without animal husbandry, you can’t productively cover crop, like with hay that can still be used, but only with green mulch that’s an effective loss. But in concept, yes, if you retired all the fields for a 7 x 7 = 49 year Jubilee as commanded, then the fields would recover. Some. I hope everyone’s pantries are full when that happens. Like full as of last March.

But don’t forget: inflation, high gas prices, and eating bugs is a GOOD thing! At least Joe and Klaus and Bezos don’t mind it!

Are you remembering (and looking for) this article by Fabio Vighi in which he laid out his theory that CV was used to provide cover to fulfill BlackRock’s 2019 request to “Go Direct”? (handing over huge amounts of capital straight to the banks without creating massive and immediate hyper-inflation).

Maybe Dowd also went into this at some point, I don’t know. But to my knowledge, Vighi did the best job of describing it.

Although it now looks like the inflation is leaking out from the “Inside Money” into the “Outside Money”.

    @V Arnold,
I watched that entire interview, too (will next water the garden late!); fascinating. My friends in research at the university are desperately seeking finance to support their labs, as state monies dwindle. Some wrestle with the ethics of corporate money (like money in politics, strings are always attached!), and for some it’s simply not seen as an ethical issue.

Two metaphorical and/or analogous thoughts occurred to me, though, with regard to the vaccine, virus and financialization (Mike Hudson):

    (1) In my experience it is the “older population”, especially, who are crying and rending their garments that ALL must be vaccinated, boosted… in order to keep them alive, longer. In an analogous situation, this same generation has sold future generations down the proverbial river in order to keep their ill-gotten wealth.

In discussions with a weathy and elderly client about a potential market crash, their comment was, “But what about ‘us’? What would happen to ‘us’, we would lose everything and we’re too old to work!?”” (The “It’s not fair!!” rant was left unthought, and unstated…but certainly implied)

    (2) This wonderfully edited, long-form interview allowed the two docs to convert highly complex ideas and concepts into understandable sentences without interuption. The docs spoke about this “battle” between viruses and our bodies, seeking ‘stasis’, a balance between transmissability/ survival and lethality (ebola an example).

My mind jumped to this being analagous to “predatory and parasitic financialization”. Debt, properly secured, properly priced, might be beneficial at times. (Debt jubilees would be part, too)… but now we’ve far surpassed the point where debt has killed (or at least is killing) the host. Ebola Economics.

Extraordinary, risky, experimental financial life support efforts are being implemented (analogous to vaxing the kids to see what happens and save the elderly), and will most likely damage everyone.

I probably wasn’t clear enough with these analogies, hopefully the point is communicated.

    Listen to Russia.

Look at what Russia has been doing.

Russia has been building an “off-ramp” from before the start of the war on February 24.

Stop the current self-destructive actions of your leaders. ( Top US and NATO officials are encouraging Ukraine to keep fighting to the last living Ukrainian)

Russia does not need to fire a single shot or land a single missile on European territories to win a total war.

Russia only needs to embargo exports of wheat, oil, nat-gas, rare earths, inert gases, potash, sulfur, uranium, palladium, vanadium, cobalt, coke, etc.

“sanctions” on Russia are backfiring and lowering your standard of living

Lower fertility rates, coupled with increased life expectancies around the world, are creating an aging population. Since 1950, the global median age has grown from 25 years to 33 years.

An older population comes with a number of economic risks, including rising healthcare costs and a smaller global workforce.

Ha ha. Zelensky thrown under the bus… “The USA will fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.”

That includes Z himself, and some women aged 18-50.

Post 91, the Ukr oligarchs made deals with ‘abroads’, mostly USA (Bid-clan), UK, Germany … 46 Labs ‘biolabs’ in Ukr – that is a lot – I’m guessing many were small, not very efficient or productive, not even ambitious, important in any way, maybe the outcome of a ‘seeding’ operation, such as minor blanket funding to see what emerges.

Or some of them may even have been straight up commercial enterprises, that sounds weird after the US admission, but there you go, in murk much is hidden. I posted this before, as I looked into one of them:

    ——

There was / is one (and only one), high-level Bio Lab in Mariupol. The latest WHO report is very critical:

Mariupol City Branch of Donetsk Oblast. Laboratory Center of MOH, Laboratory of Especially Dangerous Infections and Laboratory of Virology (GCA) Laboratory Assessment Report
    November 2020.

    PDF

    https://www.humanitarianresponse.info/sites/www.humanitarianresponse.info/files/documents/files/laboratory_assessment_report_mariupol.pdf

    ——-

From the pix one can see the small scope, but who knows what was being done or investigated there, certainly not deadly viruses. Of course the WHO knew what was going on – though maybe not the extent of it.

What of the dire TB, AIDS, other infectious, super high stats in Ukr? Imho a totally corrupt med. system accounts for ppl not being treated, particularly NOT the poor, prisoners, prostitutes, the elderly, the handicapped, AIDS patients, those with chronic conditions… (Meds are captured, sold ‘black’, it is scramble on the market hand to hand, connections is all), and these biolabs are detached from the medical circuit, had nothing to do with any of that, they just trundle along, with OK pay for the ppl working there. To accomplish who knows what, maybe very low-level stuff. Anyways it was, is, a cheap investment. That is just my vision on this day, what do I know, heh.

Right now the Ukrainian War is mostly focused in the Donbas region. The rest of the Ukraine is relatively quiet. The front contact line is basically an artillery duel. The artillery duel favors Russia with it’s superior artillery.

The main reason Russia has been forced to go slow is the presence of some Ukrainian artillery. As long as the Ukraine has some artillery, the Russians have to remain wary of closing in on the Ukrainian front lines too quickly or too soon. This fact allows the Ukrainians time to keep feeding fresh troops into the front lines to replace lost troops.

This also why the US/Nato are currently feeding more artillery into the Ukraine. It is the best way to prolong the war against Russia to the last Ukrainian. It also supports the Ukrainian black market too!

Interestingly, if an Ukrainian accepts a Russian passport, they no longer need to worry about any debts they owe to Ukrainian banks!

In Russian controlled areas of the Ukraine, Rubles are quickly replacing Ukrainian currency. It looks like existing Ukrainian banks are being converted into Russian banks. Ukrainian pensions are now being paid in Rubles.

Nothing conquers a country faster than sound money!

Now Ukrainian women are being drafted into the army to help replace army manpower losses. I am going to guess the number of Ukrainians trying to leave the Ukraine will begin to drop significantly! No doubt an European idea to stem the flow of Ukrainians!

Now Ukrainian women will need to bribe border officials to leave the country just like their men folk! Maybe that is the real reason for drafting women now! More Payola! The downside to equality!

ERX-41 looks very promising for cancer treatment, though this is one trial-study, and the point-mutation of one gene made the medicine fail to work. Cancers will soon discover that and mutate that gene and succeed anew. That being said, attacking this mechanism of cancer-cell proliferation is now known to be effective. Those are some bad cancer-types it killed in the study.

Oxymoron’s song will slap you upside the head, and you’ll get it. Thanks for “liking my work”.

VP Gary paged me to courtesy telephone #2 yesterday but I was busy in multiple venues and driving and did not see it until this afternoon.

Honky: I’ll read that. One crisis can be used to justify so many different interventions.

Since I see in action movies that all women are both supermodel physicists and can beat up any man with a finger, I’m sure this will go great.

Yesterday I was watching an episode of some mundane BBC mini-series – so mundane that I cannot remember the title – when exactly this happened, some 5 foot female beat up these two 6’6″ bouncers. It was only after this fantasy scene that I realised that my mind was doing something very strange: instead of remembering the characters in the story by their names, I was remembering them by their skin colour.

If you have ever watched a BBC program, you will find that every scene (unless it is the idiot bad guys who are always white) the cast has one of each hue of blackness. I caught myself thinking of the daughters of the mid-black heroine as the darker daughter and the lighter daughter. I continued watching and realised I also did not know the names of any of the characters in the office scenes: there was the the dark black guy, the light black guy, the light black woman etc.

My mind was inherently colourist, finding the colour easier to remember than the face or name. My mind found it easier to recognise them by colour than by name. Maybe I am just some honky racist, maybe I see the world as a colour swatch or maybe I am just one of the bad guys.

    @Clueless Honky: i excerpted this:
22-24 August 2019: G7 central bankers meet in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to discuss BlackRock’s paper along with urgent measures to prevent the looming meltdown.
In the prescient words of James Bullard, President of the St Louis Federal Reserve:
“We just have to stop thinking that next year things are going to be normal.”

Russian Telegram channels reportedly began spreading a fake mobilization order on June 12 that they falsely attributed to the Ukrainian General Staff. The fake order called for the mobilization of all eligible Ukrainian women to report for duty by “June 31”.

    John,

    @Michael-Reid
    had a query concerning spirituality:

I don’t really know what a miracle is but being alive is simply amazing. Being dead I have not experienced that yet so I will keep an open mind and positive attitude and hopefully it will be the best experience ever.

The very basics of life: feeling, acting, and thinking. Is there a need for any thing else?

Sure would be helpful to have manuals on these items. I found the nursing education and experience helpful. Some stuff everyone should be taught.

After my latest tilt-a-windmill commentary, plus his medical background, felt like I’d defer to you to take a shot @ talking with him…

Call it a professional spiritual referral 😉

Does anyone think Trump has finally figured out he got snookered by deferring to CDC/NIH + *BIG* Pharma for the COVID vexes?

He was obviously in over his head, although a well-meaning narcissist, has anyone heard him mea culpa yet for authorizing the profiteers?

I wouldn’t vote for him just based on that *FAIL*, but it’d be nice to see if he can admit he was *DEAD* wrong 😕

That’s the really scary thing about the District of Clowns: So many know-nothing fools that posture as “The Authority”, empowered strictly by vanity & hubris…

Then there are the truly rapacious, corrupt sociopath monsters 🙄

No idea is trustworthy. Bret and Heather have a short discussion on some of the problems I’ve personally had with some of the “lettered” classes.

    How about this little nugget:

Quote from Volodin: “The economies of the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy, and Canada continue to collapse under the pressure of sanctions against Russia.

The breakup of existing economic relations by Washington and its allies has led to the formation of new points of growth in the world.

The group of eight countries that do not take part in the sanctions wars – China, India, Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Turkey – is 24.4 per cent ahead of the old group in terms of GDP per capita.”
