2. What additional costs have been incurred by providing such aid – eg. terrorist action against the US specifically motivated by our aid to Israel
3. What inflation-adjusted 2025 dollar value of aid or other assistance have we received from Israel? What else, of dollar-quantifiable value have we received from Israel?
4. What is the dollar value of any form of aid we have received from Israel AFTER subtracting out any aid from Israel to the US that was aligned with Israeli military strategy, espionage, and foreign policy, as well as any partial mitigation of #2, the costs incurred on the United States by sending aid to Israel?
5. What are the top 5 opportunity costs, calculated in total inflation-adjusted 2025 dollars, of providing aid to Israel? eg. a better space program, solving homelessness, funding libraries or hospitals, preventing deaths of despair at home, or the American public simply keeping the money. What specifically, quantifiably, could we have had?
I think what we will find is that we have not received, in any quantifiable way, anywhere near the dollar value of benefit in exchange for what we have given. How has the United States benefited? We have, instead, received something far more priceless – friendship. Israel is our greatest friend.
Therefore, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is, if we regrettably must cut costs and curtail our assistance to Israel as a result of this report, that we express our continuing love, respect, and friendship to Israel. A Congressional resolution to that effect would be highly appropriate. Israel, our friend, must be comforted that they will continue to have our love and friendship, which is priceless, that we will continue to reciprocate their priceless friendship with friendship of equal value.
It is urgent that this cost-benefit information be brought before the American public asap so the nation can make informed decisions regarding current events. Perhaps a formal request to temporarily reassign DOGE to this task could be made before Congress, as they seem to move quickly and are focused on discovering costs.
