Participant“Iran Just Humiliated the U.S.” — Phoenix Capital.
Yeah I noticed that bc everyone here in America thinks we won and every ship in our Navy is still floating.
Fascination culture-wide with humiliation. I cannot comprehend it. It means nothing, it pays no rent, has no effects. It’s an internal emotional state that most of the time isn’t even appropriate response for those experiencing it. So it’s a narcissistic control mechanism? That’s why they focus on it? Every single person is panicked. All 8 Billion people are humiliated. 24 hours a day. Just read the headlines: it must be true!
Should anyone ever humiliate me, I’d conclude they need to be shot and removed at least twice as much, with cold, calculating plotting that puts great joy in my tiny heart, which may be why I’ve never had an abuser.
Did learn something about Iran here though: We are paying Iran billions! (Of their own money. So they don’t collapse into famine, etc). What does that mean?
A: It means they are being re-added to the Swift System. And? …And anything in the Swift System is visible, and it can’t leave. And? And if $5B suddenly goes missing and appears in Pakistan we can start asking questions if they just bought a nuclear bomb. Right?
And so that is also Obama. In reverse. Obama REMOVED them from the Swift System, so that all their financial moves would become IN-Visible to us. We, our intel agencies, would be blind. Oh. Then he have them pallets of cash outside the Swift System to use for naughty bits just to make sure they could start a nuclear bomb unseen. Oh.
I know this is counter-intuitive. But it’s pretty simple.
To “Control” them — or really it’s just making them a normal part of the family, the community of nations – they need to be IN the Swift System. It’s a false threat: we have more control over them in than out. This is the same with Crypto: sure, great, they use BTC to extort ships, but BTC is the most trackable asset on earth. You can track every wallet from a cave. Then they move to Monero. Yeah, well same thing and Monero isn’t that large, we’re talking billions a pop here, that makes ripples. So Iran has BTC, has Monero, then what?
Then $5B magically appears in Pakistan again, as the Crypto is converted to cash to be spent. Back into the “Swift” System. There’s a blank spot in the middle, (maybe) but without supernatural effort, it’s visible again. Then we ask the same questions of our international family. I can hide a purchase on Amazon with it because nobody’s looking – maybe. But that has my home address. But you can’t hide sums this large, even a Million, from a U.S. Treasury Secretary who is looking for you.
Why should they? Iran gets back into Swift, becomes normal, buys our wheat and the people don’t starve. Why would they NEED to be invisible? No one else is. Yes, only and specifically to make a nuclear bomb. To do something 200 other nations would not approve of, and move to prevent if it were visible. And this was done on purpose.
Well – now we can just UN-do it and Iran can be like Kuwait, Jordan, Turkey…And why not? ‘Coz NeoCons don’t like it? That’s all the reason to do it more.
“Iran Oil Exports Through Hormuz Hit Wartime High
Normal. Like this.
“Iran is going to be the dominant power, not Israel in the future”
Sounds good and appropriate. No problem. Iran is a large smart country of 90M, and Israel is a very small one.
The plan here was to have a belligerent Iran on a leash so it could bully and destroy all others: UAE, Saudi, and be co-dependent on Israel, each causing war for the other. So there is your checklist of practical problems: Iran needs to be a normal country without causing the death of all neighbors. People claim Iran is the Good Guys. So this won’t be a problem for them to do and prove, right?
Therefore there’s no problem for Iran to be the dominant power there, and not Israel. …I mean the only way we lose by that is if Iran is evil, and you promise me they’re not. So: another big win, right? So what you’re telling me is this is another reason to thank Donald Trump.
“Oil executives met with him and let him know we are teetering on the brink of a collapse and …”
And then Iran coincidentally surrendered? And we got everything? I’m not sure how the two are related? Is Iran working for our oil executives? Explain your logic here.
“Iran’s entire military structure evolved in response to isolation, sanctions, encirclement and repeated threats of “regime change.”
Yes. Okay, be productive, how do you solve it then? Trust is rightfully broken, Iran is (was) fully-armed. And hates Saudi Arabia. So if you just drop the reins and run away, Iran takes over everything in the region because they’re in a mobilized mindset where only attacking and expansion will feel like security to them. See the problem?
I’m not saying Iran’s plan isn’t logical and appropriate, or we don’t intentionally misinterpret it. Get beyond that, and how is it solved for a generation?
“If one commander is martyred, another immediately assumes responsibility. The objective is simple: ensure that the military never stops functioning.”
Genius that they are constructed identically to every other military on earth. Very special. However, this is also wrong: If you kill Patton, Montgomery and Eisenhower, Gomer Pyle is not their replacement. It’s completely untrue that their talent roster is infinite. If it were, no war or military action would ever succeed. We know from 5,000 years of war that killing generals and sinking ships work really really well, actually. Don’t yank my crank that the laws of Reality have suddenly halted.
I’ll ask the same each day: they are replaced when we killed 400 of them. How many of our generals did they kill to stop us? A: ZERO.
So if I say “there’s been a terrible accident at the packing plant and you’re the general manager now” you know how to run that place, have all the relationships, knowledge, familiar with all the paperwork requests? No. Not a little, not at all. You know your job as a Sergeant and that takes long enough to learn, not the process of General as well, which is why they’re 40-50yo bc it takes that long. Stop with the nonsense. Even 5 year olds know this.
“Its mountainous terrain provides natural defensive barriers. Vast distances complicate any ground invasion.”
Repeated endlessly. And when we have no desire nor even the slightest need to invade? What then? This same process and facts complicate them defending the coast should we land there…which we’re not. They’re bunkered up, in the mountains and unable to move. Unless these are very special ONE-WAY mountains. And they are resistant to WHITE PEOPLE, while Arabs can walk on them freely. C’mon.
“Most importantly, the Strait of Hormuz gives it leverage over one of the world’s most important energy chokepoints.”
Clearly not since you need “Bullets” to “Leverage” it. Again, they are not in the mountains, hidden and far away, BUT ALSO in the Gulf, out in the open, waiting to hit ships. Those are opposite armies and tasks. Everyone has now routed away from the Gulf in addition to us bottling them up in there until their wells collapse. This is no leverage at all. They used the nuclear option to the fullest possible and nothing happened. Squib. So we know have the “Leverage” of “Provably nothing happened.”
That “Geography” does not fight wars. You have to strap on a gun and go out there in person and DO something. Iran cannot.
On UK willing to do A N Y T H I N G to start a nuclear WWIII,
Stormshadow Hits Vorenzh” Military Summary.
“Totally INSANE: Ukraine and Britain attacked CRIMEA and struck a FerryBoat with Civilians on BOARD”
Anything to start a nuclear exchange. That’s what UK is willing to do to/for us. If the PM is to be arrested for a quarter-million rapes, he’ll blow up the planet to ashes instead. …Most predictable ever.
“Donald Trump wants to stop the war.
Is he trustworthy?
Absolutely not.”Well that’s true enough but it’s the #Opposite of what everyone’s been saying the 10 years til now. That he had no plan and wanted war. Also like all people he has goals. If Peace is aligned with his goals, he can be trusted with it. Same as every other nation over all time.
Boy I’m sure glad no Muslim was ever tricky in the marketplace and the Indians never pulled any scams! They’re not American you see, so they are perfectly moral peoples. Only Europe ever dun wrong.
“the winner of this peace is certainly Iran. Firstly, because the regime comes out alive”
What are you even talking about? Iran won because “It exists”? WTF kind of war did you think we were going to run there? The regime is intact and unchanged because we killed hundreds of IRGC members, such that it is now co-equal and the Civilian Government can get the upper hand again? You may as well say the 3rd Reich won because even one German General was left alive. That’s not how anyone has ever accounted these things before 2026 you know. You made that up just now.
“Israelis Are Livid Over Trump Ending War, Overwhelmingly Believe Iran Won: Poll”
Yes, because they wanted us to genocide Iran for them. Awwww, so sad! Idgaf what they think or want. Why would I? But Tucker and Fox News sure cares more than anything, don’t they? “Israel First!” Tucker says. You must consult with Israel on all issues, big and small. My whiplash is showing.
“Trump Turns on Netanyahu and the Zionists. “Belittles Bibi” – Dispatches JD Vance to face the anger and resentment of the Israel First crowd.”
Slowly working the case to break us free of AIPAC. But everyone is very mad and sad at this! They want AIPAC and Empire! Or Trump would be their hero, right?
“Trump’s approval numbers are dismal. “Trump was 21 points underwater in a Fox News poll”
And that’s why he won 114 of 114 endorsements, because everyone hates him. I don’t understand, since Hillary had the greatest polls and Kamala was up by 10, a shoe-in, certain win!
““They are the junior partner. We’re the senior partner.”
This remark and others outraged the Zionists even more.”Prettymuch says it all there. Never stop talking, guys. I want to learn more about how you think the Jews are the master race and Israel is above all nations.
“Iran theatrically walked out over Trump’s threats and Hormuz stayed shut to everyone but Iranian and Chinese hulls.
I mean, except for the 100 the US Navy escorted through. They don’t count. When is a ship not a ship? A: Whenever “I Make S—t Up” in my head.
Also this is not the point, the MoU isn’t going to be signed in this form. That’s blather. What ACTUALLY happened? Iran opens the straits, the world gets oil. THAT actually happened. And what then? The IRGC STILL tried to close it. Ah. So we all see now. The IRGC is entirely breakaway opposition to “Iran” and defies the Government. That is, they’re a terrorist network unrelated to Iran. What else? Lloyd’s of London demonstrates THEY are the only one closing the strait. By holding all world shipping companies hostage. No joke.
It’s now proven Iran never had that power, but London does. Hmmmm. But companies only RESPOND to facts because you have to sell it in a boardroom. Now all pipelines are built around Hormuz that should have been built 50 years ago. Odd. And now all world shipping can figure out how to get away from Lloyds…and note they don’t trust the United States to insure them? Is our credit weak or something? We can’t print money I guess? (according to Verufakis) You think we’re not good for a million bucks, the price of an average house in California? Yeah, no. China too? How about Russia? Incapable of running an actuary spreadsheet there? No. It’s network effect, they need to build all these and go around Lloyds all at once.
“I am not alleging a crime. I am describing an architecture.”
Yeah, me too.“.This is the settlement the American people are mistaking for a surrender. It is not a surrender. It is an acquisition. The men who wrote it were never trying to defeat Iran. They were trying to onboard it — onto the corridors, onto the Accords, onto the architecture that turns the entire region into a single integrated grid administered by private capital and legitimized by normalization.”
Exactly as I said about returning into the SWIFT system. And the American people don’t actually think we lost, they think we won. Only idiot pundits who haven’t been right in 20 years are saying that, plus liberals so deranged they’re carving out chunks of the reflecting pool and being arrested.
Yes. And as above, this is how you NORMALIZE an armed Iran to be good with neighbors like Saudi and not dominate them, which they otherwise can. No peace if we just trade the U.S. or Israel as a genocidal maniac for Iran being the genocidal maniac, what’s the difference?
“Trump signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Iran in Versailles. That palace has seen a lot of defeats.”
Soooo….therefore equal number of victories? This is like commenters on trading saying there were all sellers, no buyers. No: there is exactly ONE buyer for every seller, and vice versa. Jesus Christ.
So which side was the loser? Well one of the Navies is sunk and one of the Air Forces is eradicated, but I’ll let you decide, I’m sick of saying it.
“Alex Krainer, Is healthcare a human right?”
A: Only if you believe in human slavery. That “Right” has to be provided with someone’s talent, material, and time. That’s not free, which by definition Rights are. Now can you say it is a Public Good that should be provided out of the Treasury? Sure if you want. But that’s not a Right. That’s like the Army: you should definitely have one and everybody does, but it’s not a “Right” to have one. We’ve forgotten definitions, thoughts, and don’t know what words mean. This fact is what makes “Rights” different from other government functions, and not voluntary but Inalienable. He’s not American, no surprise he doesn’t know that. 80% of Americans may no longer know either.
Glad this guy was fixed up. Sounds super-expensive, who paid the bill? Russian citizens did? Why should they? I have a universal human Right, so I’m going to fly to China and make them give me bypass surgery, then fly home. Why not? It’s my Right. Saves me $100k and I can take that vacation to Monaco.

Participant@Dr.D. Thanks for reading. If you go to the link, Krainer does not say that health-care is a “right” at all, because he doesnot want to have another open fight.
He thoughtfully opens the case of what might be a good way to go about assuring some of another public-good for the public in an efficient way. Right now public funds are diverted to private profit while providing worse and worse medical care.
That Russia took care of this visiting SEAL-vet with a blood clot in his brain, who the VA wouldn’t CT-scan is shameful, of course.June 23, 2026 at 2:02 pm #243288John Day
ParticipantLast night (still daylight here, it was) I posted Days Getting Shorter https://drjohnsblog.substack.com/p/days-getting-shorter
It started like this. (Kunstler picked-up on the Patrick Wood piece, too.)
We had a garden and first-birthday party in Yoakum Saturday, with pleasant company, good food and lots of leftover-containers, kids and dogs that all did fine.
Thanks to readers who attended (You know who you are).
We did not figure out what is about to change in our world, but it sure looks big, and looks like it might keep changing for a long time, too. Most of what I read asserts that the US just lost a war with Iran. Some are also shocked indignant that the US “betrayed its major-ally, Israel” a little over a week ago, by declining to expend scarce US air defense missiles against Iranian missiles attacking Israel in retaliation for the ceasefire violation of bombing Lebanese civilians.
I have long wondered how long the US would persist in supporting the “only democracy in the Mideast” and it’s genocides in the quest for “greater Israel” which are directed by their god. There are indications that Gulf monarchies have been negotiating quietly with Iran, and are willing to do business with Iran if the Israeli threat against them might somehow go away, especially if the US won’t threaten them on Israel’s behalf.
New narratives are that Trump is really, really exasperated with Netanyahu this time and threatening to let Israel go-it-alone, while JD Vance says loudly that the US is the dominant-partner and Israel has to follow-orders, which Trump also said recently.
To me it looks as though Israeli politicians are being goaded to be more bellicose, blame Netanyahu for being too soft on Iran and “terrorists”, tell-off Trump and just blow up Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and maybe Turkey on their own. Though I doubt that Netanyahu has been actually alive since early March. This also appears to offer a plausible political off-ramp for his AI stand-in.
We will have to see if Iran can re-enter the broad world of trade without sanctions, helped by the $300 billion investment-fund of Gulf neighbors, from which they apparently all intend to profit together. That does imply the ending of the militarily adversarial relationship between Israel and Iran. Will that leave a national-identity for Israel if it comes to pass? What might such an identity be?Gilbert Doctorow, Yesterday’s front-page editorial in Le Figaro on the Memorandum of Understanding
Note the trenchant realism in their analysis, though the logic of the last sentence is not persuasive. And they avoid stating the obvious: that the Memorandum reflects the relative positions of the signatories as winner (Iran) and loser (USA) in both rounds of this war, in 2025 and 2026...
..Contrary to what he (Trump) tries to make them swallow, the winner of this peace is certainly Iran. Firstly, because the regime comes out alive from its tug-of-war with two nuclear powers, the ‘Big Satan’ and the ‘Little Satan.’ Forgotten are regime change and the promises of aid to the martyred Iranian people. Trump henceforth recognizes the ‘sovereignty’ of the bloody regime of the Revolutionary Guards, on whom he lifts the sanctions. And who hits the jackpot? A 300 billion dollar fund to which must be added the 100 billion of frozen assets and 60 billion dollars of oil revenues per year. Plenty to be used to rearm for the next war! Iran also keeps its hand on the Strait of Hormuz. https://gilbertdoctorow.substack.com/p/yesterdays-front-page-editorial-in Mary sends an alternative-view from Patrick Wood, Iran: The Goal Was Always Economic Reintegration, Not Containment
Now, the part that should hold the attention of every American watching this, and is being missed by nearly all of them: Jared Kushner is a private citizen. He represents no agency. He took no oath for this work. He is the President’s son-in-law, operating as a civilian proxy, and he runs an investment firm — Affinity Partners — whose capital comes overwhelmingly from Gulf sovereign wealth. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar are the funders of that firm. They are also the states being asked to fund the Iran development fund. The man who designed the mechanism to rebuild Iran is paid by the governments that will pay for the rebuilding.
I am not alleging a crime. I am describing an architecture. The negotiation of a sovereign settlement with Iran was placed in the hands of a private financier whose investors are the very Gulf states whose capital the settlement mobilizes. That is not a conflict of interest in the narrow legal sense. It is the structure itself. Statecraft has been handed to a fund manager, and the fund manager’s clients are the beneficiaries of the statecraft. This is what the privatization of foreign policy looks like when you stop using the polite words for it...
..This is the settlement the American people are mistaking for a surrender. It is not a surrender. It is an acquisition. The men who wrote it were never trying to defeat Iran. They were trying to onboard it — onto the corridors, onto the Accords, onto the architecture that turns the entire region into a single integrated grid administered by private capital and legitimized by normalization. https://patrickwood.substack.com/p/iran-the-goal-was-always-economic?r=na1qg&utm_medium=ios&triedRedirect=trueJune 23, 2026 at 2:21 pm #243289D Benton Smith

H.Con.Res.86 – Directing the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran. This concurrent resolution directs the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities against Iran unless explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or a congressional authorization for use of military force against Iran.
Elements of the U.S. Armed Forces needed to defend the United States, an ally, or a partner from imminent attack are not covered by this requirement provided the President complies with a specified provision of the War Powers Resolution. (The provision generally requires the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities no more than 60 days after the President notifies or is required to notify Congress of such involvement, unless Congress authorizes such use. MISSION – Why We Do What We Do
21st Century Wire serves a niche audience which we firmly believe is not being catered for by the wider western corporate and state-funded media market. After over a decade of interacting and consulting with our learning community, we are keenly aware that they are much more inquisitive than traditional legacy media readers, and more aligned with independent content creators, as opposed to mainstream ones. Hence, we know that our audience expects this website to challenge the prevailing narrative and mainstream orthodoxy. Aside from the independent media remit, our number one intention here is to push the envelope and get the reader thinking, talking and hopefully inspire them to take on a more active role themselves, perhaps by creating their own website or information portal on social media. This may be by using free blog software, creating your own podcast, Youtube channel, or just by utilizing social networks like Facebook or Twitter and others. We actively encourage this.
We oppose internet censorship and regulation in all its forms, especially through opaque regimes of control, run by elite committees comprised of ‘experts’ drawn from the Silicon Valley, corporate media, foundation and government-affiliated persons. We believe that such efforts are highly politicized and employ narrow subjective methods of regulation designed to target and silence independent media, while allowing mainstream corporate media to produce ever increasing amounts of fake news and propaganda. Such measures can only lead to a restriction of free speech and expression at a time in history when those freedoms are more important than ever to preserve. Censorship and regulation also interfere in the marketplace of ideas and deprive readers and members of the public to make up their own mind and conduct their own research based on the merits of the information and not on the arbitrary criticism and smears being applied by corporate or state-funded gatekeepers.
The purpose of our website is to educate, promote learning on geopolitical and social issues, as well as provide much-needed independent commentary, news reporting, including criticisms and critiques of larger corporate and foundation-funded media outlets and their coverage of global events. We also aim to deliver a consistent stream of independent research on subjects and views that are generally not covered in the corporate-owned and foundation-funded media spheres. In this way, we are helping to re-balance the discourse by giving a platform to alternative views and narratives which are largely absent from the corporate mainstream media and state-affiliated media outlets.
Besides demonstrating freedom of speech and thought, one of the main intentions of 21st Century Wire is to empower readers by giving them the tools to decode mainstream propaganda. Inspired by long-standing independent news and commentary oulets like the UK Column and OpEd News and others, we try and offer a historical perspective on contemporary issues and where possible, provide strategic reference links throughout our content allowing you, the reader, to delve deeper into the issues if you so choose…
The 21st Century is the beginning of a new information epoch and you, the reader, are the freshman class of free and critical thinkers in a new and dynamic information age. The internet is only a few decades old, and so it is still in its infancy, it is still forming and developing. In its totality, there is an immense volume of information to be had on the Internet but we truly believe that within a decentralised, grassroots and egalitarian World Wide Web, the cream will eventually rise to the top but this can only be achieved by keeping this internet ‘neutral’ and free from excessive government and corporate control.
In spite of the Internet Revolution, the corporate Mainstream Media (MSM) is still clinging to a predictable and monolithic format which it regularly uses to disseminate government, military and corporate disinformation, as well as outright lies and propaganda. This fact is the primary reason why the alternative media is increasingly its share of audiences attention every day. We believe the essence of a free Internet is really about choice, interaction, discourse, dialogue and debate – and not about being force-fed a narrow band of information and ‘consensus reality’ view points, constantly packaged and re-packaged by a few major media moguls and legacy news outlets. To realize the benefit of humankind’s opportunity in the 21st century, then you, the surfer of the information waves, cannot take information for granted. You must go out and dig to find the forum, the blog or the video that you are looking for. That’s why you are here right now – you are here because you are not getting your primary news and analysis from the likes of the New York Times, Washington Post, The Huffington Post, CNN, FOX NEWS or TIME Magazine. If you try explaining that one to an Ivory Tower full of Big Media execs, they simply won’t get it, as too few of them have really been able to grasp what has happened in the this space over the last 20 years, much less where the next decade is heading…
EDITORIAL POLICY – How We Work
All articles and posts on this website refer to real and factual news content, as well as legitimate opinion and analysis, either in the form of original articles, and through our daily NEWS WIRE feed which includes a mix of curated or aggregated news, and editorial content. Every post or article contains source links and credits to either primary or secondary reference material. All claims made on this website can easily be cross-referenced online, or validated by individual journalist contributors. 21st Century Wire makes a concerted effort to check and verify any claims or information put forth by any of our writers or contributors. Any further queries can be addressed by contacting the editorial department (see contact below).
The editorial policy of 21st Century Wire is simple, and resides above partisan politics, political campaigns and the traditional Left vs Right ideological paradigm which we believe only serves to divide people who have more in common than not. 21st Century Wire regularly features opinion and analysis from a range of commentators – from authentic Liberal Left and Socialists, to Conservative Right, and both Libertarian and Constitutionalist perspectives. Rather than aligning our slate with any particular party or ideology, instead we strive to deliver content that addresses specific issues and trends, challenges the establishment’s orthodoxy on a range of issues, and most importantly – challenges state and corporate power, and deconstructs its architecture, as well as exposing the seeds of institutional corruption. In order to better educate and provide context to our readers, our posts include hyperlinks and excerpts from other authors and news sources online. We will also try to stay within that which can be proven, or at least corroborated by a range of credible sources, or by other rational and logical commentators.
Unlike most mainstream media outlets these days, we allow for open comments below each article. If readers object to any points made in the article, then we encourage them to comment or paste any relevant information below the article or video. By doing this, we allow readers to continue the discourse, contribute to subject by sharing their research or point of view, or air their objections or criticism to the article or video in question.
In summary, our remit is to identify, inform, highlight, explore, challenge, enlighten and report on problems and solutions that are facing people, society and the world. It’s a tall order for sure, but we promise to do our very best…

ParticipantRather than quitting TAE altogether, I suggest a 30 day vacation. It’s summertime. Get outside and get away from your computer. Take a barefoot walk in the grass. Go for a swim or a bike ride. Come back after a 30 day break and you’ll feel much better.
I skim the crazy sh*t Ilargi posts here — yes, the Pinsker piece won the prize for Delusional Post of the Day. Kunstler came in second today. I guess there was no Salgado piece today, because that is the one that usually wins hands down. For awhile the crazy posts bothered me, but now I see it as a spiritual malaise. It’s another mass formation. Ilargi is under a spell along with a big chunk of the western world. I hope the spell is lifted. But until that happens, don’t even both trying to reason them out of it. You will not add one minute to your life trying.
And then we have a visit from the internet’s model citizen, citizenx, who seems to be afflicted with Tourettes Syndrome. That or he escaped from the underworld for a few hours.
