Fourth turning is making me dizzy. Ok, so I have always had an emergency cash and dry goods supply for me and the family – in case of fire, accident, war whatever. But if everyone is gunna rush the stores now I am going to have to refine the plan….. and get more – this thing could drag on…
Definitely getting the hot water jacket hooked up to the stove – wood I own, Gas, well the Oligarchs may need to sell it for more than I can afford.
Soon we will get to the social distancing here in Australia and kids won’t go to school so it’s bulk buying time I am afraid.

At this point it looks like, the way things play out everywhere, health care systems quickly become completely overwhelmed, and people are left to fend for themselves. What if politicians just said this – we bungled it and our health care, as it has been designed, does not have the capacity to deal with this – can’t redesign the system now, too late for that, you are on your own? No politician would ever be this honest, so we will go thru the charade of pretending to be able to help everyone, full speed ahead towards the brick wall, and turn away when the wheels fall off. In Canada our federal government just announced a whole billion dollars to help with health care costs!!!!!

Italian “minimal growth in living standards in two decades.”

Thanks, Euro. Extracting wealth from the poor since 2001! Killed waaaaaaaaaay more people than Corona already. The nations cheer! Don’t stop EU, we want MORE EU! World government even!

“What happened in Wuhan could happen here. Why do we think otherwise?”

Okay then Doctor: What DID happen in Wuhan? Mere 3,000 deaths in a city of 20 Million as reported? That’s 0.015% death rate. The flu. Would you like to alter your story now?

Reminds me of 9-11, we want to start a 20 year, $20 trillion dollar worldwide crusade and erase the U.S. Constitution for HALF the ordinary deaths of a single DAY. But O’Brien said so! In our 5 minutes of hate! People said, “this will change everything” and I was like WTF why? Do you have the slightest idea of how big and strong this country is? 3,000 people is a pinprick: go back to work and think about something important before you do something stupid. Ah, but they were all acolytes of Osama, who said:

“it easy for us to provoke and bait this administration. All that we have to do is to send two mujahidin to the furthest point east to raise a piece of cloth on which is written “al-Qaida”, in order to make the generals race there to cause America to suffer human, economic, and political losses without their achieving for it anything of note other than some benefits for their private companies. …So we are continuing this policy in bleeding America to the point of bankruptcy.”

Ah, if only we had known from him saying it publicly for years! And the quote being on national T.V. And all his detractors pointing it out! And screwing up 100% of each step to get here! Who coulda knoooooowd?

So if 3,000 was a rounding error, two days of one cause of death in one country (heart disease), how much less in China. …Again, unless you want to reject the official numbers, Mister Doctor fellow. Can’t have it both ways.

“The American immune system is not stronger than the Chinese immune system,”

That’s not what the ACE2 receptor chart said. So is it is or is it ain’t? Isn’t it enough to say it has a 0.01% rate and therefore 33k may die? Nope! They have to lie and make it MOAR! So if China DOESN’T have this death rate, and it is already dropping off sharply, where do you get the science that WE absolutely, certainly will? A: Out me bung-hole. Can I expect an apology if you’re wrong and crash the world-wide economy instead? Nope, that’s only for people like me. Being an expert means never having to say you’re wrong, even 30 years later. Ask East Anglia. And the OPCW. And the IMF. And…

Ah the trouble with constant non-stop lies that everyone believes every word although no one’s ever told the truth before. They are so in love with “leaders” and “experts” they haven’t noticed they’ve never been right in our natural lifetimes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argument_from_authority Haven’t we died from SARS, H1N1, Avian, Swine, Mad cow, Creutzfeldt–Jakob’s, and Ebola yet? 12x over at least. I know I died at least twice. Meanwhile male life expectancy drops and 30,000/year die of opioids and the nation applauds. They wear stupid red hats, you see. A public service really.

Now I don’t trust China’s numbers a bit but they set up three stadiums to deal with the flow and only a month later all three are reportedly closed. So they threw all their people in the ocean or it is over now? And if it’s over in 60 days and they’re still standing what does that say? Maybe that for the 100th out of 100 times in a row the media hype machine is lying? Just like terrorists, they exist somewhere but you won’t die from them?

That’s what Cuomo is saying, he just called out the U.S. ARMY to shut down a whole 1 MILE area. Yeah, ’cause Americans seldom travel more than one mile. On the Metro North, the nation’s busiest subway. And specifically only the BUILDINGS, not the 79,000 commuting people. And NOT the city of “Wall Street”. Nope, never. Clearly it’s his top concern. For the cameras. And the yummy disaster relief money for his pals. Does he look concerned to you? So does he know things you don’t maybe? Like da Cheeto?

Pollution Cuts May Mean Coronavirus Saves More Lives Than It Costs (F.)”

Can’t please some people. First they want everybody dead, then they don’t. If this is true, we should have a Corona per year and save millions. Already should have a baby boom from everybody staying home.

US President Donald Trump’s efforts to “get NATO more involved in Syria,”

Huh? He was leaving Syria. That’s why y’all were mad; it was irresponsible, impeachable even. I know that wasn’t completed, but… But that’s Lindsey for you, can’t take the “Con” out of “NeoCon”. Back in the real world, we and Russia need to contain Turkey’s senseless ambitions as still fueled by Saudi and Israel. Personally, I’d leave it to Russia alone, but I can understand tag-teaming, especially with those two jokers ever-plotting. Using my tax money. Just another Wednesday in the Land of the Lost. Think I’ll go lick a banister.

Denmark, Norway have some 5 million inhabitants. Switzerland has 10 million. Holland has 17. Their cases to date are 340, 440, 652 and 503, respectively.

Germany has 82 million people and 1,622 cases. Ergo, per capita Denmark, Norway should have -to keep level with Germany- 16x more cases, Switzerland 8x, Holland 5x. That would mean 3,440, 7,040, 5,216 and 2,515 cases.

They’re nowhere near, and Norway is by far the worst. After Italy, Iran and South Korea, it’s the worst in infected per capita (if we forget Bahrain).

So how many dire reports have you read from or about Norway?

Posted elsewhere in response to the question is this a pandemic exercise testing the response of the U.S. healthcare system and the answer almost sounds like Dr. D:

“A very similar experiment ran in 2001, first the anthrax letters, a week or so after 911 then Colin Powell’s fraudulent anthrax vial testimony at the UN in 2003 just before the Iraq War inception.
Local trustees in and out of the armed forces were engaged and mobilized under the Urban Shield program, you know, police chiefs, mass casualty/disaster planners, small town mayors, paramedics etc. They were all promised “first access, insider” information about impending doom (I meant) attacks.
Tom Ridge at DHS initiated the color coded threat levels almost exactly 18 years ago in March 2002. The press played along and ratcheted up emotions. Anthrax was the boogeyman threat used to excite the masses who never really developed an appetite for war that was SUPPOSED to be stoked by 911 alone.
And my god, they were in a hurry. In 2002, Mitchell and Jessen started torturing under CIA contract to the tune of $81 million dollars. By 2003, you could no longer find open access (without barriers and strict security) military bases and federal buildings most of which were not heavily fortified, as you can see today, even a year after the “stimulus” of 911.”

    BIDEN FOR PRESIDEMENTIA

I still don’t see how anyone could vote for Biden, but they are! While Sanders may not be out of the race he would need an incredible lead to fight off the super-delegates, and this now seems extremely unlikely.

The odds are that Biden will be the DNC candidate.

Also current events are weakening Trump so Biden has a good chance of being elected President! All Biden has to do is to stay alive until the election.

I suspect that is ALL that Biden has to do. After the election ‘others’ may take over the actual running of the country. I became suspicious that Obama spent so much time on the golf course as it seemed he was saying ‘I am just a figurehead’!

This makes it critical as to who is nominated as vice-president. The two names I have seen mentioned are Michelle Obama and, of course, Hillary! I read that the Clintons have bought up the DNC debts they may want a good return on their investment! I fear the worst!

Given the geriatric nature of US politicians and presidential candidates the virus may determine the future of the world!

“Personal” is feeling the threat, getting sick, caring for a critically ill family member who is getting worse, seeing the loss of the life you know, and feeling fear that does not go away.
Sorry to be negative, but I’m working to channel the mind that will be in my body soon, the mind that guides a body in mortal threat. Denial is weakening in America, and urgency is taking it’s place, Soon will come panic, then despair and capitulation.
Capitulation of the elites, as they go through the emotional dive-bombing is what could allow the obvious to actually take place. Bernie Sanders gets the Democratic nod, and props up Americans with public health, jobs that support families, and directions to new tasks to support society, rather than suck the life out of it for elites.
No fever screening test will work for novel coronaviruses, because there are days of shedding virus without any symptoms, before the onset of feeling bad. This means only huge regional quarantines will work, and for months, not weeks, and the viruses will keep spreading until 70% or more of people have had them. S-strain and L-strain novel coronaviruses are different. L-strain spreads faster and is more deadly. Our tests in the US, just released, with long report-waiting times, do not distinguish. It’s sort of academic right now. If I test somebody in clinic this afternoon, I’ll get a report next week. We will see numbers explode across the US this month.
Colleges are saying not to come back from spring break. Schools will likely do the same. This will extend into summer vacation, if it is to be successful. In Austin, I will know that a shift in consciousness among elite power brokers has happened when they shutter the strip clubs. Austin has full contact strip clubs with lap-dances. Fellas come from all over Texas for that. Owners have “political clout”.
Drugs are of some help for sicker people, when the drugs are available. Chloroquine, a good old public health malaria drug is back-ordered to infinity in the US. Kaletra, and HIV drug-combination is found to be helpful. Remdesivir rights are now the property of the Peoples Liberation Army of China, and clinical trials continue.
It’s not for us, brothers and sisters…

Shedding a lot of coronavirus while you still feel fine:

People ‘shed’ high levels of coronavirus, study finds, but most are likely not infectious after recovery begins

The USA, USA, USA is China on January 11, today.
The coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. could grow to be as serious as it is in Wuhan, China, Johns Hopkins University Dr. Marty Makary told CNBC.
“What happened in Wuhan could happen here. Why do we think otherwise?” Makary said, referencing the Chinese city where the new virus originated in December.
“Viruses don’t care about politics and they don’t care about location,” he added.

It’s clear to me after extensive reading about countries that seem to have leveled out new cases or actually have declining numbers that the only strategy that works is ‘extreme social distancing’

    i.e. quarantine – lockdown

    No exceptions, nobody is ‘special’

Banning gatherings bigger than 250, 1000 etc is STUPID beyond belief.

How about gathering at all, like zero. That is what it will take. Anything else is not just halfass, it’s dead ass.

The UK Health Minister got it, she’s not special.

The Pathocrats who think they control things are not special either, but they think they are.

You can get an idea of how much the Chinese lied about their numbers by looking at Italy.

The mortality rate in Italy is running at 7.5% (that’s 75x the seasonal flu which is .1%)

The northern Italian medical system, which was quite good at the start, has now effectively collapsed under the load and the cases are still DOUBLING in less than a week.

So the US has tested a couple hundred times, when it needs to test several hundred thousand times, and now the test kits won’t work without reagent chemicals that are almost exhausted. Sweet

The US is such a pitiful clusterfuck of a country, this Sars-C0v2 is going to plunge it into a Dark Age.

zero, I understand that testing has been a cluster but do we really want the government to mandate testing of people that are displaying little or no symptoms? And if the kids test positive, do we want them hauled off to quarantine camps?

Okay, they played the “Pandemic” card on the economy and stock market. So that game of shutting down the economy, and therefore any physical response, is going forward. I wonder how that affects the pandemic bonds.

It’s also most of what they don’t talk about, like WHY are 10 different facilities infected? Why only in Washington? Anyone want to guess hyper-low wages=foreign workers? We’ll never know, because if that were true, they’d nuke the planet before admitting it.

So…30 dead. Wow, one weekend in Chicago, be still my heart. No one cared for the last 30 years. I guess they weren’t real people? Important people?

Because statistically no one has died, either U.S. or worldwide, (0.00005%) the key danger remains the economy, a thing actually could kill us. No one cares about that either. Keeping the lines open is mean, irresponsible, heartless. It’s a “war footing” but one where there’s no casualties or sacrifice, you know, a T.V. war, where people fade into the scenery, shout a lot at the walls, and all go home at the end. So to be “serious” about this, we definitely, DEFINITELY need to shut down the entire economy, make sure no one goes to work, no products and source materials move, and no food gets on trucks. In #OppositeLand, that’s #Winning! Or what do you want “them” to do?

A: I want mommy and daddy to do everything so I can sit and cry, complain, whine and criticize. You know, having taken no responsibility, made no plans, have no resources or pantry before now. It’s YOUR FAULT! Whatever “IT” is, it’s your fault. Feed me Seymour. So they say this is coming, they are shouted down as insane. They limit travel, they are lambasted. They post $10 Billion early, and it’s the wrong $10 Billion. They build a wall and scan airports and it’s cruel. They repatriate factories and it’s dumb. Then, having gone home, job well done, wake up the next morning: Whaaaaaaaah! Why is it only $10 Billion??? Why are the airports open??? Why don’t we have any factories??? You’re stupid: you never did anything to help!

The airport thingy, the billions, the quarantining, the military bases….???” Whaaaaaaaaah! Shut up shut up! Feed me! I’m not responsible! I’m IRRESPONSIBLE!

Okey dokey. Thanks for doing nothing all these years, lifetimes for most. Calling me and anyone who worked or had a modicum of foresight for the obvious, two extra cans of beans suckers and lunatics. Here we are. What do you want me to do about it? I told you every day this would happen until you ran away and stopped listening, then I said it on the internets until you stopped listening. Now you think –I– can stop locusts, bad weather, and pandemics? The one guy who can do that is the one guy you won’t talk to, can’t even say his name with your mouth. So…here we are, and we’re neighbors. I hope that newer iPhone11 and Cable subscription was worth it, ’cause I’m just plumb out of words.

Well, you’re in luck because at the moment this ISN’T an emergency and ISN’T bad. Will they have a come-to moment, where their behaviour changes? Nope. Not on your life. The second it lets up, they’ll be mocking it and me all over again. And I’ll still be here, planting trees while you laugh, again, when we get a break in June.

They probably have an answer if it’s the “real” flu, but as stated elsewhere on this blog, you can’t afford it or you’re not part of their club.

Dr. D can comment on the following since the human cell line immortalized for this research and multibillion dollar medical industry took place before I was born.
You may not even need a vaccine to prevent it.

Terms: monoclonal antibodies, monoclonal gammopathy, plasma cells, plasmacytoma, multiple myeloma

“The producer cell line is a key component of any GMP manufacturing campaign for a gene therapy vector. … The efficiency with which our proprietary cell lines can propagate virus allows us to generate high yields of your product with the highest levels of purity.”

The immortalized cell line circa 1953 from a dead woman’s cervical cancer. “Scientists have grown an estimated 50 million metric tons of HeLa cells,[4][12] and there are almost 11,000 patents involving these cells.”

So the myth about only older people getting SARS-Cov2 is falling apart.

From an Italian doctor in the eye of the storm, a theory on age and corona:

In an alarming development, Dr Giuseppe Nattino,an Italian intensive care doctor, from the Lecco province in northern Italy said younger patients were being affected, saying the ages of patients ranged from 46 to 83 with only a small number having important underlying conditions.

(“with only a small number having important underlying conditions…’ this means most were healthy!)

He added: “The last days are showing a younger population involved as if the elderly and weaker part of the population crashed early and now younger patients, having exhausted their physiological reserves, come to overcrowded, overwhelmed hospitals with little resources left.”

The ordinary flu sure gets around.

Here’s a map of today’s flu spread in Australia, its figures derive from self-reporting individuals in the community though a fortnightly email questionnaire but clearly shows the trend aggregated in our major population centres but still spread to the most remote areas

    To my mind it shows

    a) how pervasive virus spreads are even before we start our flu season and in areas of Australia that are tropical or semitropical, even with decades of herd immunity and free vaccinations for large sectors of the population

    b) comparing flu attack and death rates with covid confirm what we see emerging from previously below the radar uncontrolled spreads in countries that considered themselves somehow impervious to the Chinese Peril and as per Ilargi’s Italy is a Time Machine can clearly perceive our potential

    c) given that our Australian political and health systems fall far short of being able to even get close to the Chinese model of containment and resourcing, together with an astounding level of denial and ineptitude and almost insane messaging from our the majority of our leaders designed to sustain our wonderful economies, much of our population is following them right into the cannon’s mouth.

Here in Ontario, health officials are still in lala land.

There is no community spread! People feeling ill should just self quarantine!

    Nursing homes being infected.

Every suburb of Toronto now has multiple cases!

Read a study on SARS self quarantine results. The study showed only 57% actually quarantined! The other 43% didn’t bother to quarantine themselves as it was too much effort and it interfered too much with their lives!

To back up the cheating results, one of the US’s top SARS scientists, who caught SARS, was seen in public, with recorded photos of her as proof!

So quarantining only works for just over half the population! So those Canadian health officials droning on how everybody is self quarantining themselves are just full of it!

On a side note:. Some of you know I suffer from RP in my eyes!

When I was first diagnosed with RP and was legally blind, my doctor said by law he was legally required by law to report me to the government and they would take away my driver’s license. However he said he wasn’t going to report me, leaving everything up to me to decide. Naturally I let my wife drive me home!

About 5 years later, I read an interesting article from the Canadian or American medical association, about what happens when doctors do or don’t report patients.

First of all doctors did not like being forced by the government to play the roll of God for their patients. Very Understandable!

So here is what this study found!

When doctors did report their patients, 75% after loosing their driver’s license, continued to drive!

However, when doctors did not report their patients to the government, 75% quit driving on their own!

So my doctor was very smart! He already knew this!

I know John Day, Dr. D, Dr. Rich, will probably say that sounds about right! Basic Humans 101!

My take on this is when people are given the power to decide what is in their best long term interest, the majority will make the responsible decision.

However if another person or the government makes the decision for a person, that person will resent it and probably continue doing whatever they have been told they can no longer do!

VietnamVet: Congress’s recent virus bill of $8.2 billion, if I remember correctly includes $3.2 billion for international efforts!

What this really means is Congress is more concerned about lining up their next big kickbacks!

Just like foreign aid to the Ukraine!

They might work better than canons!

If you don’t feed them, they will eat people!

Joe Rogan’s hour and half interview with Michael Osterholm. A technocrat insider that no one listen to. The highlight is his pointing out that everyone is preparing like this is the first day of a DC blizzard but actually it is the start of a Coronavirus Winter. It is worth the time to watch.

Yeah, I’ve said exactly the same thing, but with different words.
    Good catch V V; very informative…thanks…
