To summarize the contents: Russia wants a Navy Base in Odessa, and assured access to Transnistria now, a new demand. Russia is probably willing to trade the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to Ukraine for this. Russia continues to advance in Zaporozhye ground offensive, removing Ukrainian possibility to take the power plant militarily. Ukraine had hoped to trade Kursk for the power plant, but has lost Kursk suddenly, and would prefer to threaten Transnistria to get Zaporozhye back, but that may not happen.
Trump may recognize Crimea as Russian. The British 100 year “Friendship Treaty” with Ukraine supposedly gives the UK a military port in Odessa and all the mining rights, so Russia seeks to specifically thwart this. Russia will presumably grind forward on the ground for the rest of the year if demands are not met.
