Wasn’t there some chatter here a few weeks ago about how Iran was on the ropes because it was running out of oil storage and had no choice but to cave because all of its oil fields would suffer irreparable damage otherwise? Funny how I have’n’t seen any follow up stories about that. Was it that a real story? Or was it just wishful thinking and propaganda? Has it been memory holed?

has Marco Rubio ever lived in Cuba?
Has Bruno Rodriguez ever lived in Cuba?

Every time i read or hear AI i think of P.T. Barnum
I can remember when the news was awash with Investment Banking taking charge of Social Security
    Funds.

betcha when it is discoved how much of The SBA funds were transfered upward the investigation will cool. Does Mr. Warp Speed really want to face what the Covid extravaganza would have ultimately cost the economy without the federal intravenous infusions? The crumbs that fell of the SBA loan table kept things from going tits up. Insert tdk’s Trump line about the depth of his thoughts about the man on the street.

I’m sure a man who say’s grab em by the pussy is innocent. After all he never knew Epstein.

What RIM and TAE has taught me.
The many ways that our leaders tell lies.
Here is a partial list from copilot.

You’re asking for a taxonomy of lying‑adjacent tools, methods, and linguistic/behavioral tactics — things used to distort perception, mislead, or manipulate.
Below is a structured, comprehensive list that covers the major categories used in propaganda, interpersonal deception, intelligence tradecraft, marketing spin, and political communication.
Nothing here is operational; it’s an analytical map of how deception tends to work.

    🧩 1. Direct Lying Techniques

Fabrication — inventing events, data, or claims from nothing.

Exaggeration — inflating real details beyond proportion to create a distorted impression.

Minimization — downplaying severity, responsibility, or consequences.

Selective truth — telling only the true parts that support a narrative while omitting the rest.

Denial — rejecting a true event outright.

Confabulation — filling gaps with invented details to maintain a coherent story.

    🎭 2. Misdirection & Distraction
Red herring — introducing irrelevant information to divert attention.

Whataboutism — shifting focus to another issue to avoid accountability.

Flooding the zone — overwhelming with noise so the signal is lost.

Over‑specification — drowning the listener in detail to obscure the core truth.

Ambiguity — using vague language to avoid clear commitments.

Evasion — answering a different question than the one asked.

    🕵️ 3. False Attribution & Identity Manipulation
False flag — making an action appear to come from another actor.

    Astroturfing — faking grassroots support.

Sockpuppeting — using fake identities to influence discourse.

    **Impersonation

    ———–

    Anything else

Absolutely — there are many more categories of deception tools beyond the ones already listed.
Here’s the expanded map, moving from linguistic tricks to psychological levers to full‑scale operational deception.

    🧠 1. Cognitive Manipulation Tactics
Repetition effect — repeating a claim until it feels true (“illusory truth effect”).

Anchoring — planting an initial number or idea that biases all later judgments.

Framing — presenting information in a way that shapes interpretation (“95% survival” vs “5% mortality”).

Priming — exposing someone to cues that influence later decisions without awareness.

Gaslighting — making someone doubt their own memory or perception.

Normalization — gradually introducing extreme ideas until they feel ordinary.

Reframing blame — shifting responsibility to circumstances or others.

    🎤 2. Linguistic & Rhetorical Deception
Weasel words — “some say,” “studies show,” “experts believe,” without specifics.

Passive voice — “Mistakes were made” (no agent).

Euphemisms — softening harsh realities (“collateral damage,” “enhanced interrogation”).

Loaded language — emotionally charged terms to bias perception.

Equivocation — using ambiguous terms with multiple meanings.

Strawman — misrepresenting an opponent’s position to attack the weaker version.

False dichotomy — presenting only two options when more exist.

    🎭 3. Behavioral & Social Deception
Feigning ignorance — pretending not to understand to avoid responsibility.

Feigning incompetence — acting incapable to dodge tasks or scrutiny.

Feigning emotion — performing anger, sadness, or confusion to manipulate.

Mirroring — copying someone’s behavior to build false rapport.

Social proof manipulation — “everyone agrees,” “everyone is doing it.”

Authority mimicry — invoking fake authority or credentials.

False consensus — claiming a majority supports a position when it doesn’t.

    🕵️‍♂️ 4. Operational / Strategic Deception
False flag operations — disguising the true actor behind an event.

Cover stories — fabricated narratives to conceal real operations.

Limited hangout — releasing partial truth to hide the larger truth.

Decoy operations — creating fake targets or assets to mislead observers.

Controlled opposition — creating or infiltrating dissent to steer it.

Dead drops / cutouts — intermediaries used to obscure communication chains.

Maskirovka — broad strategic deception (military, political, informational).

    📣 5. Information Environment Manipulation
    Disinformation — deliberate falsehoods.

Misinformation — unintentional spread of falsehoods.

Malinformation — true information used out of context to mislead.

    Deepfakes — synthetic audio/video impersonation.

Selective editing — cutting footage to create a false impression.

Bot amplification — automated accounts boosting narratives.

Narrative laundering — passing a false claim through multiple sources until it appears credible.

    🧩 6. Interpersonal Micro‑Deceptions
White lies — socially convenient untruths.

Omission — leaving out key details.

Timing manipulation — telling the truth too late to matter.

Feigning agreement — pretending to share beliefs to gain trust.

Strategic silence — allowing assumptions to form without correction.

Feigning busyness — avoiding engagement by pretending to be unavailable.

    🔮 7. Psychological Pressure & Emotional Levers
Fear appeals — exaggerating threats to influence behavior.

Scarcity manipulation — “limited time,” “only a few left.”

Urgency pressure — forcing quick decisions to bypass critical thinking.

Guilt induction — making someone feel responsible for outcomes.

Love‑bombing — overwhelming positive attention to lower defenses.

Isolation — cutting off alternative information sources.

    🧱 8. Structural / Systemic Deception
Data cherry‑picking — selecting only supportive statistics.

Graph manipulation — misleading scales, truncated axes.

Bureaucratic opacity — hiding truth behind complexity.

Legalistic truth — statements technically true but intended to mislead.

Overclassification — hiding information under the guise of security.

Information compartmentalization — ensuring no one sees the full picture.

    Apply your skills to: https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/world/drone-hits-apartment-building-in-romania-sparking-fears-of-russian-attack-on-nato-country/ar-AA24jtC7

Here is the deception‑analysis layer applied to the MSN/Times Now article you provided, using the taxonomy we built earlier.
This is not about claiming the event is true or false — it’s about identifying which narrative‑shaping tools the article uses, intentionally or not.
All factual references come directly from the fetched page.

    🎯 1. Core Narrative Frame
The article uses a fear‑priming frame:
A drone hit an apartment building in Romania → Romania is a NATO country → Russia uses drones near the border → therefore this might be a Russian attack on NATO.

This is a framing technique: connecting an isolated event to a larger geopolitical threat without confirmed attribution.

🧩 2. Specific Deception‑Adjacent Tools Present in the Article
🟦 A. Speculative Attribution (Selective Truth + Ambiguity)
    The article states:

“Initial reports suggest the drone may have been Russian, though authorities have not yet officially confirmed its origin.”

This is a classic hedged attribution:

    Uses may, suggest, initial reports

Plants an association without committing to it

Creates a mental link between “drone” and “Russia” even though no evidence is presented

This is weasel wording + anchoring.

🟦 B. Fear Amplification (Emotional Framing)
    The headline itself:

“sparking fears of Russian attack on NATO country”

    This is fear‑appeal framing:

No evidence of Russian intent is provided

The fear is the story, not the facts

The headline primes the reader to interpret the event as aggression

This is emotional loading + agenda framing.

🟦 C. Repetition of Russia/NATO Proximity (Repetition Effect)
    The article repeatedly references:

    “Russian drone activity”

“Russian attacks near the NATO frontier”

“violations of allied airspace by Russian drones”

“discovery of munition fragments on Romanian territory”

    This repetition:

    Builds an associative chain

Makes the unconfirmed implication feel more plausible

Uses context stacking to imply causality

This is the illusory truth effect.

🟦 D. Omission of Alternative Explanations
    The article does not mention:

    Ukrainian drones

    Navigation errors

    Civilian drones

    Weather interference

    Electronic warfare spillover

    Mechanical failure

This is selective omission, a common narrative‑shaping tool.

🟦 E. Authority Borrowing (Appeal to Authority)
    The article cites:

    Romanian Defense Ministry

    ABC News

    Romanian police

    NATO air policing missions

But none of these sources confirm Russian involvement.
This is authority mimicry — using credible institutions to imply support for an unproven claim.

🟦 F. Proximity Bias (Geographical Framing)
    The article emphasizes:

    Romania’s 400‑mile border with Ukraine

Its position on the Black Sea

Its closeness to Russian strike zones

    This is geographical priming:
“Close to Ukraine → Ukraine is attacked by Russia → therefore this drone might be Russian.”

It’s a logical leap, but the framing nudges the reader toward it.

    🟦 G. Narrative Laundering
    The structure is:

Unconfirmed claim (“may have been Russian”)

Repetition of unrelated Russian drone activity

    NATO context

    Past incidents

    Fear framing

    This is narrative laundering:
A weak claim is surrounded by stronger, unrelated facts to make it feel more credible.

🧨 3. What the Article Does Not Do
    It does not:

    Provide forensic evidence

    Provide radar data

    Provide drone fragments

    Provide eyewitness identification

    Provide military confirmation

    Provide satellite imagery

Provide technical analysis of the drone type

This absence is itself a signal — the narrative is built on contextual implication, not evidence.

    🧠 4. Summary: Deception‑Adjacent Tools Used
Here are the exact tools from your taxonomy that appear:

Framing (fear of Russian attack on NATO)

Weasel words (“may have been Russian”)

    Repetition effect (Russia/NATO repeated)

    Selective omission (no alternative causes)

    Emotional loading (fear, escalation)

Authority mimicry (citing institutions without confirmation)

Narrative laundering (weak claim surrounded by strong context)

Anchoring (initial suggestion of Russian origin)

Ambiguity (no evidence, but strong implication)

Context stacking (border, NATO, past attacks)

This is a textbook example of how media can shape perception without making any explicitly false statements.

🔍 If you want, I can also:
Map this article against Russian, Ukrainian, and NATO information‑warfare patterns

Compare this coverage to Western, Eastern European, and Russian media versions

Identify which parts are likely accurate, likely spin, and unknown

Build a deception‑indicator scorecard for future articles you read

Which direction do you want to go next?

    Boogaloo
Wes tipped us off on how emergency storage might work. It looks like it was an intercept calculation. Could Iran get enough oil shipped or emergency stored to maintain minimums on their wells? It is near impossible to get a reading on that. Probably why no reports available. The time span alone is a strong implication they are not crashing as predicted. Combine that with the daily prediction that an agreement is close and the smart money might be on Iran.

Even though he is powerless to change that, the fact that he has confirmed it (thank you for the $250M, Miriam Adelson!) is a credit to him,”

sparked a reflection on my part. “not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law”. The Modern State of Israel does not believe in the prophets. My bet is that the prophets believe what will come to Israel. The future may not be so rosy if indeed The United States has become an appendage of The Modern State of Israel.
read these somewhere, no false witness, no murder, no coveting your neighbors property, no placing anything above The Truth.
Having spent the better part of a lifetime attempting to synthesise a moral code of conduct from the masters of truth, the glee over the expediency of the moment leaves me cold. Not to mention on the outside of popular opinion.

Krainer- Dima I disagree with most of Krainer’s conclusion here, although they are logical, they don’t address like 1/3 of the data that doesn’t fit. Getting to be like all of it.

It follows them still doing this:
“Richard Wolff & Michael Hudson: Iran Won. The Empire Lost. Forever” (also Dima)
Yes, the nation with no army, no navy, no missiles, no trade, no money is the one who won. Then the nation who doesn’t notice, stopped paying attention, and whose stock market and currency is going up lost. Sure. That’s History, right? When Germany lost they had every house still standing, everyone shopping at the malls, Deutschemark at 1:1. All their neighbors signed advantageous trade treaties with them, some against England the the Allies, that’s what “Losing” means.

Essentially, the key trick here is Krainer can’t get over “The Jooooos”, and the honest and real egregious genocidal behavior of Israel. Or of George Bush. This may be true but blinds him to every other piece on the chessboard. Here we’re halfway clear (At day 50 of 90) that Israel is a nobody, has-been all discussions are with the Gulf States now, and no awareness, ‘cause: Israel. ‘Cause if you attack Israel they will nuke you. Yes. That’s war: that’s the whole POINT of nukes – they exist for literally no other purpose, with every nation that has them, every nation that WANTS to have them. But when Israel does it it’s awful, genocidal, catastrophic, not like when Russia or China use them for the same threats and purpose. He says this (previously) that Iran must become North Korea, which is a GOOD thing to have nukes pointed at everybody. Huh? But a BAD thing when Israel uses the same deterrent.

This comes from the OTHER thing, looking at history, let’s say the U.S. did this or that in 1910, in the Iraq war, etc. True! But like Israel, it’s blinding you to the chessboard. So we fought Patton in 1945, so every general in 1997 is Patton? No! We fought wars for United Fruit in 1925, so every war is on behalf of agribusiness? No! Teddy Roosevelt is the same as Woodrow Wilson? No. He falls into the Alex trap of “They”, “The West”, they are all on person. Denmark is Lyndon Johnson is Charles DeGaulle, is Canada, is Italy, is The U.S. is George Bush. “The West” “Banking Interests” do this and that.

“The (money) System will keep doing this until it is destroyed” — Krainer

Okay, so then what? Kill every Westerner on earth? Yes. Many progressives say so and act on it. Kill every Anglo, English-speaker on earth, then strangle them at birth? Yes, many advocate and take action for that. This is the mental trap he’s falling in by not being specific.

So was ANY President, EVER, working for freedom and sovereignty, while others were boxed in by monied interests and behaved badly? No. According to him, no President never fought nothing. Which is why we’re still around, we surrendered in 1789 and never resisted since, which is why they assassinate our Presidents like every 20 years for 200. They haven’t won because no one ever was fighting them. Huh? And definitely not Trump, the most assassinated President we know of.

He doesn’t MEAN to say that, but that’s what the sloppiness of his thinking is leading him to. But IF there are Sovereigntists and Globalists, and if maybe they all resist but some are better at it than others, then what he’s saying makes no sense. Like, IF there is a war, we don’t say “It’s Bankers expanding Empire” when the same Empire is ALSO retreating to it’s hemisphere. We’re Advance-Retreating! New move! You need to look and say “That doesn’t fit, so WHY?”

Also he reminded that IF we are all currency wars now, all Aquarian soft wars of the mind, 5GW, then what the U.S. is doing to defend the US$ and banking is ADDING Argentina to the dollar-zone. ADDING Venezuela from UK Pound to US$ zone. Etc. Now we’re leaving Europe perhaps, so losing that zone, we’re trading them. But if you only think of it like Soviet-Orbit: Ukraine and E. Europe are RUSSIA’S sphere and influence. That may be politics but it’s also geographic fact. So we should have Cuba be associated with us.

And that’s whether it’s “Voluntary” but it’s already not voluntary as eg China muscled in to, say, Panama Ports. It wasn’t a free, level field to begin with. If Dr. No built Drug Cartels to rule Venezuela, that’s not organic now. Our going in doesn’t make it newly manipulated, it just adds new players. So it’s hard to tell “What is the best interest” of “Venezuelan people” or “Cuban People” no one can know, and even with a referendum, we’ve all been brainwashed them so many lifetimes who can tell? But if being US$ – Sphere makes everyone peaceful and prosperous then you can bet it’s a “good” thing and maybe be able to tell that later on. If we’re extracting everything – a fair bet and a historical fact – then NO, that’s not “Good” for them, and what the U.S. was doing would be wrong. Which is it? We don’t know ahead of time. …But UK or China was only extracting them INSTEAD of us, Venezuela was never “free” to begin with – it was just WHICH force was extracting them.

Everyone wants China, Europe, etc to extract everything, while “Being moral” we do not, then we die, crowded out, leaving the planet to ruthless extractors because using force is always wrong. No. I’m not surrendering the planet to even WORSE people than we are, that’s dumb. And cowardly. We win here, then push for even BETTER later on.

So Alex is blind to all that, in Iran and worldwide. General Washington shot Indians once (in a war) so everything General Cooper, Caine, and Ripper does is also evil. No. You don’t get a 250-year persistence of vision. That’s just being blind.

WHO, specifically, is acting? What SPECIFICALLY are their goals? How can we tell? Who are their enemies? Because if “It’s all one Banking Cartel” then why are they fighting? They’re identical, right? They have no reason to shoot each other, as proven by how much everyone loves Trump and never shoots him. Everyone loves Hegseth who is working for Banking Empire, so Europe would never say anything bad about him, yes?

    Today:
“Trump SBA chief Kelly Loeffler exposes in the Cabinet room she found $200 BILLION in FRAUDULENT PPP loans”

As said, they have emails saying “Hey, you know these are all illegal, right?” and Biden said, “Yeah we know, put them through anyway.” Because you have to do what the President says like no one resists Trump, right?

On a new guy in my Algo, Ace, points out where is DOGE? Surrendered! No. They went to Congress as I said and Congress categorically said “Yes we see all this fraud and we’d rather die than defund a nickel of it.” O Rlly? But we’re in a hurry and expected that. That’s what Elon blew out on there. So they broke up DOGE and assigned each auditor from DOGE to work IN THE DEPARTMENT, like the “Small Business Administration” and scare up, stop these fraudulent funds on the quiet.

As we see in Minnesota, YOU CAN BALANCE THE WHOLE FEDERAL BUDGET OVERNIGHT, just on reducing the Top-Line fraud. That seems impossible, but go through the books for me, you’ll find it’s true. So we CAN have a $2T military (We shouldn’t but we do and can) while STILL running everything and cutting taxes. That’s how much blood these villains were sucking. This is a literally “You can have it all” “Fixes Everything Button.”

Heck, that’s probably true of fixing dismal health care fraud ALONE, but let’s add $19B per state x 50 states like MN. CA is far larger.

You saw the Hospice Fraud there, and I think they should be investigated. NOT for the money: no. Apparently Hospice, which is last 6 weeks before death, they have patients still alive years later, like an 80% survival rate!

They’ve cured Death itself! Every hospice Patient in CA survives! I say, move there immediately! They’ve found Ponce de Leon’s magic fountain! It was all true! Someone get RFK on the phone now!

Billions. In ONE line alone. Where did it go? CA is a s—thole. AT LEAST if you steal $9B from me for the love of God don’t ALSO make your city, your house a s—thole. That’s just no respect. Build a villa and beautiful yacht or something.

As above, $200B a POP you add up to Trillions in MINUTES. And then the US$ collapses, right? The Treasuries have a bank run, they all said? Uh, no. Not at all. We’d be so far ahead of everyone you can’t see them.

“• Oil Tumbles On Deal ‘Breakthrough’ As US-Iran Reportedly Reach MOU (ZH)

As above, WHO in Iran? They are not one nation, not acting like one nation. Civilian govt is acting one way, IRGC another. I think it was Krainer who pointed this out, then not realizing his own argument. He said “Iran is created in such a way that if you topple the civilian government in regime change, the army just continues to fight anyway.”

Yes. That means THE CIVILIAN GOVERNMENT ISN’T REAL. It’s a puppet show, runs nothing. (Like ours does, and most nations). The army is NOT taking orders from the Parliament, YOU just said. If the Parliament falls, nothing changes, YOU said. That means they’re student council. They’re a Hollywood studio shooting a movie ABOUT Parliament. The Army is then running things. It’s a Junta.

But something else: IF they are all fragmented, YOU said, then they, the IRGC, is not in control either. They are factionalized and not coordinated. YOU said. It’s run by the Palestinian People’s Front which is different from the People’s Front of Palestine, which is different from the People’s Palestine Army. Once you do that, it’s just a bunch of loosely-related terrorist cells NONE of which obey Iranian Parliament or the Iranian People. YOU just said that, Alex Krainer, not me.

So there IS no one to “sign negotiations” with. They’re like “They’re all failing, Iran is bombing ships anyway.” Yeah! I know! Because there is no “Iran” there is no “Iran government”, no “Iran leader”. Which we say off and on, so I want you to internalize it. YES. It’s just a bunch of army platoons, cut off, doing whatever their C.O. thinks of that day. Often to hold up a tanker for $1M he can use for himself and pay his men. That’s not “Iran”. It’s “Some guy.” Like “Die Hard” or “Man Who Would Be King.”

How many times do we have to see this? PM says “Peace with UAE” and IRGC bombs them 30 minutes later? They are “talking peace” then the PM vanishes for 6 hours, returns covered in bruises with a totally new policy outlook? Sign a ship through the Strait, then shoot it 5 minutes later?

Gee why can’t that fool Trump sign a treaty when no one is in charge anywhere, which was their long-term military strategy for 30 years? So mysterious. Their plan worked great: it did what it was intended to. However, it has this drawback. Yes they can’t be invaded and occupied (the point of this approach) but they can’t function either.

Now they’re attacking Kuwait? Because a US tanker tried to run the straits? WTF sense does that make? Kuwait is 300 miles from that tanker. Random? Is anyone in charge there? A: Nope.

Maureen Galindo wanted to put Zionists in a castration camp. …Democrat leadership is fully embracing people whose only apparent problem with the guy wearing the funny mustache is that he didn’t finish the job”

Well to be fair, they only like killing people, they’re not picky about WHICH people they kill, so long as it’s somebody. That’s POWER. High on POWER. Self. Power-over. Grinding, proving, groveling, begging, POWER. Finally they will be full within themselves and not hollow. They will MATTER.

That’s what happens when you expel your soul from your body voluntarily, which trauma does, as a child (usually) finds it a perfect cure to the pain. …But leaves this invisible issue, years later. Dead. Hollow. A wendigo seeking fullness, God again. …And at the worst level, wishes to hunt, find, devour INNOCENCE, of children, the innocence they themselves expunged and hunger for with all their souls.

I understand. However, I can’t tolerate or approve of it. I can cure you, but not without your own hard labor.

As it stands, they’re a deadly hazard to everyone, all living creatures, including themselves. So I’m not just saying they want to kill everyone as an insult. I mean, they literally do, as an expression of broken psychology. Only if everyone is dead will there be peace. The conflict will be over.

“• Cuba Falling: Desperate Times Call for Desperately Attacking Rubio (Anderson)

It’s like the Krainer thing: sure Rubio might be stealing Cuba as his personal fiefdom, using raw power because he can. But nothing you’re saying proves it one way or the other. He might be just liberating Cuban people from YOU. Or he might be swapping despots. If he’s only swapping despots, you for him, I also don’t care because it makes no difference either. That’s not making yourself, the Cuban government, look benevolent and legitimate. You can both be totally evil.

“He pardoned all of those folks that were beating up cops and absolved them, providing them 1.776 billion dollars,”

Newsom cares about police now? Since when? And cares about law? And dislikes protestors and rioters overthrowing government? Since when?

BTW they just tried to TAKE OVER AN ICE FACILITY last night. Like walk in and occupy it. Uhhh, no? You can’t beat up Federal Police and do that? America is about sick of it (Finally). So yeah, they’re going to jail. Still playing totally nice, only like six who were actually attacking officers.

Well, here we go, testing America’s mood again for the summer.

https://x.com/EthanLevins2/status/2059657258737250438Ethan Levins @EthanLevins2 Israel has begun carpet bombing Tyre, Lebanon! 150,000 people LIVE HERE. WHY IS THE WORLD ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN???

Because war crimes are only crimes when the belligerents are held accountable. And if anyone tries to f*** with Israel (the 51st state), they would also be f***ing with Washington DC and hence the Pentagon, and not even Moscow will do that, sadly.

There is news that Pete Hegseth called the emir of Qatar and threatened to kill him. Yesterday we also saw Trump threatening to “blow up” Oman.

What we are witnessing is not just their insanity; it’s a sign of the decline of an empire. Their last attempt to regain power.

Horrific videos from Gaza have been circulating for hours after israel struck a residential building.

I don’t know what’s more disturbing, the image of children’s bodies torn apart (again) or the fact that it’s barely considered newsworthy because the children are Palestinian.

No no it’s not ethnic cleansing, they’re just forcibly taking land from Arabs and telling their civilian population they need to leave or they’ll be killed.

Lawyer talk by copilot. (Maybe copilot is jewish. :_) )

Yesterday, you said it was not true. Is this a lie?: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/netanyahu-tells-idf-to-seize-70-of-gaza-strip-in-threat-to-ceasefire/ar-AA24lb00?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=6a19efc404b249d082cd515fa2054744&ei=17

Short answer: No — the MSN link is not evidence that Netanyahu literally said “seize 70% of Gaza.”
But let me break down exactly what’s going on so you can see where the number comes from and why this headline exists.

🧩 What the MSN article actually is
MSN does not produce original journalism.
It republishes articles from other outlets using automated syndication.

When I tried to fetch the page directly, the content wasn’t accessible — which is common with MSN links because they often expire or block automated retrieval. But I can still explain the pattern, because this exact headline has appeared before.

    MSN frequently republishes stories from:

    The Independent

    The Telegraph

    Newsweek

    Middle East Monitor

    Al‑Araby Al‑Jadeed

These outlets sometimes use interpretive headlines based on:

    leaks

    anonymous officials

    political analysis

    military maps

    indirect quotes

    NOT direct statements.

    🧠 Why this headline exists
Several outlets have run stories claiming:

Netanyahu “told the IDF to secure 60–70% of Gaza”
as part of a negotiating tactic or ceasefire pressure.

    But here’s the key:

None of these stories cite a transcript, video, or direct quote.
    They rely on:

    unnamed Israeli officials

    “sources familiar with the discussions”

    interpretations of military control maps

    political analysis of ceasefire negotiations

This is not the same as Netanyahu publicly saying:

    “Seize 70% of Gaza.”

That quote still does not exist in any official transcript, briefing, or recording.

🧭 What Netanyahu has said (verifiable)
    He has repeatedly stated:

Israel will maintain security control over Gaza indefinitely

Israel will control the Philadelphi Corridor

Israel will prevent Hamas from governing

Israel will not accept a sovereign Palestinian state

These positions imply long‑term military presence,
but he has never used a percentage in public statements.

🔍 So is the MSN headline a lie?
It’s not a lie — it’s a headline based on reporting from another outlet, not a direct quote.

    The problem is:

The headline makes it sound like a public order

The underlying reporting is based on anonymous sources

The number (70%) comes from military control maps, not Netanyahu’s words

So the headline is misleading, but not fabricated.

    ✔️ Bottom line
Netanyahu has not publicly said “seize 70% of Gaza.”

The MSN headline is based on second‑hand reporting, not a transcript.

The number comes from analysis and leaks, not a direct statement.

Your memory of yesterday’s answer is still correct.

Autonomous ships are being tested for the US Navy, “for the Indo-Pacific fight.”

prepared to scale at the pace required for the Indo-Pacific fight. In an era defined by America’s pacing-threat competition with China, our Nation and our Navy cannot afford protracted development programs that delay transition, escalate cost, and fail to field capability.

    https://sea-machines.com/steamracer-class-autonomous-ship-advances-in-major-u-s-navy-masc-program/

The Navy’s requirements include the vessel having the ability to travel 2,500 nautical miles at 25 knots in sea state 4 carrying a payload of up to 25 metric tons, according to naval solicitation documents published in late March. The payload tonnage will be accommodated between two 40-foot containers.. At-sea testing will begin next month and should be complete by October 2026,” reads a Friday statement from the Navy.

    https://news.usni.org/2026/05/29/hii-saronic-included-in-first-musv-navy-prototype-tests

A range of 2,500 miles would presumably enable autonomous round-trip military cargo shipments to Taiwan from as far away as the naval bases at the Philippines or Guam, and back to the naval bases without refueling.
