Let’s look a little at the history of Sudan.

When I was born, there was a place called the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan – until 1956. Egypt got rid of its king – who was British-supported – in 1952. For Egypt, a republic, to have a colony in the Sudan was unacceptable so they split it off. A few months later, the Israelis, British and French invaded Egypt – and the Americans (Eisenhower) made them pull out.

Sudan was now independent and things continued much the same as before with the army composed entirely of northerners (Muslims) and the southerners (Christians and Animists) essentially the slave class. In Sudan – like in many other places – the whiter you are, the better.

Inevitably, a civil war started south versus north – because the oil was largely in the south. Eventually, some sort of truce took place and they decided how to divide the spoils. More recently, the south has been suffering from a new civil war – this time between different tribes in the south.

In a piece of magnificent irony, it seems that the European Union is now paying the northerners to keep southerners who are trying to move to Europe in concentration camps. The guards of these camps are essentially the same people who treated southerners as slaves to be exported to places like Saudi Arabia. The same people who were demonized in Western media not so very long ago.

I hope you can all now see a pattern. Africa is going to be split up into ever smaller parcels where all “outsiders” will be persecuted until they leave and rejoin their own tribe.
