Voting does not result in getting the best option, Voting is the process selecting, getting a majority, of the options presented for a vote.

Forgot to mention earlier that J&J compared the 60.000 participants in its vaccine trial to a’small village’, and I wondered what the population in larger villages in J&J land is.
This US election is bizarre as there is only one candidate : Trump.
People will vote FOR Trump or AGAINST Trump. Others will vote just on party lines. I just can’t see people voting FOR Biden.
I suspect replacing Biden with a dead turkey would not affect the outcome by much!

If you watch this video by Dr. Chris Martenson, you just might come away from it thinking that even if many Covid patients were masking, there might be a lot more Covid patients without masking policies. Remember, the idea behind masking is to afford a measure of protection not to yourself, but to the elderly and people with chronic conditions you encounter in public places.
Even if I’m wrong about face-masking, the only real harm it does is to the egos of right-wing special snowflakes. Compelling people to accept a jab of a vaccine that hasn’t been properly tested, however, is another matter entirely. In such a situation, the government doing the compelling very well could and very likely would be forcing people to take something into their bodies that has the potential do serious and egregious harm. There would be nothing rational whatsoever about such a policy.

So what they’re saying is, “My side right or wrong.” “My side” being like Jr. High School girls “me and my tribe, whoever I let in the treehouse today”, for example, Farrakhan AND the Jews, AND the Muslims, AND the gays. Until it isn’t. Then they round you up in prison, like DeBlasio. Their words, sentences, paragraphs, outlook, paradigms, make no sense at all.
Don’t credit their “Left – Right” whoever when they claim a person is such without bothering to find out. They are adult Americans who are speaking. In the media. Therefore they are lying. Their brains have melted into mush, which is what happens when you tamper with and erase the definitions of words.

Ah but you’re wrong: the medieval man totally understood his world and his place in it. I’m not sure modern man thinks they do. This is just a way to say again: “We’re better than you, progress, evolved, ** I ** am smarter than all our fathers combined.” Therefore EGO, we can’t return to the things we once did that worked. While we clear-cut the world, clear the seas, release 40,000-year poisons over whole continents, re-instate slavery, live organ harvesting, and commit multi-million mass murder and for no discernable reason year after year. Eyes wide opened this AM. The ‘Kidnapping Dissent’ article is today’s show stopper. The FBI is leveraging opportunities created by “extremist capitalist oligarchs” to exploit us – you can see it in real time unfolding in the Whitmer case (which is beginning to look like entrapment with the FBI leading the charge). Examining the role of the FBI in this case should be enlightening.
The article starts out by handing us the answer to yesterday’s question: How is it that folks come around to support issues/candidates/parties/banks/markets/industries/institutions/media/individuals that undermine their own self-interest?

Who are you arguing with? Everyone here probably wears a mask when they go out in public (minus when you’re just walking outside), so who are you trying to convince? We’re following the “rules”, is believing what i’ve been told about this now part of following the “rules”? I only ask because it seems like all of your comments have to do with masks.
With regards to a vaccine, i wonder if the elites will do the same with that as they did when “drinking” the water in Flint Michigan a few years back.

Ultimately, I blame David Lynch (Twin Peaks) and Chris Carter (X-Files): both are major culprits in the rise of the federal agent to pop star status. It’s not hard to imagine that, from the 90’s onward, every starry-eyed boy and gal entering the Bureau were imagining themselves righting all the world’s wrongs, blowing out machinations, conspiracies, rotten oranges (see what I did here?), bat soups and werewolves.

How I wear my mask:
With contempt. On my wrist. Under my chin. Tucked daintily in my top pocket. Over and over and over again. Never in front of a child.
When I need to respect a business that asks me to wear it (politely- it’s not their fault) I pull it out from the bottom so I can breathe.
On a busy day out and about, I see a few dozen of them littering the sidewalks and streets. I think I’ll start collecting them in a clear plastic bag and carry it with me. I can wash the fancy ones and sell them: Recycled Masks- Cheap!There’s a scene in a Heinlein novel where the protagonists get off the spaceship and have to buy oxygen. “You thought the air was free?” asks one of the other.
I do not wear a mask because I want to protect anyone from anything. I wear one because a fake law says I have to.

A long time back, I spent a couple days reading thousands of comments from people in Pennsylvania, where a law was proposed (enacted?) that made children responsible for the debt of their parents.
Parents do not always love their children, but children instinctively think they do. When kids figure out the truth, there is some bitterness, to say the least. These were some very bitter children. Pennsylvania was going to have a hard time enforcing such a law.
A CON is when someone gets you trust them and ends up leaving you bitter, resentful, humiliated, furious.
When the bill comes for this fake pandemic, there are going to be some bitter, resentful, humiliated, furious people. I hope.The WHO; the CDC; your devoted public servant: THEY DO NOT LOVE YOU. They do not have your best interests at heart. Stop trusting them.
It is not compassionate to leave oldsters alone in the hands of the deeply caring folks [/s!!!!] at “care” homes. It is not altruistic to maim the psyches of young people. It is not compassionate to put unhappy families in a jar and then shake it. It is not altruistic to trash livelihoods while making the overlords richer.The numbers have never supported the response.
