We need the uplifting natural world stuff after reading and viewing all the thoroughly depressing and utterly destructive stuff that a large sector of a species of greedy apes are engaged in.

Apparently Russia has 82,000 with previous military experience on their way to the frontline, and is ramping up production of the very successful drones. It is also offering employment possibilities in the Ukraine battle zone to NATO-trained Afghans left in the lurch and without income when the Americans suddenly left Afghanistan without even informing their ‘allies’.

Been saying for a long time, with the US as a friend, who needs enemies. In fairness to the Americans who do not support global oppression, let’s say, with the US military-industrial-financial complex as a friend, who needs enemies.

It has been reported that the next 100,000 Russian military cohort will be added in a month or so. And another 100,000 early in 2023.

More than doubling the size of the denazification forces, along with additional kit, should see the whole NATOstan faux narrative collapse by Easter. That’s if the NATOstan nations don’t suffer economic and social collapse by Christmas.

By the way, in case you missed it, the Scorpion’s plane broke down in Antartica. And a woman threw a sword at the Scorpions electoral office window.

Wondering what next week will bring. Certainly nothing good from the vampire/scorpion class.

Amazing how so-called leaders are willing to throw their old core-convictions overboard, in this case free speech. Not for the first time, I am sure it happened in previous wars, but we are supposed to be pretending that we are not at war.

If we play pretend, then obviously they are not leaders, because otherwise they would have found a way to drag everybody with them to keep their core convictions. Also obviously, these were not core convictions, they were window dressing used to pretend that they had real “red line” principles, but now we know that was never true, they were always just lying …. and probably fiddy fiddling looking at the historical record.

If we are honest then we would realise they are too cowardly to fight the Russians head on. They know they will lose, so they are turning this into a propaganda war hoping that they will wear out the Russian people and turn them so that they throw out Putin. Basically they want to do with Russia what they have done in Ukraine: implement a third-world coup, kill a load of innocent civilians, scare the civilians shitless so that they don’t protest (the Duterte treatment), then steal everything.

“I think globalization is done for a period of time,” Bunge CEO Greg Heckman said in a call yesterday. “When we had a supply problem or a demand surge globally, every origin port and every destination was available to solve that problem in the past. That’s no longer true.”

Archer-Daniels-Midland ($ADM) also warned of uncertaintly coupled with profits that have nearly doubled this year. The company reported earnings of just over $1 Billion, up from $526 million during the same period last year.

“We have very good momentum going into 2023,” ADM Chief Executive Juan Luciano told investors. “But what we see is a very uncertain world.”

Agriculture experts say we will need two or more good crop years in North and South America to relieve the tight food supply situation. Mother Nature is not cooperating. More rain will be needed to water crops and boost low water levels on the Mississippi River, Great Lakes’ St. Lawrence Seaway and Argentina’s Paraná River so grain barges can operate but too much rain could drown crops and reduce yeilds.

Three key amoxicillin manufacturers — Hikma Pharmaceuticals, headquartered in the United Kingdom; Sandoz, based in Switzerland; and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., headquartered in Israel — are reporting shortages of the antibiotic, according to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, which maintains a database of drug shortages.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/science/science-news/pharmacies-are-reporting-shortages-widely-used-antibiotic-amoxicillin-rcna53476

LONDON, Oct 27 (Reuters) – Surging energy costs in Europe risk accelerating an exodus of companies critical in the manufacture of essential medicines, further endangering drug supply chains hit by shortages at the height of COVID-19, drug ingredient makers say.

Essential medicines are crucial in treating long-term conditions as well as for surgical procedures. They are also typically off-patent, and sold at the lowest possible prices set by national health agencies or insurers’ associations in European Union member states allowing only the most cost-efficient suppliers to survive.

A whole lotta talk about Russia and the US and their gas hegemony and subsequent power plays ignore that Australia exports considerably more (at least 3 times more!) than the supposed super producer of Russia.
I think we are now ahead of Qatar (which has been flat for ages) as no 1.

So no; China and india do NOT need Russian gas, but it’s cheap so they will take is.

    METHANE

Clare Daly shows how ‘believers’ lose all intelligence when talking about the environment. They do not question but just blindly spout the dogma.

It took me a few seconds to find out that methane is only 2 parts per MILLION in the atmosphere and so it is not worth spending a single dollar in ‘fighting’ it.

It surprised how little methane there is as it is a byproduct made by microbes as they recycle organic matter, which will be occurring over most of the Earth. A different mechanism creates vast quantities of methane below the Earth’s surface.

I would have thought that 1 part in 500,000 would be about a day’s supply. Methane is extremely flammable so I would not expect it to last in the atmosphere for long, and it obviously doesn’t.

It is disturbing that something that is so obviously ‘not an issue’ has joined the list of boogy-men created to frighten us into making sacrifices which diminish our lives.

Trying to gin up a war with China: how’s this for a theory? They’re broke and need to steal China’s overseas dollars the same way they just bought a few months stealing Russia’s. Now THAT’S plausible.

Refinery fires. A lot of them. But is it more than usual? What does it mean? Okay, here’s a rumored data point though: like fertilizer plants and US LNG ports, they aren’t fixing them. Or aren’t in any sort of urgency about it. Thots?

I was thinking, even if there’s no supply chain, and/or no money, refinery companies would be screaming for free money to “help”. They’re not? They don’t like free Congressional, national security money? Huh.

I’m interested in how Sevestapol rebuffed the undersea drones. Also, near-continuous fly-over from U.S. planes, targeting and orchestrating the whole thing. …But we’re not in the war. Uh-huh. I’m sure Russia totally takes our word for it, and doesn’t blow up any refineries or anything. Petrol now rising in the supply-constrained NE bubble. …Constrained bc they refused pipelines, power lines, and power plants for 50 years. After shutting down their extensive railroads.

“a voice of reason. But they still have to resort to blatant lies:”

Also, what’s a “Double down”? That has wide but unspoken implications and prejudice. We’re at a point where reporters, and probably the rest of us, don’t even know HOW to write without bias, having never seen it before. “He said”. “He mobilized.” The end.

Moscow orchestrated” Lie. Bias. “illegally annex” Lie. Bias. Arguable. “Congress have not done enough” Lie. Bias. They did nothing and/or actively prevented it.

Every word is a lie because their mind paradigms are constructed of other lies. If they weren’t, they’d be fired. .: If they said it, it’s a lie.

““Europe was by far the largest market, the largest client for Russia, and Russia lost this client forever.”

So? Here’s a mind paradigm that nations are corporations. Why? Because he’s never seen anyone or anything not for sale before. No, a nation does not have to be a corporation. They can just stay in their self-sufficient borders and leave 200 other nations the h—l alone, not sitting on them with military bases.

“Russian oil and gas revenues will drop by more than half in the coming years, from around $75 billion last year to less than $30 billion in 2030.”

A mere $30B? That sounds pretty easy to cover.

“So to replace the natural gas exports to Europe with Russia is, in the short term, a pipe dream.”

Sure, and they know that, and in the meantime, Europe replacing natural IMports is a pipe dream. Who do you think will better endure the middle period of living modestly, or even rough? A: Europe is already cracking and there’s not even cold and hunger yet. Nor do they have a Siberian forest to burn in their tile stoves in London.

We are in the middle of the first truly global energy crisis.”

No, you’re in the middle of an energy attack. Europe got up one day and said, “Hey! Let’s not have any energy anymore. Won’t that be a riot?” They can stop any moment they like which means there is no crisis, the crisis is false.

“unprecedented depth and complexity in terms of energy, with a profound reorientation of international energy trade”

They said it, therefore lie. It’s very simple: Europe is broke and didn’t want to pay. So they stopped buying and in fact stole all Russian money, and is looking to steal all of China’s. That IS a profound reorientation in that Europe, being broke, is a useless nobody with no options, while the rest-of-world is having no trouble going around them to other customers and other shipping locations. Sorry to Europe. But admitting it is the first step, bc you’re in SERIOUS, <<le plus maximum>>, danger.

” US LNG Cannot Replace the Russian Natural Gas that Europe Has Lost (OP)”

Why would it? They’re broke and can’t pay for our gas anyway. Coincidentally, our to-Europe LNG terminal blew up and we’re not fixing it. No one notices, we keep our own gas for winter. We’re also doing a direct frontal attack on Europe with bond rates, headed to 6%, fastest in history, even if we’re not doing a direct deadly attack on Germany with NordStream.

Therefore, European demand will need to fall, Timera Energy said.”

“Good news, kids! The cupboard is bare! Therefore, no one will eat. Isn’t it wonderful how simple that is?” Somehow I suspect THEY are not going to be the first houses and businesses and cars shut off.

““a world without superpowers”, still in need of “a system of self-regulation,”

Think about the implications of this. No superpower means no superpower’s currency. Or banking center. The “System” of “self” regulation must therefore be a non-empire, probably non-state currency. Usually gold, but could be lots of things these days. Go the other way: how could the reserve currency persist in the ABSENCE of the global empire, backed by a competent, non-constantly-failing Army? Or if the Pentagon and NATO fail everywhere they’ve ever been, can’t even beat goatherders, is that the reliable basis for a currency?

US$ backed by “Faith and Confidence”? Maybe, or maybe once. But actually, like all governments, it is FIRE, it is FORCE, it is backed by VIOLENCE and murder: “War is a Racket”.

“allowed Ukraine to resume its Black Sea grain exports, which had been blocked when Russia invaded”

Passive tense. If passive tense is used, assume it’s a lie. If they use words, it’s a lie. It “had been blocked” but not by “Russia” but by their own badly-deployed sea mines which floated all over the 4,000 sq miles, all the way to Turkey, threatening everybody and everything. Russia had nothing to do with that one.

Lie: the Black Sea grain exports were going to Europe, who is attacking them, to pay Ukraine, who is in a war with them. And Russia LET THEM OUT, voluntarily, and you IMMEDIATELY attacked and thought you could get away with it? What is this s—t? If your rival and enemy is doing a favor that’s good, I don’t know what you think you’ll get by attacking them for it. …To say nothing of using same ships to re-import major explosives from outside.

“Still no investigation results. Top secret.”

Just like Covid. We know because we never looked, never will, and all the documents we have are redacted, can be read in 75 years. That’s how you can be sure we’re innocent and true!

“British Navy Involved in Nord Stream 2 ‘Terrorist Attack’ – Russia (RT)”

Kinda. As I’ve said, the Anglo way is to lie, re-define, confuse, obfuscate, and proxy such that, in their own tiny, crooked minds, they can justify themselves. So the HMS Navy planned, armed, trained, paid, and set the date of the attack, however, they’re “totally not involved” because they hired two Poles and a Ukrainian to do it using a UAV owned by Kolomoisky for 6 hours, and provided all the aerial surveillance and accuracy. So both sides can say they’re right…if you follow the language precisely, using diplo-speak. A Parseltounge used by soulless lizards.

But okay: if it’s not the Brits, where’s the camera footage? What’s the hold up? We saw Deepwater Horizon bringing up nations of oil from improbable depths day after day in hi-res, real-time, but now we un-invented cameras and don’t know how to go underwater? Because it’s Russia, and Sweden, Denmark, and Germany are fronting for and protecting Russia? Huh? “I don’t think so” LL Cool J / Homey the Clown

German Bailout Of Struggling Energy Giant May Reach €60 Billion – BBG (RT)
At some point, someone will say that is an awful lot of money to keep a bunch of neo-nazis in power.”

Who will say that? The Nazis in Europe like Klaus are the same ones. It would take an outside “someone” like the starving people. And sadly, a strongman like Napoleon. Same as it ever was: France started to “Burn it all Down” to “Build Back Better” as wildly advertised by their social media influencers in 1785. A wonderland of freedom and social justice. Just as everybody said, 5 minutes into power, they went insane, being insane people, and broke literally every thing, and killed every body they could lay hands on when their own stupid ideas had their own predictable failure. Battle Cry: “It’s somebody’s else’s fault!” That barber over there, probably, or must be that war vet. Having broken Every. Thing.; Culture, religion, economy, government, in a riot of pure chaos and anarchy of blood-soaked orgy of “me, me, me” violence, no one COULD go back. Everyone was dead, untrusting, or held fatal grudges.

Therefore there WAS no option but for a strongman who cracked heads with raw, concentrated power to take over. Once he provided order, people saw that as a lesser evil. And once accepted that was the goal, it took mere weeks to restore the French Republic, as happened in Germany, 100 years later: Leon re-instated the French currency and gold standard, under law. That’s it. Boom. Instant prosperity in months as a bunch of hard-living kids who grew up in nothing but violence turned their attention to fixing s—t instead of breaking it. Great!

One problem: Now a charismatic strongman, happy to smash the old order was in charge of a newly-recreated, squeaky-clean, modern efficient state having only new loyalties, not frayed or historic ones. And a rough, hardened, newly-armed military of an extremely large people. …And being the sort of guy who LIKED getting in fights and taking over and organizing things – thus how he got into the state in the first place – he continued his psychology by getting into MORE fights and taking over MORE things.

So if you want to remove the Nazis – who are indeed literal Nazis – and the WEF, and the Old guard of Europe who are behind them, the most likely path is with someone like this. Congratulations. Of course you COULD have a religious reform of the heart, where you recognize evil and refuse to participate in it, standing up peacefully to thousands of murders and millions of beatings and imprisonments instead, as the government falls, bringing Europe to heel under the control of the people. But then Jesus could come back in space ship at the head of an alien invasion too. That doesn’t seem any more likely.

“What now connects most of these newer political entities with Hungary, and indeed its old neighbours, Romania and Austria, is EU membership.”

This is pure nonsense and I don’t grasp what he’s implying. No: if the EU ceased to exist, no one would notice and the interactions between these nations that reach back 2,000 years would scarcely change.

“GM “Paused” Ads on Musk’s Twitter (WS)”

Again: they’re all broke and are directing money to “family” only. In the sense that one Mafia arm only takes from enemies and gives to family. So they’re calculating what they have to do here, but the ROOT of it is that they’re broke. They need to cut spending anyway. When I “spend” to a family member, it’s only a poker chit he never calls or we settle up as a favor. When it’s outside the family, it takes actual cash I don’t have. Because I’m a failure, and totally broke, and the only thing keeping it off is raw violence.

PS, this is the exact same reason Twitter was also broke, failing, and COULD be bought out. They gave nothing but free favors to friends and had no actual business or business model.

You have to understand: corporations no longer make money anymore. They don’t even try. When they don’t, it doesn’t matter, as the money-fountain just directs a CIA contract to them to cover. Like WaPo. That’s Capitalism! No profits, no sales, no bankruptcy!

“Writers, Publishers, Editors Call for Termination of Barrett Book Deal (Turley)”

Such rebels and outsiders. The Resistance. Made up of CIA, FBI, Congress, Nike, Amazon, Lockheed, Exxon…

“Agriculture experts say we will need two or more good crop years in North and South America to relieve the tight food supply situation.”

No it won’t because we no longer have trains or elevators to store it in. That’s what happens when you’re 3rd world infrastructure and your express, written goal is to live in caves and eat bugs.

“UN finds ‘no credible pathway to 1.5C in place”

This from an organization, in a system of organizations, who have been exactly wrong about everything in my entire lifetime. But they know this to the first decimal place. EXACTLY x tonnes of CO2, to the second decimal place. Uh-huh. After none of their climate models worked.

Well, luckily they don’t have any plausible pathway, because their present pathway will kill nearly every human on earth. Instead, it will all happen without any “government”, “rules” or “help.” How? The US lowered their CO2 emissions more than anyone. Why? Because it’s cheaper. And more efficient. Market. Canada lowered their fertilizer use by 1/3. Why? Because it’s cheaper. Why put on stuff that isn’t being efficiently used?

With us, the UN does nothing, wastes money worldwide, supports wars, applauds the Pentagon burning more CO2 than most major nations, flies more private jets than can park at O’Hare, and yet CO2 is falling. Why? Europe’s stupid war. Nothing to do with the UN. Things changed. That nobody planned. AS ALWAYS. This “not-planning” will probably have a greater effect on CO2 than all the hot air and conferences they’ve released for 40 years. All the loveless nagging and scolding they’ve done while never changing a whit in their own lives. Just like Carter, doing one initiative for domestic insulation, had more effect on oil use than all Presidents combined.

But we Must. Not. Do. This. Thing. No!!! No insulation for Europe! Never!!!!!!! (It would reduce sales, GDP, tax revenue, and control.)

    That means:
    No local food.
    No domestic solar hot water.
No home schooling (must have 1h on busses)
No railways, esp not low-speed local support
No canals as they are the most efficient
    No collectivized communities
No 500-year houses (must be disposable)
No enduring Tech (phones, cars, washers must all fail immediately, and we must mock enduring copper-line tech like Russian fax machines)
No coppice trees or methods (we much outprice, cut down, and condo these lands instead, esp in Holland)
No wool or linen, must use plastic.
    No reuse of glass bottles.
    Never recycle lithium.
No ownership of seeds in Europe, must be made illegal.
    And much, much more!

Stop. Protest these things. Never Conserve. That’s what Conservatives do. Never, ever Use it up, wear it out; make it do or do without. Buy more today! Operators standing by!

Maybe, maybe not. I think not–this year’s experience has already demonstrated that lower sales don’t necessarily equal lower revenues. But more importantly for Europe: What other countries will see their revenues drop between now and 2030? Perhaps the former customers who have been forced by their own sanctions to deindustrialize, and thus will no longer produce anything that can be traded?

I appreciate Clare Daly’s words. It is generally accepted by frequenters of TAE that the specific actors responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream come from the same general group (or were directed by the same group) that are responsible for the censorship, the prolonging of the war in Ukraine, the Covid/vax nonsense, and the technocratic response towards “climate change.” By framing the Nord Stream methane release as a “climate catastrophe” perpetrated by the same folks pushing the technocratic climate response, there is potential for the absurdity to jog folks that support the technocrats out of their stupor of thought. This is beneficial for all of us.

If journalists want to learn how to write without bias, all they need to do us dust off 40 year old text books and follow the directions therein for news articles. I was on the high school newspaper in high school and I remember how the text book urged us to write news articles. That was before the existence of “fact checkers.”

= Ukrainian ship with 66% of grain went to the West

🚢From August to October, 350 out of 455 ships with 6.1 out of 9.3 million tons (66%) of Ukrainian grain and its processed products were sent from the unblocked ports of Ukraine to developed countries, Equality calculated according tothe UNand MarineTraffic. 65% of exported products are fodder, i.e. feed for livestock.

Seriouslyhungrycountries, where more than 10% of the population suffers from malnutrition, got only 1.18 million tons (13%) of cereals, including 25% of wheat. In particular, 11 ships with 0.36 million tons of grain (4%) went to the poorest countries of Africa.

    Total – 9.3 million tonnes
    🇪🇸Spain – 1.80 (or 19% of weight)
    🇹🇷Turkey – 1.29 (14%)
    🇮🇹Italy – 0,86 (9%)
    🇨🇳China – 0,84 (9%)
    🇳🇱Netherlands – 0,55 (6%)
    🇪🇬Egypt – 0,42 (5%)
    🇧🇩Bangladesh – 0,27 (3%)
    🇹🇩Romania – 0,25 (3%)
    🇮🇱Israel – 0,24 (3%)
    🇩🇪Germany – 0.22 (2%)
    Other countries – 2.59 (28%)
    –––––––-Western
    countries and NATO – 6.15 (66%)
    Starving countries – 1.18 (13%)The

West has been hysterical for months that Russia has allegedly doomed Africans to starvation by blocking the ports of Ukraine. The “grain deal” assumed that the Russian Federation would unblock the ports so that ships could supply grain to the starving. In fact, Ukraine transported it mainly to Europe and historically exports mainly fodder.

The Russian Federation has 80% wheat in grain exports, but sanctions prevent it from being supplied. The countries of the center of world capitalism do not care much about the hungry, especially since the inequality caused by the current world order remains the main cause of hunger. The word itself is mentioned more than150 times in the FAO report.

On October 29, russia suspended participation in the “grain deal” after an attack on the Black Sea Fleet. Even before the deal was concluded, experts feared ([1][2]) that under the pretext of grain supplies, Kiev was seeking to import weapons. With the unblocking of ports, the US Department of Defense has become more active in supplying Ukraine by sea, WP wrote, without specifying whether we are talking about routes through neighboring countries or ineffective control. There are precedents. It was on the ship, which left Odessa in August, that there were explosives to blow up the Crimean bridge, the FSB found.

In Chisinau, there are again mass rallies with tens of thousands of participants. As usual, they demand the resignation of Sandu and her government, which is destroying Moldova’s already frail economy.
Accordingly, they demand new early elections and normalization of relations with Russia in order to sit with gas and light in the winter, and not to warm up with firewood.

WaPo on the US change of nuke arms doctrine.

    Snippets:

Russia, the documents acknowledge, presents a more “acute” threat, particularly because its president, Vladimir Putin, is actively waging a war in Ukraine and threatening to employ nuclear weapons in combat. (….)

The document also states that while “moving toward a sole purpose declaration” remains a goal, the options its writers considered — including adopting a “No First Use” doctrine — “would result in an unacceptable level of risk.” As a result, it will be left to future Pentagon strategists and the White House to contemplate any eventual moves to articulate potential limits to how far the United States is prepared to go in its developing arms race with China and Russia.

/It took me a few seconds to find out that methane is only 2 parts per MILLION in the atmosphere and so it is not worth spending a single dollar in ‘fighting’ it’

Except that methane has a heat trapping potential of 300 times that of CO2 for time frames that matter. So the 2 ppm of CH4 has a CO2e of 600!

And the current level is three times the pre-industrial level and rising at the fastest pace in history.

But never allow scientific facts to interfere with a political argument, eh?

On the matter of the bollocks report on likely overheating pf the Earth, as long as people quote GDP or the effect on the economy, they have no credibility.

GDP is fraud, and the economy is the problem.

We can have a planet that supports life, or we can have an industrial economy for a little longer, but not both.

We already know that the controllers have chosen to preserve their Ponzi schemes in preference to maintaining the habitability of the Earth. And that is what they will always choose. Therefore, they will keep generating nonsense ‘reports’ until they can’t.

For the sake of life, I am looking forward to the banksters’ Ponzi schemes unravelling in the near future. That said, the transition phase to life without Ponzi will be hellish.

A Tale of Three Narratives, Energy Edition

    * Background
    – We are addicted to high energy use.
    – Each first world citizen has the equivalent of scores of energy slaves.
    – We spend colossal amounts of energy on useless things.
    – Governments and especially militaries are fabulous energy wasters.
    – People and even experts don’t understand energy.

    * The Green Narrative
    – Radical action is required to move to renewable, sustainable energy sources to save the environment from climate change. We need to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 by shifting to renewable energy sources like hydro, solar, wind, tidal and geothermal. Electric cars are our future.
    – Hydrogen can be a green energy source when it is produced from green electricity sources. Nuclear and fusion power are also carbon free and possibly parts of a green energy future. Improving technologies will help solve our energy problems.
    – We need massive investments in green energy. Financial instruments like subsidies, carbon credits and green energy bonds will help us move to a renewable energy future. The world will be better off without fossil fuels.
    – The price of green energy has dropped and is now competitive with fossil fuel energy. Switching to renewables will save most people money. Moving to clean energy will create millions of good paying jobs.
    – By moving to green energy we have a bright future awaiting us.

    * The Abundance Narrative
    – There is plenty of energy but its availability is blocked by those who use energy scarcity to enhance their own power. The real cause of energy insecurity is under-investment in oil and gas. Climate policy is being used as an excuse to limit energy.
    – Energy Cost of Energy is a myth rolled out when energy production is blocked. There are at least 47 years of oil in known reserves in the world and that doesn’t include the trillions of barrels of recoverable shale oil in the US alone. Oil was and is continuously produced by abiotic means in the earth. We will never run out of oil.
    – We need to harness all possible sources of energy including oil, gas, hydro, wind, solar, thermal and tidal energy. Nuclear and fusion power are important parts of our energy solution.
    – Technology will help solve our energy problems. “Clean” energy sources abound within humanity’s grasp. By 2100, we will have quantum reactors creating zero-point energy, air-wired to your car with TeraGigaHertz transmission, and matter synthesizers as well.
    – By using all available sources of energy we have a bright future awaiting us.

    * The Going, Going, Gone Narrative
    – The easily extractable energy is mostly gone. Sane energy policies in the 60’s or 70’s could have mitigated the problems but not much can be done now. New technologies almost always end up using more energy than they produce.
    – Green energy is a mirage. All so-called green energy solutions require fossil fuels as precursors and are not sustainable long term. We don’t have enough lithium, cobalt, etc. for car batteries and our electric grid won’t support charging everyone’s electric cars. People may say they want green energy but are unwilling to significantly sacrifice for it.
    – Infinite growth in a finite world is not possible. We are nearing an energy cliff where there will be drastically less energy available and which will cause an economic depression that never ends. Energy scarcity will be used by those in charge to enhance their own power. We will eventually return to only having local energy from the sun at our disposal, that is, about 1% of the energy we use now. Everything will be mostly local.
    – Our future is not bright. Prepare now.

    @TAE Summary
    Good Presentation.
Here is my list of obstacles.

“When we were young, In the 1970s, we had an oil crisis, but it was only oil.

Now we have diminishing energy, (oil, natural gas, coal, electricity, food),
plus unstable finance, (too much leveraging),
    weather extremes, (drought, floods),
    pandemics,
    supply line distribution,
    political revolts/changes, rejection of liars/deniers,
    racism,
Multiple communication channel of/with/by social networks.
Inflation, (volatile and high energy prices),
    Poor education.
Those with the most will not give up the most to save humanity
and we/someone have to find solutions humanity

    AFAIK:

“When your premises are wrong, you will ask the wrong questions, get the wrong answers, and believe in them”
    Absolutely!
It also helps, when making political arguments and emotional arguments, to ignore all the facts and make up your own shit as a replacement for facts! (as all politicians in NATOstan nations do).

Political arguments? Yes, universal. Scientific arguments? Not on your life. In science we have much-more-readily-available objective facts, which, despite all the politicization of science, totally falsify the standard narrative as it relates to both epidemiological and climate science (both intense in the propaganda-mill over the past few years).
So you in particular should stop ignoring all the important truths, making shit up, and just prattling the Carbon Cult fear-mongering that is being used by those same politicians (as dupes and puppets of their Lords and Masters). It’s not enough to be able to see through the political lies; to not be a dupe yourself you have to be able to see through the “science” lies as well.
The information to accomplish that is as readily available online as the lies, were you to bother to look and dig deeper into the complexities and nuances, and to acknowledge the incomplete nature of contemporary climate science as compared to the specious certainty of the politicized-science lies. So shut up until you do your due diligence. Otherwise you disgrace yourself and undermine your credibility.
What is the origination of your climate blind-spot? Why subscribe to this religion-like folly, that is even more dangerous to our civilization than most of the more-obviously-political lies? In ultimate fact, your politicized version of “climate denial” is just another political lie, and it appears to have fooled you by pretending to wear a white lab coat.
Do you have an emotional fear-fetish that blinds you in this area?
Let us know. Explain yourself (and outside the narrow range of in vitro factoids and fakey “reasonableness” you rely on so far).

    04:20? Why that detail?
“Thanks for Starlink?” “You’re one of us, now, so be a mensch”?
Kinda like when the Russian guy (Volodin) alluded to 9/11. “Truss’s phone proves we know what’s up, and have forever. Want us to spill your beans?”
Potemkin’s bones. What does the word “Potemkin” conjure up? False front?
Sometimes I think there are messages in the propaganda.
