They are the same proposals as Trump’s proposals.
Promises and unachievable goals/objectives/policies due to no income.
September 10, 2024 at 8:18 pm #168682WESParticipantA few rogue MoA comments:
Ukrainian body snatchers all have electronic jamming units on their vehicles so their victims can’t use their cell phones to say that they have been kidnapped!
The Ukrainian Legion, announced with great fanfare, to be based in Poland, was to give those thousands of Ukrainians living in Europe, a chance to fight for the Ukraine. Sadly they got no volunteers.
To keep warm this winter, one commentator, suggested Ukrainians should move closer to a nuclear power plant so they would have electricity to keep warm. The fail safe backup plan is if the nuclear power plants gets blown up, then at least they will be able to keep warm by glowing in the dark!
September 10, 2024 at 10:23 pm #168683aspnazParticipantQuoth the Raven on Hamas supporters (really Palestinian anti-war supporters):
There’s always an argument for peace, and I’ll concede that discussions about minimizing civilian casualties from an Israeli response are just and worthwhile. But in a show of blinding ignorance, supporting terrorist organizations openly in the United States attempts to ascribe a moral equivalency between law-abiding Israelis and radical Islamic terrorists. It may sound uncomfortable for people on the left, but there simply is no moral equivalency, and rather than have a backbone to take a stand on the right side of this issue, almost all Democratic lawmakers (except for John Fetterman) waver in their support of Israel and make excuses for the activists.
To quote the author “in a show of blinding ignorance” Jew-loving Americans equate saving the lives of civilian women and children with support for a terrorist organisation created by Israel. He then goes on to ascribe mental weakness to those not in support of Israel “rather than have a backbone to take a stand on the right side of this issue”, an issue where the USA and Israel are murdering masses of people, but the author can’t see past his love of Jews, so he supports the murder of innocents. The author is an idiot, as blind to the reality seen by the rest of the world as the next American, his kind is the death of America, his kind created Kamala and Trump, I am thankful for his kind, he will accelerate the process.
He says there is no debate and he is right, I support Kamala, simply because the sooner the USA is in the sewer the healthier the world will be and although both Trump and Kamala will both destroy what’s left of America, I believe Kamala will do a more efficient job. But, at the end of the day, the destination is the same regardless of where you cast your vote. The blatant hypocrisy of America’s “what I want is always decent and morally right” will have gone, a day for fresh air in the world, for a while, until the next dictator modelling itself on the USA dictator turns up.

September 10, 2024 at 11:04 pm #168686WESParticipantAh, yes!
I forgot Ceasar’s dressing for Kamala’s word salad!
Probably the best choice!
Even better than Russian dressing!September 10, 2024 at 11:09 pm #168687Dr. DParticipantI’ll bite, yes time has moved on. I’d still just do it the old way, with people who know what they’re doing, near machinists who know what they’re doing — you can’t buy that synergy, and also it’s critical for the OTHER thing: that is, being near the line so the production engineers can also know if it can be scaled up or would cost too much. Then all the PARTS people and SCADA, robot, CNC, are ALSO nearby. Gosh, sounds like a place where people congregate, doesn’t it? Maybe where transportation and cheap energy meet? Then a place where they might be able to have some restaurants, maybe a school?
I hereby declare this mythical nexus of people, ideas, and locations: “A City.” Catchy, I know.
But since everyone is a retard and would never do that, but rather collaborate with people you’ve never met and will never meet again, having no idea if they’re worth hiring, if they’re working at all, and if they do work, unable to work with them again, well,
…You just get a really large fax machine. That’s it.
Do your design on paper and have a really, really large scanner that ships it to the other guy with a really, really large printer. Both these things exist already, although ALSO being a monopoly, are 20x overpriced, don’t work, break, then they refuse to support them for more than 5 years so you can spend ANOTHER $10k on what’s basically…a Brother liquid-ink-runs $30 WalMart printer. Just on big paper. That’s the $9,960.00 markup.
…Or you could overnight drawings Fedex and take the delay for like $50, and still save $9,950.00.
Genius.
September 11, 2024 at 12:32 am #168688kultsommerParticipantGenius.
Every consultant working on the project works on common CAD file and nobody needs your $saving roll of prints! Genius.
Personally, I am fond of hand drafting, Paper feel, swoosh of drafting tools across the board, pencil sharpeners and the control of line thickness by the applied pressure. Drawing is not by default accurate. It relays heavily on your knowledge of math and geometry. While it can be, for sure, stated as “cheesy” it is closest to connection that farmer has with the ground.
Alas, nobody needs that any more!
Rush for efficiency and foremost profits leads to obvious conclusion that your”beloved system” is on the path to enslave us. The main reason I jumped into this topic to start with.
Jay -bee has had some dream “parking lot” in mind, now you came with the “A City”?September 11, 2024 at 12:40 am #168689kultsommerParticipantNow send the reply hand written letter to RIM.
He can easily type it first and post on this panel for everybody to see.
“A City”, indeed!September 11, 2024 at 1:40 am #168690my parents said knowParticipantAll I can think is that Harris’s remote cattle prod (“Get back on topic!!!”) turns out to turn her on, instead, and she keeps speaking.
September 11, 2024 at 3:41 am #168691WESParticipantSo the so called Harris/Trump debate is finally over.
It was probably a good thing for Kamala the debate only lasted 90 minutes.
Kamala’s prep for the debate paid dividends for her early in the debate but this prep could only carry her so far.
As the debate continued, she seem to lose some of her prep’s composure.
Kamala seem to sag while Trump seemed to gain energy towards the end of the debate.
Trump is a natural debater while Kamala isn’t.
Kamala’s respones seemed to slow down as the debate went on, while Trump’s responses grew faster.Kamala wasn’t Joe Biden.
She didn’t win the debate but didn’t lose badly either.
Kamala did well enough that the MSM can run with the narrative that she is a credible candidate so the deep state can steal the election.
Sadly that maybe all that is required to steal the election.Trump did well considering the biases of the 2 ABC narrators.
It was about as good as Trump could hope for.Noticed Kamala reading from a paper during her opening statement with frequent downward glances, while Trump never lost eye contact once with the camera (audience).
Trump did politely but firmly catch Kamala out talking several times while he was talking, a telling moment.
I am not sure Kamala realized the camera would still be on her while Trump was speaking, so her demeanor might not be viewed as positively as she would have like.
Trump’s demeanor was clearly of a more confident person. One was that of a boss.
One was that of a subordinate.Trump fired people!
People are afraid of Trump.
No one is afraid of Kamala.
One deflected and made excuses.
One caught lying excessively.
One is soft on crime.
One is wishy-washy.Kamala’s “plan” as her biggest word salad for the night!
If the debate had lasted another hour, Kamala would have been reduced to only producing word salads!I am sure tomorrow, I will see nothing but MSM headlines of Kamala winning the debate (by not losing).
September 11, 2024 at 4:17 am #168692WESParticipantOh, by the way, Kamala’s husband publically revealed tonight that she received all
of the questions beforehand from ABC.
This explains why she spent so much time prepping and seemed prepared.September 11, 2024 at 2:59 pm #168725NoiretteParticipantJohn Day posted ‘news’ –
UAE Vaccinated 460,000 Children in Gaza Against Polio – Reports (“Live-attenuated-virus” oral Polio vaccine has become the leading cause of Polio in recent decades.)
What the last sentence means is another story, not for now…
Hmm? While many children in Gaza have lost parents, family members, sometimes all of them, their homes, their schools, their toys, their friends, any security whatsoever, even lost some of their limbs, not to mention *all those who have been killed outright?*
And the survivors are desperately hungry and dirty, scrabbling about (lack of water)?
Vaccinating them against Polio is somehow a priority or something to report positively about? Hmm.. so there are still about half a million live children in Gaza?
(Not crit. of Dr. Day, my comment on a ‘report’)
