He’s an irrelevant mascot who is the front of a far larger American sovereignty movement that has been around since Hamilton, but at least JFK, and which would go on with or without him. His major purpose, besides being pretty clever media and negotiating dealer himself, is that he makes the enemy focus on him while everyone else can operate, and who makes the other side constantly react like mindless puppets, revealing themselves. They probably didn’t realize the Progressives would unfailingly fall for this for 10+ years and show themselves to be tirelessly against child safety, oxygen, and law.
They’ve been an incredible bonus for him, almost worth the whole package, which is a thing I can scarcely understand unless they have a self-hating, self-destructive psychology and are suffering such mental psychosis they can never learn. So because they are the ones causing us to win incredibly, I have to put up with his daily shenanigans and failure to arrest thousands of open felons. We can always do that later, if they should ever stop falling for him, which doesn’t seem likely at this point.
Trump will be 94, waving a walker in a nursing home unable to speak, and they’ll still be making up what he’s saying and losing their minds, while sovereigntists, including us American ones, wander around the field unhindered. Do whatever works. I don’t make the rules. Civil War is not the better road.

For the specific quote, it’s now without dispute that Iran is not a peer adversary, but a rounding error exactly as Hegseth suggested, which is sad since a lot of good people including myself took a big “L” when we thought that after 47 years and a trillion dollars, they actually had a military which they clearly don’t. I wasn’t the only one, we haven’t attacked their strengths (why would you) and they can still sink a carrier or something but it’s a caution to how 90/10 wrong experts can be, and usually are. The media proved themselves 99/1% wrong and are still unrepentant. For instance, we lit up their tanker a few minutes ago while hundreds of our ships get through and Iran and the Media (same thing) still report that Iran controls the Straits. They control them by getting lit on fire every day.
I’ll continue to adjust my map for the future but it’s difficult if absolutely EVERYONE is dead wrong, and like 70% of them know or are overwhelming able to know, that they are lying. The U.S. Professor on “How the U.S. has run out of arms and is using washing machines” comes to mind: his thesis is the U.S. hasn’t invented anything since 1970, and that the military always tells the exact truth. If you’re smart enough to breathe air both of those must be false, yet the whole field and all the books are made of nothing but such men. So what’s a poor basement dweller like me supposed to do?
