[See the full post at: Lawlessness]For them, laws are things they use to further their means, nothing else. Other than that, they care nothing for the laws that govern their countries, even though they are the very same laws that allowed them to assume their power.
The rich and the powerful are sending a loud message to all whistleblower .
If you talk about the secrets that we need. (to stay rich and powerful), then you will pay the consequences.To my way of thinking, the man being interviewed here is cut from the same cloth as Julian Assange:
Criminality is fractal. The chief difference between Governments and Mexican drug cartels is scale.
A couple of millennia ago, they jammed thorns into the head of another Assange-like fella, then nailed him to a wooden cross. Because, you see, in the eyes of drug cartels and governments, callous brutality and cowardice reflect virtues.
ROUGE STATES – all of them.
No international law?
Heart breaking. Where is the international or US outcry? Why no big demonstrations? Are all these 5 countries accepted as rouge by their people? This is how we descend into barbarism. How can we save Julian Assange?
This is the Great Decline, the Great Descent into fascism.
To my way of thinking, in general there are three sets of laws globally. There are the laws that apply to the masses. There are the laws that apply to law enforcement personnel. There are the laws that apply to the ruling elite and to a lesser degree their errand boys.
There is really is no reason for hand wringing. There is only one’s path as it unfolds across the uneven landscape.
Wonderfully written piece Ilargi; you hit all the high points as well as the bottom dwellers and scum suckers of our planet.
This is far from a couple of countries’ spat; but rather of a global scope, threatening the freedom of us all.
Our descent into facism has long been predicted and is now a reality for the global west. Our continuing denial is tantamount to complicity.There is only one’s path as it unfolds across the uneven landscape.
Until somebody blocks your path because they claim you’re on the wrong path…
