Check out constitutional lawyer Rocco Galati’s interview regarding his class-action lawsuit against the Canadian federal government over the way it borrows money. Galati discusses how the federal government could have borrowed interest-free money from the Bank of Canada and the consequences of the decision to obtain interest-bearing loans from commercial banks instead.
The Bank of Canada is the only Central bank in the G8 countries that is still a public bank. The rest of the Central banks in the G8 are private banks.
Does anyone know any other countries that still have a public Central bank?
Any ideas about ways of attracting the mainstream media to this lawsuit or similar lawsuits in the future?
