What he is doing, his preparations for for protection in case of disaster I find unsustainable (hungry hordes would, or will, overrun him) however I do think we should make some preparations for some very difficult times ahead. But more emphasis should be on localizing and community building.I hate crowds,
and this new Reality show on Prepping is like Mr. T telling people to invest in gold.
When I see it, I run like hell in the opposite direction.
My feelings thoughts: If I have to go to these lengths, given my life experience, current and expected health/fitness status and education, well – it’s already over and an old fashioned revolver with one bullet will suffice.
My wife and I (is that sexist/paternalistic?) have discussed this sort of stuff on several occasions and whilst we may choose different final resolutions our ultimate conclusion is that it would be pointless trying.
WE are a bigger problem than CME’s from my perspective and this is all a bit of Jungian projection – placing the problem within, without.
