This probably applies to Australia as well.

My sister is 65 years old. She is in very poor health, has a poor paying job, has no assets to speak off, rents her house and lives off her credit card.
The credit card outstanding amount is huge $40 – $50 thousand dollars (who gives people like her credit?)
I have admonished her about this debt and told her one day the credit card reaper is going to come knocking off the door.
She does’t care one bit. When she dies the credit card company can go to hell trying to recover the debt. (By her own admission she thinks she has less than 2 years to go before she goes)

50 years plus ago. The Nightcart came around and picked up your DunnyCan
Loos were out in the backyard against the fence.
The Loo consisted of a seat above a large bin – the “Dunny Bin”
The night cart man came around and replaced these bins when full. They were rumored to lift these cans onto the shoulders when full. Which led to the saying “Flatter than a shit carters hat”
