Today I have spent many hours cutting trees for heating next winter and thinking of you.
Given that I am a nurse, I found myself speculating how do you feel?
That lead to recalling how I felt over the last few years.
As an electronics engineering technologist and computer engineer, most of that life was spent designing embedded firmware and electronics for displays installed in US military equipment. My worldview at that time was the US was good and doing good things in this world and I felt proud of my contributions.
Then along came covid and my participation here. And then came realization my worldview was a deception of western propaganda.
I had been fooled into supporting the evil western military that was killing undeserving peoples.
I had been fooled into thinking the governments cared about the well being of their citizens only to conclude the governments were evil and attempting to kill their citizens.
My worldview collapsed. There were times that I could barely think. It took time to recover.
Most in the west will never come to the same realizations and conclusions (including my family and friends).
I suspect you are looking to God to help you through these difficult times.
I am looking to nature, myself, family and friends as I chart a new course to survive.
Life goes on until it doesn’t.
One thing nursing taught me is to truly live your authentic life before it ends.
I wish you well.

There are so many approaches to life.
I am considering this that I just found today:
The Hermetic Principles – Ancient Wisdom for a Better Life – The Alchemist”
The seven principles are the foundation of Hermeticism, a branch of spiritual philosophy dating back over 5000 years ago. They were outlined by famed author Hermes Trismegistus, who is believed to have written the Emerald Tablet and the Corpus Hermeticum (two highly influential, ancient teachings).
His work would go on to influence both ancient Greek and Egyptian cultures, with both adopting him as a god of wisdom. (In Greece he was called Hermes; in Egypt, Thoth.) He was known in his time as a great master of the universe and is said to have lived for thousands of years.Over time, the seven hermetic principles were passed down by word-of-mouth from teacher to student, and eventually, one day in the early 20th century, the teachings were compiled into a book called The Kybalion, written by “The Three Initiates.” Today, they remain an occult source of wisdom, separate from any real religion but powerful nonetheless.
And while the seven principles are just one way of understanding the universe, they aren’t so constricting that they cannot be studied alongside other spiritual philosophies.

He argues the U.S. is a dysfunctional state because it spearheads the development of new systems of governance and suffers the consequences, but that the rest of the world shares in those benefits. He explains how China became successful and how the “reset” of the Cultural Revolution played a role. He doesn’t feel the U.S is declining but rather pushing ahead into the networked world. I have found the USA did it vs China did it confusing and still do.
I no longer think it is a country vs country thing.
It seems to be a global elites thing.
It seems to me the elites behind the current USA president likely controlled by London/Davos, likely the ones who relocated the production to China and received years and years of Chinese goods for worthless fiat currency now have to collapse and vacate the West.
