Software engineering used to be the pinnacle of intelligence. Now it’s the first job AI is replacing.
I deeply appreciate how easy it is to mistake highly accurate high speed numerical calculations with low error rates for being some type of “intelligence”. But it is not, and to do so is a very very very very very serious mistake to make.
In other words, AI is artificial alright, but it damned sure isn’t intelligent. An intelligent carpenter uses his hammer as a tool for driving nails. A considerably less intelligent carpenter invents a hammer that doesn’t just drive nails, it decides where to put them. Great way to drive that last nail in the lid of his own coffin.
I like to flatter myself in considering that I may be a contender for the metaphorical title of King of the Metaphorists and in any case I sure do like it more than I should, especially when I get to mix them together.
I bet if you asked Trump if he was humble that he would say he was the humblest person in the whole world, and that his humility was the most humble humility that anyone had ever seen.
On the topic of the true meaning of intelligence I find it ironic beyond words that the world is being run by so-called “Intelligence” agencies”, and “services”, and their Masters. Remember that Spy Masters are nothing but secretive spies themselves. They Masters are just the ones who got to the top of the heap by being the best ones at exercising that strategic and particular job skill. Another way to understand that is that they are the best at the job because they have to be, otherwise they get killed by the guy who wants their job.
The essence of covert intelligence (in the spy-world sense of the word “intelligence”) is in pretended beingness. It consists of pretending to be someone or something that one is not.
It is amazingly effective in getting just about anything that you want, without having to actually do anything for it except lie and pretend. Thieves who know what they want (and they ALL want to have something for themselves, alone, without actually doing what it takes to make that thing will invariable pretend to be the guy who actually can make it and is generous in giving it away for free, so everybody just loves him.
A government, for example, (which is known by all to be a den of liars and pack of thieves) can actually get people to actually still believe what they tell people, despite centuries of lies built of broken promises and false hopes. How do they manage to do that and get away with it like forever?
They do it by pretending to be, and passing themselves off as, the truly good ones who actually do love all people and will sacrifice themselves to keep those loved ones adequately safe and healthy.
Find the demon who is pretending to be an angel and you’ve found your culprit.
Yes, who INDEED ordered the transfer of Ghislaine from High Security prison to Club Fed? Trump, of course. No one else could have had the authority to have made it happen and get away with it. Which raises a number of very serious “Why?” type questions that we all know the answer to but I sure would like to hear the answers spoken in public anyway.
