Those in America not enthralled with the status quo began splintering into ignorant cults in the 60s, lacking a grasp of the true nature of their dilemma, completing the destruction of the patriarchy that created/protected “Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness” from despot rule, replacing it with a namby pamby matriarchy that allows the villains to run the show, unimpeded ~ –We the People became a Nation of strangers…
TPTB expanded into TBTF, raiding the national stores in broad daylight, buying out/controlling every & any move of .GOV that threatened their crimes against humanity.
Now the insanity has reached as apex, where unaccountable entities within and/or funded by the District of Criminals have unleashed biological weapons upon We the People, brazenly stolen a national election, engaged in an actual coup d’etat upon humanity at large, in effect WWIII…
Their endgame is not clear, but thus far it appears the peoples’ refusal/inability to rally into point of commonality in unison bodes extremely bad for the future.

I know that everyone is different, but often when a psychic shift was about to occur in my life, certain songs (or lyrics) would begin to play over and over in my head, imbued with a new sense of meaning or importance that was typically not yet clarified.
For example, many years ago I went through a major life transition that was initiated by a medical emergency, followed by a divorce, and then my walking away from a fundamentalist Christian religion that was a huge part of my life. There was a period of about a year during my separation and divorce in which certain lyrics from R.E.M.’s ‘Losing My Religion’ echoed powerfully in my psyche whenever I heard it:
I think I thought I saw you try
But that was just a dream
That was just a dreamThe above lyrics exemplified my marriage. At the time, I was waiting for my wife to “lift a finger” as it were to try and save the marriage. I felt I had been holding things together for years and now wanted to see the level of her own commitment. When coming home from work each day to the little apartment I had rented, my hope was to find her waiting there on the porch and asking, “Let’s talk”. It never happened, so I got my answer. Next:

Losing my religionIn hindsight the above 3 lyrics are easy. I didn’t know it at the time, but I had begun the process of reclaiming my own sovereignty, and was on my way out of a hierarchical, authoritarian system of control, never to look back. All that I had relied on for stability and meaning was left behind, and I was venturing into the unknown alone.
Sorry for the long biographical intro… anyway, over the past week I’ve been hearing Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’ in my head:

I keep my visions to myselfI’ve yet to relate this to anything personal, but lean more toward it representing a turning point in which a wiser world comes out of its “Mass Formation” hypnosis, as Dr. Mattias Desmet puts it, and proceeds to build a “new world order” of a sort entirely different than that envision by the Stalinist Klaus Schwab. The current “master plan” seems to be unraveling quickly, with greater numbers joining the ranks of the opposition daily. The Joe Rogan interview with Dr. Malone, as well as his suspension from Twitter seem pivotal.
Then again, it could mean nothing.
Regarding Fauci vs Walensky and ongoing supply chains disruptions/inflation.
Walensky is a political appointee. Fauci is a bureaucratic appointee.
The recent quarantine reduction from 10 days down to 5 days is likely the result of the white house realizing that the existing 10 day long quarantine was crippling the supply chain and dimming DNC’s 2022 election prospects. This move was likely carried out by Walensky per instructions.
Fauci on the other hand represents completely different interests. Fauci was likely opposed to the reduction in quarantine time from 10 to 5 days because the chaos it created in supply chains/inflation has successfully driven Fauci’s narrow vested interests very nicely.
So after the “politically” driven quarantine time reduction by Walensky, Fauci, to protect his interests, quickly responded by bringing up a new bureacratic requirement that people could only exit quarantine if they tested negative. Basically Fauci was trying to negate Walensky’s directive.
In addition, Fauci appears to be trying to hijack the vaccine narrative by also trying to change the definition of fully vaxxed to that of triple vaxxxed.
So far Walensky has held firm. Fauci may also be sorely missing his TV tag team mate Collins, who just retired.
I find Rand Paul’s timing in attacking Fuuci, seems to have occurred days after Collins retired.
Maybe the worst of Fauci is now behind us? Or do we just get a worst devil instead?

Your funny sheep video reminds me of the fun timesI had driving in Morroco on the main highway between Marrakech and Casablanca!
While the Sahara Desert in that area is mostly flat there were areas where the terrain took a slight dip. It was there that the local sheep shepards would bunch up their sheep herds beside the highway, out of sight, and wait for unsuspecting folks like me!
As soon as I was at the just right spot, doing 100 km/hr, they would suddenly herd their sheep onto the highway hoping I would nicely plow into their herd and then demand a king’s ransom for killing the most prized sheep in all of Morroco!
.Luckily for me, they were always sadly disappointed!
This also where I would often see an old man riding his donkey, look up and say praise to Allah, before crossing the highway! It became clear to me, very quickly, that the donkey with his head down, was doing all of the driving! Musk wasn’t the first to invent self-driving vehicles!
I’m sad to see what’s being done now to Novak Djokovic, and Aaron Rogers, and others. My impression is that the ruling-class message is only incidentally for them, but primarily for us: “resistance is futile”.

@Oxy: correct. Nature is, indeed, heartless (from man’s perspective – I don’t think it’s a killing machine – it’s a life cycle). However, man does not, indeed, matter much in the greater scheme of things. Man on earth? Man not on earth? Why would nature even care. Man better think about that.
@D Benton: very well written comment. I’d argue that humans don’t evolve upward, but that’s a quibble. We all have our own perspectives. 😉

It’s not “reinfection with the Omicron variant,” it’s reinfection with Omicron and other variants.
We estimated effectiveness of prior infection in preventing reinfection (PES) with Omicron and other SARS-CoV-2 variants in Qatar…
None progressed to critical or fatal COVID-19…
Prior-infection protection against hospitalization or death at reinfection appears robust, regardless of variant.

A bit more from an Antipodean regarding Djokovic in his “Land of Captivity.”
This issue is revealing more than a little incompetence or wilful ignorance or just plain short-sightedness on the part of the Australian Border Farce and/or the federal government. For instance, it should have been made perfectly clear on the visa application form what the requirements for issuance are. No good letting him arrive and then finding fault.
Or if the requirements were not made clear ahead of time, then that reveals bureaucratic ineptitude at least and possibly poorly-drafted legislation or legislation in need of amendment. Amendments are commonly made but they tend to be enacted in batches, so it is possible that a defect in the relevant Act is ready for amendment but it hasn’t happened yet.
Agencies commonly communicate with one another about matters like this to arrive at a decision, so if one agency was happy with him and another wasn’t, then this should have been made obvious in good time.
The Feds as usual are ducking and weaving, blaming everybody but themselves.
Djokovic is doing rather well to have got the Federal Court (second-highest in the land) to examine the matter so soon. Standards exist, and judges like standards. I do hope that the Feds are overruled. The bureaucrats have said that he is free to leave any time he likes. Of course; if he did that then they wouldn’t be drawn into a court case. I rather hope that he stays put.
For Djokovic and others, this affair is providing a wonderful amount of publicity. It’s shining a light in a murky area.

Just playing devil’s advocate, Chooch, but one might look at that chart and say “See what happened when they stopped the lockdowns?”

I had exactly the same thought, followed the this:
I can get the shot three times, and then get Covid, meaning that I get four cumulative exposures to massive amounts of spike protein. Or I can wait until I get Covid, and only have one exposure. All things being equal, I choose one exposure rather than four.
Ah, but all things are not equal, our robot friend deflationista will say: Getting the shot reduces the risk of a serious case. Which may be true, but overlooks there are other proven measures one can also take to reduce the risk of a serious case. I can see how the over 65 and serious co-morbidities crowd might see the risk calculus and very rationally say “I’ll take the three shots.” But I can also see the younger, healthier, Vitamin D supplementing, exercising, ivermectin-taking, fluvoaxamine in the medicine cabinet crowd just as rationally saying “I only want exposure to the spike protein once, not four times.”
