“Why do warmongers always say “Nobody wants a war”?”

Some reason police with guns and psych wardens say “Nobody’s going to hurt you.” Because they’re thinking of nothing but hurting you.

“Nobody in authority is asking how to deescalate this.”

Wow, you are totally right. I took that for granted, but it’s important.

Just thinking further. They need a reset. That takes extremes. The are being picked off steadily, and need to burn the casino to hide the robbery. Where is the casino? New York. So if NYC were to vanish, all the stocks they’ve hypothecated 50:1, which we can see in the naked short positions for years? 20 years? Like there’s twice as many shares worldwide than were issued? Ten times? 100 times? And how many bonds? The Treasury gave the magic pen to the insider broker-dealers. You’re saying they didn’t accidentally create or pretend they have 10%, 50%, 100% more? We’ve seen this in Failures to Deliver and other market arcana. So we have $30T debt? Why not $60T or $300Trillion if you add the broker-dealer hypothecating, counterfeiting if that is true? That’s why they locked up all books with FASB, and refuse all FOIA requests. …Or was it because they’re totally honest and the books are solvent and good?

How do you hide this? The bribery, the records? Like Ukraine, well, with a war. A war there? Sure. But you need to take out NY. Like they did in hurricane Sandy when they all went home AND accidentally left the door of the Fed bank vault open, AND let it flood, AND didn’t notice, AND had all the Bond records there, AND then lost them, AND when they tried to clean it up, it all caught on fire, AND while it was soaking wet. AND the guy who did it was airlifted in a month before, then got a promotion.

…You know, something that doesn’t send up any red flags, that isn’t suspicious, so no major papers in NYC report on it, like that. Because bank guards always leave the doors open, go home, and don’t call anyone. That’s just common sense.

Anyway, nobody’s talking about diplomacy, settling down, peace? Why? Because they all like it. It’s a plan they want and need to go forward, not backward. They need it to flare up, not down. If the war was annoying and disturbing them, they’d get on the phone and stop it. Remember when Syria was winning and Israel or the U.S. wanted a truce, with backsies? They don’t want a ceasefire yet, therefore they are perfectly happy and want it moving forward. Gleeful, in fact. I’ve never seen Ms. Rice so happy in her life.

Bloomberg map showing they’re not interested in Kiev, keeping the idiots busy reporting on the stalled convoy, out of gas from a nation the same people call “a gas station masquerading as a country.” Uh-huh. My bet was they’re waiting for something. Like Kiev to foray out of the city walls to get an injured, flapping bird.

Guess what? They’re locking in the Black Sea as a European embargo, just as suggested here.

Luongo, usually smart, posts this: “MacLeod: Both sides probably do not know how fragile the Eurozone banking system…” Well it would be a world’s biggest coincidence if they didn’t. I mean Kondratieff told Stalin this 70 years ago. Europe knows how bad their books are – it’s their books! And if we all know here, as outside commenters, same as said “Nasdaq is a bubble” and “Subprime is not contained” then I’m preeeeeety sure the FSS and Putin know.

If the US/NATO respond with some kind of guerrilla war here to hang Ukraine like an albatross around Putin’s neck, as we should expect, then Europe is in big trouble financially. Because the financial war will keep escalating as Putin responds militarily. …There is no more War for Ukraine.

I still believe that. This isn’t a war for Ukraine, it’s a war for the future of the entire world. Ukraine represents the hill both Davos and Russia have chosen to live or die on.”

My apologies for making fun of Brzezinski. Ukraine was the flashpoint. Although he still lost it and it only was because NATO made this happen, just like MacKinder.

“Davos has refused to let President Zelensky surrender because if he does then legally there is no more war to sanction Russia with.”

Yes, and at the same time, REFUSED TO HELP. We knew the Anglos surrendered last month, when Biden “slipped” in saying he’d allow it and then our troops withdrew. They’re so d–n broke they’re trying to run the war funding on TikTok donations.

    Luongo’s map?
    Smore
    https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/styles/inline_image_mobile/public/inline-images/Future-Ukraine-Map.png

Worse. Leaving the non-coal, embargo-helpless, troublemaking West STILL on the welfare bleeding NATO and the banks. Remember, Russia just sold that Ukrainian coal in a new contract to China last month.

“Why has Putin not shut off the gas to a Europe that is rapidly running out of it?
Because to do so would target civilian populations. If he’s not targeting civilians in Ukraine to minimize their anger at being invaded, then why would he use that weapon now against civilians in Germany”?

Also he wouldn’t get paid. As an article yesterday pointed out that Can you imagine anyone dumb enough to start a war against their own energy, food, and commodity supplier? Europe can. So if Europe wants to fight in Ukraine, they are paying the cost of both sides of the war. …Which I –think– maybe was part of what Trump told Germany about Nordstream vs NATO spending?

This isn’t rocket surgery, but the West is riddled with brain holes from all the crack they’ve been smoking all these years, it takes a wagonload of clue-by-fours to make them realize up is not down, and the sky is blue, and symbols and signals are not reality, but representations of reality …Which is amazing, and amazing when you think of it that you WOULDN’T press your advantage and take over the whole taco stand when everyone from sea to sea is dumber than Idiocracy, and literally doesn’t know what plants crave. (Fertilizer).

West’s answer: you can’t buy an iPhone in Russia with a Visa card. Um, doesn’t that reduce YOUR sales and profits, Mr. Apple-VISA?

Speaking of bankruptcy: “..over 800,000 people living in Ukraine have left the country to seek shelter from Russian aggression, either permanently or temporarily.”

No people are illegal! Adding a million people with no houses and food won’t cause any trouble at all. They make the United States do it every year and we’ve never been richer, happier, or more approving of a President.

Jan. 6 Panel Accuses Trump of Engaging in ‘Criminal Conspiracy’ (JTN)”

Claim of a conspiracy no one can pin down while literally a conspiracy occurs in plain sight. The conspiracy by several layers of government to withhold evidence, slow trials more or less indefinitely, and publicly smear the accused while refusing a trial and resolution.

“Translation: “the unreal is real, and the real you see with your own eyes, it not real.”
    Every. Day.

Dr. Eastman’s emails may show that he helped Donald Trump advance a corrupt scheme to obstruct the counting of electoral college ballots and a conspiracy to impede the transfer of power,”

As an example. This is the LEGAL PROCESS if someone thinks something improper was done. That’s why the process [Constitutionally] exists. Asking questions is treason. Having open Congressional investigations and debates is insurgency.

How is this “corrupt”, “Obstruction” and “Conspiracy” to request the formal Constitutional review process? A: You used the word “Constitution”. That alone is treason.

“New Zealand Reckons With Aftermath As Smoke Clears On Violent Protests (G.)”

They burned a $40 WalMart tent in a public park? Sedition indeed! Call the Gulags! Apparently Arden and the people in government were never the cool kids and were never invited to New Zealand keg parties.

“ with time I find more and more evidence that all “revolutions” were scripted and staged with big money and foreign government and non-government involved.”

What the…? You only JUST noticed this??? Being a cynic, a progressive skeptical of government? Put down the crack pipe, man.

Some time ago, when The New Yorker (YNYr) was a high class legitimate news source, they ran a report on Ukraine and how and why Crimea was appended to Ukraine by Khrushchev. Like most TNY investigative journalism of that long ago era, the report is lengthy and of great depth but informative to the highest degree. The New York Public Library (NYPL) found it in their digital archives, saying:

The lengthy “Report from Ukraine” by Robert Cullen published in the January 27, 1992 issue of the New Yorker (pp 37 – 57) mentions that Khrushchev transferred Crimea from Russia to Ukraine in 1954.

There are two links to the report at NYPL but may be behind a ‘library card wall’. I recalled this 3 decades later and can vouch its memorability for any who wish to take the effort to read. Once upon a time these were the first drafts of recognisable history. TNYr has profoundly fallen from their standards of those days. Not likely to be found on any twitter, facebook, YT or even that alphabet company.

‘Casualties Worse than WWI & WWII Combined’

    What an understatement!

If EMP works as claimed then two nuclear missiles exploded about 300 miles up would take out all the power grids in Europe. Without power water and gas would soon stop flowing. All electronics would be fried so no phone, car, computer, etc. and most household appliances would not work.

There would be no immediate deaths. All fresh and frozen food would soon rot, but how could you cook it anyway? Barbecues! The shops would soon empty of tinned food but there would be no transport to restock them. This assumes you could get some water. Most of Europe would die within weeks. I would expect most of the northern hemisphere to suffer the same fate.

Worse still, all supply chains would be broken and civilisation would fail. I do not see it could be rebuilt. Our civilisation is built on energy and this is mostly inaccessible without energy!

We would be set back hundreds of years but without the infrastructure. Global population at that time may have been a billion but there will probably be less who survive.

This assumes the war goes nuclear but I can’t see how it won’t.

The US has been installing American-directed military bases in the Ukraine for stockpiling advanced weapons to strike Russia by land, sea, and air.

In these plans for attack deep across the Russian frontier, Ukraine was already a platform with the potential for nuclear battlefield operations without formal admission to the North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO); without acceptance by the NATO member states; without comprehension or vote of approval by the Ukrainians themselves.[…]

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

In my youth I was inundated with end time theology. Thief in the Night (1972 – age 7). When really bad Tstorms rolled through I used to check to see if people I knew got raptured away without me. Then came the Late Great Planet Earth (1978 – age 13). By the time I went to college, the idea of Armageddon involving Russia was a potential reality in my mind. Reagan was president at the time. Contemplating going in to the military after college, I took Russian as an elective, just in case I became a POW.

Fortunately, by the time I became a father I had different understanding about life and it’s purpose and meaning and didn’t pass that nonsense on to my children. It’s funny, you spend half your life getting indoctrinated and the second half undoing it.

Ironically, my enemy now is the neocon globalist parasites and find myself rootin for Putin.

    phoenixvoice,

If we could only get more of it (time). It seems the stand taken by the truckers in Canada is having quite the ripple effect. There was one convoy that fizzled out, I believe they were trying to get to DC by the time of state of the union address. This one, the peoples convoy, seems to have some momentum. Lee Dundas and Indiana’s attorney general also spoke last night. Probably more than 100 semis but less than 200. Plenty of RVs and pickups too. They headed out for Ohio today. Updates progress/provided here.

The health freedom rallies I attended last fall did not have this level of awareness or support but get the impression that is changing in our state and the AG is planning to run for Governor in 2024.

There is another convoy that left Spokane and is headed to DC. It’s called the freedom convoy. They are stopping in Spiceland, IN Saturday and heading out Sunday. Rally from 8am to 10am Sunday.

Murray (link at top post) makes some good points.

The boosting of Putin, as an evil madman gone nuts, or as a Christian anti-W savior of a kind, serves many, as Murray points out, the emphasis on the MIC earnings, Yes.

    ——————

Media , MSM – prop aimed at ignoring / neglecting general economic-politics in favor of demonising some Personas and adulating others while latching onto various crazy memes.

The W Press does not report that Putin is your regular post-communist Lib Pol Leader.

The protests against his Gvmt. in Moscow (and Regions) have been considerable!, re. concentrating Med. Care (i.e. closing regional hospitals, firing docs, demoting nurses, reducing staff, care beds, etc.), upping the Pension Age (biggest protests), demolishing old Soviet lodging quarters, and much more.

All moves similar to those in Europe. The ‘popular’ protests against the Russia United Gvmt. are the same as in various EU countries, France maybe best example.

The W media can’t report on this, because it would normalise Putin as an ordinary neo-something pol, similar to Hollande, now Macron, Bojo, etc. So he has to be painted as an evil dictator or a savior!

Goddam WordPress keeps eating my homework… I’ll try breaking it up

It’s hard to express the sadness and rage I feel after yesterday’s riot police attack on the NZ protesters. All the main news media turned their back and turned off their live feeds. The only genuine footage to emerge was captured on cellphones.
Tear gas, pepper spray, water cannon and sonic controls, all used by police, who descended in the many hundreds.
    https://thebfd.co.nz/2022/03/03/the-tyranny-is-upon-us-all/
At first the protester’s resistance was peaceful – they linked arms and refused to be dragged away. The cops responded with violence. Later in the day, mask-wearing, brick-throwing Antifa “mysteriously” joined the protesters and the violence escalated:

The MSM have all reported in lockstep the PMs characterisation of the protesters as rioters who deserved what they got.
I hadn’t realised the conflict was still ongoing all day, so it was 7pm before I got down there. The protesters were pretty much gone, but there were still hundreds of police surrounding the district. Which for anyone who knows Wellington is not a large area. A huge forklift from the port was there to move the large concrete barriers the police had installed.
I was feeling outraged and bolshey and got in the face of several of the cops there. They were impressive in terms of deescalating our discussion. Between repeating the official line, they quietly made it understood they weren’t comfortable with what had taken place.
Then most of the cops formed ranks and marched out, leaving a handful to tidy up the pizza boxes off the concrete barricades. The police helicopter that had been hovering all day left. I took a photo of the beehive, with a couple of cops standing outside the level 9 office of Ardern surveying the carnage below. Try as I did, I couldn’t take it all in. I was both outraged and numb simultaneously.
I logged in this morning and tried to work, but by mid-morning I had to call in sick and logoff. Sick to the stomach, sick to the soul. My work colleagues all cheery and apparently oblivious to the ongoing descent of the country into a tyrannically led shithole.
This open letter to Ardern posted today by an NZ business owner captures it so well:

    From the Saker

    https://thesaker.is/us-is-repeating-the-same-mistakes-from-afghanistan/

US is repeating the same mistakes from Afghanistan

    The Clown Show rides again!

“Of the approximately $145 billion the U.S. government spent trying to rebuild Afghanistan, about $83 billion went to developing and sustaining its army and police forces, according to the Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, a congressionally created watchdog that has tracked the war since 2008. The $145 billion is in addition to $837 billion the United States spent fighting the war, which began with an invasion in October 2001.

The $83 billion invested in Afghan forces over 20 years is nearly double last year’s budget for the entire U.S. Marine Corps and is slightly more than what Washington budgeted last year for food stamp assistance for about 40 million Americans.

“….And despite all these catastrophic mistakes, Americans are repeating the same story in Europe. The United States pumped Ukraine with weapons and pushed it into war with Russia. In addition, the Kyiv regime, in the throes of its defeat, distributed more than 240,000 small arms into the hands of prison-released gangsters and fanatical mentally ill nationalists. In the near future, Russian troops will defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and at the same time they will squeeze out armed radicals from Ukraine, who will end up in Europe and significantly change the crime situation there, plunge calm European cities into chaos. As always, only Washington, which does not need a calm and well-fed Europe, will win.”

“The people of Europe are expected to sacrifice themselves in order to support NATO.”

It’s just the usual #OppositeLand. NATO is supposed to protect Europeans, therefore it sacrifices them.

From article: “I believe that these chronically low oil prices ultimately brought down the top layer of the government of the Soviet Union.”

Yes. J o’Seven said he was top-level involved in that and it’s SPECIFICALLY what they did and it worked perfectly. Reagan didn’t want to WIN the Cold War, he wanted to END the Cold War, and the MIC never forgave him. They wanted to nuke, murder, and conquer, which you see we would have nothing in the way of the oligarch world government. This was done openly: Rus had only a few exports for currency: gold, wheat, oil. We ordered Saudi to pump and leveled all of Texas. We ordered Canada to sell every last ounce who are still broke today, and we dropped wheat. At the same time, flooded USSR with U.S. dollars. Nobody cared how. They’d send a truckload of US$ for the worst inside leak about paper clip production, because that wasn’t the point. Once we had all the generals with a kitty of US$ to fall back on, they attacked the Ruble. Kondratieff told Stalin the Ruble was subject to attack if it was in a free-trade system, a thing they learned with E. Germany sucking 100% of Soviet production out of the country until they built a wall. So London suddenly dumped all the rubles the West had been slowly hoarding for 20 years, while increasing the US$, dropping all possible export funding. Worked like a charm. Soviet had no support, collapsed, and then we were supposed to reap our dividend of brotherhood and world peace. Instead, Poppa Bush got in charge and started saying “NWO” like 165 times. Clinton doubled down and bombed the smallest Slav, Serbia to see if they’d react. Then they looted for 20 years. The rest is history.

They just tried this again in Ukraine, using it as an economic back door but the Ruble has no debt and is backed with gold, no dollars. Failing that, just started weapons hoarding and bio-lab creating for Operation Barbarossa Part Deux.

So chronically low (or high) prices? Yes, of course. But we have the very same weaknesses. Now we’re the ones hollowed out with a collapsing currency. And it’s called the PETRO dollar. Russia now owns the “Petro” part, so we won’t long own the “dollar”.

From the Article: “Russia realized that the rest of the world is utterly dependent upon its fossil fuel exports.”

“The world economy should have known about the importance of fossil fuels”

They did, that’s why they attacked, leveled, and invaded Russia. That’s why they have been relentless in attacking them now. Without conquering Russia and getting the oil, their whole world plan collapses. Cheney wasn’t wrong when he demanded we nuke them in 1995 when they were still weak. Evil, soulless, calculating, and murderous, yes, but not wrong. It’s also why they need to both bottle up and attack Iran. But that what was formerly a huge issue now barely registers against the problem of Russia.

“Few people in America and Europe realize that the world economy is entirely dependent upon Russia’s exports of oil, coal and natural gas.”

Yes, this is on purpose or we’d all say “Heeeeeyyyy…I smell a rat.” How did OUR oil get under THEIR country? And why is Russia the most important nation in the world?” Yes, better not to admit and fire anyone who does.

“North America has historically played only a very small role in natural gas exports; it is questionable whether North America can ramp up its total natural gas production”

Duh, we can’t; we never could. We were supposed to overturn and conquer Russia. That’s why no LNG ships or ports were built. We built one or two to have SOMETHING to point at, but nobody’s really that stupid. The only plan was ever to attack, kill, and sell Russia. Like all failing dictators entering the graveyard of dreams.

Post failed, breaking it up (Part A):

Elect a demented clown, expect Clown World War…

Earlier today, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, called on Xbox and PlayStation — which are owned by Microsoft and Sony respectively to take action against customers in Russia and Belarus. Fedorov called on the video game giants to “temporarily block all Russian and Belarusian accounts”, adding to mounting cultural pressure on the two nations. He also called for all Russian and Belarusian esports teams to be temporarily barred from competition going forward.

Lastly, Fedorov called for all upcoming international esports tournaments set to take place in Russia and Belarus to be cancelled. “We are sure that such actions will motivate the citizens of Russia to proactively stop the disgraceful military aggression,” Fedorov wrote in a letter.

President Joe Biden wants Congress to send him $10 billion to help Ukraine fight Russia, according to a letter from his administration seen Thursday.

“We are requesting $10 billion to deliver additional humanitarian, security, and economic assistance in Ukraine and the neighboring region in the coming days and weeks,” Biden’s acting budget director Shalanda Young wrote in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Young said the money would be used for humanitarian assistance and additional defense equipment to help them defend against Russia’s invasion. It would also help fund Biden’s decision to send American forces to surrounding countries.
