I can’t say why, but they are finally realizing that, you know, makin’ stuff is required for war. With energy. Redneck. Okaaaaay. I say it all the time. You did notice that government collapsed and vanished 35 years ago, right? Like, you noticed you’re not living under an aboriginal tribal council? That government fell and was replaced with another one called “Australia”.
Being a police officer taught me that many people, being unused to high stress or tense or chaotic situations, will take the “fright” option and lock down, go tharn (lapine), or whirl inside with all the confusions and indecisions their imaginative minds pursue in a very short span. As the tiktoker is saying, she was spending that time thinking and pondering what many do: “What do I do?”
What I also learned is this. People who commit crimes regularly, people who fought in active combat, people who suffered traumatic abuse and formed disassociative habits/practices, they know what they can do, will do and do do. And, of course, people who work as “first responders” learn how to overcome the ordinary and instinctual paralysis of the sudden shock. I kinda think it’s itself a form of trauma to teach children this way, but soft forms occur through rough play, competitive sports, tree climbing, and running in traffic. Either way, adrenaline and unknowing a person can learn to move through, get past, with training and exposure. Because a lot of normies don’t live dangerous lives or live close to crime, they don’t have the exposure to learn from.
You also learn many don’t do anything because they are habituated to watch and take amusement in the situation, and the versatility in having a portable movie studio and broadcasting device in the palm of one’s hand encourages this. For example, you might even say constantly posting links to the same situations, calling attention to the multiple car wrecks at multiple intersections like YouTube videos some twenty minutes long, is part of this phenomenon. It’s not “bystanding” in fear as much as it is a way of becoming a part of a larger entertainment and self-publishing social approach. It’s not documentary, not journalism, not social analysis. It is standing on the shore, watching the ship wreck, and marveling at one’s own life, one’s own fate, one’s own joy or horror, in being the person who gets to watch without suffering. Maybe it’s a way of coping with inability to change things, maybe it’s schadenfreude, maybe it’s an automatic unthinking habit, but lots of ordinary people stand around and use all the power in the palm of their hand to record, hyperlink, lather, rinse and repeat. Lots of ordinary, everyday people.

If a hostile action is taken against your best interests (or perhaps against you specifically) it is fully logical to conclude (not assume) that you were the INTENDED target and that the perpetrator considers (rightly or wrongly) you to be an actual enemy and as very much NOT THEM in any meaningful way.
Take the FBI and all of the other other sprawling US Government institutions like DoD, CDC and CIA for examples. They do not see you as being on their side in any way whatsoever. Their actions prove it pretty conclusively, dontcha think? Do you see them doing any of those nasty things to THEMSELVES? I found in my own life that while trauma could train me to rush into a course of action in the short term, that in the long term it was more difficult to focus generally, that I was anticipating the next traumatic event during times of calm, unable to let go of the hypervigilance. It has taken years to get beyond this, years of “being kind to myself.”

As I told him before, the great thing about Civilization is that it maintains about 1,000 or so spent nuclear fuel cooling pools.
If civilization has a Fast Crash, a Slow Crash, or just degrades enough, then it will not be able to maintain those pools. When not maintained, they boil off the water, then ignite, cooking up globally lethal amounts of radiation into the atmosphere.
ONE failed pool full of tens of thousands of rods is arguably enough to kill the entire planet, but these facilities typically have multiple pools. ONE pool cooking up will make the other 5 non-maintainable. Non-approachable. They’ll cook up as well.
Typically a country using nuclear power has more than one plant. When a region becomes sufficiently radiation-poisoned, multiple cooling facilities each possessing multiple pools, each containing tens of thousands of nuclear fuel rods, will become non-maintainable.
Yes, we get it that Structures™ are Oppressive™. We get it.
We get that, via re-branding, those structures can be Patriarchy™, Whiteness™, Capitalism™, Climate™, Civilization™, or anything really. The main thing is that we Criticize™ ie be relentlessly corrosive towards Structures™. It isn’t exciting secret knowledge, it’s boring repetitive claptrap.

No, the most merciful thing isn’t actually 8 billion people dying, with the 1,000 spent nuclear fuel pools cooking up and killing absolutely everything. No, if you care about The Biosphere, The Climate, The Planet, then you want Civilization more than anything ever in your life.
Isn’t it interesting how a variety of people – Naomi Wolf, for example – have started to describe the overall trends & forces of our time as satanic, demonic? Myself as well. What business does an ivy league educated feminist liberal woman have explaining the current trends as demonic in origin?
Whenever I do a back & forth with someone dedicated to the current Corrosiveness Of Everything, closet neo-marxism, whatever, at bedrock, it always turns out to be a hatred for human consciousness and objective reality. Those joined-at-the-hip basic things.
And what can you call that? All that exists and that which can apprehend it to give it meaning? Existence? Creation? I reject God and all his works? All-encompassingly? Nothing else fits the bill as an easy thumbnail-reference. Demonic.
