“When you get the coronavirus, the official CDC recommendation to treat a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever is to lower the rate hedge funds can borrow at from 1.5% to 0%, and increase Treasury purchases to $200 billion per month.”

This is why half the Corona task force are economists. What does that tell you? Maybe it’s an economic attack, not a medical one? A real biovirus would kill people.

China Pharma Exports Cut Would “Plunge US into Mighty Sea of Coronavirus” (ZH)”

Hilarious, thanks. So that’s another industry we can move home instead of paying you to run. Employment + national security + insider control + free money to set it up. You know, like they just did re-opening and re-shoring rare earths in a hurry. And YOU’RE the guys who made it possible, convincing Americans it’s a good idea.

Huh. Yet we can’t do THIS in a hurry. Why? Funny ol’ world.

“Trump Attacks Biden’s Cognitive Health (G.)”

The Guardian. ‘Nuff said. He doesn’t need to “attack” anyone, Biden speaks for himself.
Anyway, reality time, they need Biden to get in, pick VP, then bow out for “health”, and then Hillary/Michelle pick THEIR VP, all legal and official-like.

Romney Says US Senate Republican Probe of Biden Appears Political (R.)”

Ah, only because Ukrainians are not real people but animals, Untermensch we who we don’t care about, Ukraine has ORDERED the U.S. to investigate this, via their 1995 Clinton treaty. And are they investigating Joe, or Hunter, who is not even in government but an ordinary citizen like you and I? A: Never. My side right or wrong. After 4 years of investigations meant to overthrow democracy and rig the ’18 & ’20 election, apparently finding nothing, then if you even SUGGEST that we investigate the other guy, ’cause fair’s fair, it’s illegal. Always for me, none for thee. Forever and ever, amen. We can take out, arrest, and remove Chris Collins, no problem, no comment, but cannot investigate any Democrat, anywhere, ever. We cannot even ask QUESTIONS about them. That’s freedom!

Senator Schumer Expresses Regret For Supreme Court Comments (R.)

Uncalled for, but I wouldn’t go crazy. I’m more interested in how they know which way they’ll vote already. Kavanagh voted PRO-abortion last time. Didn’t help. It’s facts, so no one cared. And I thought there were no “Obama Judges” or “Trump judges” because they were all unbiased as driven snow. Only the Democratic ones are? Because we are baffled and have no idea how RBG and Sotomayor will vote? Huh.

Brain attack of brain virus indeed. Mine hurts from it.

Elizabeth Warren’s Campaign Fell Apart in The Fall, and It Never Recovered (IC)”

She went full Bernie (falsely) and as we now know, the DNC base doesn’t like Bernie. Not that they aren’t cheating too in Iowa and with Bloomberg, and just today, with Tulsi again, but not to this level. And probably set back women by a generation, thanks Liz.

FBI Agents Linked to Carter Page Surveillance Barred From FISA Process”

That can’t be, they were also pure as the driven snow. And yet if so, didn’t something illegal happen? And no one goes to jail? Good to know that Vietnam will be able to provide test kits for everyone in America. At ten thousand kits a day we should have everyone tested in about a 100 years.

THE CON VIRUS IS RUNNING WILD

Larry K. is running at the mouth. Stock market going down, down, Buy, buy, time to buy, convirus is oiling the printing press, there are job, jobs repeat, repeat, its not dementia, do not over react.

People buy toilet paper because they are panicking or “shitting themselves”

    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db355.htm
Mortality in the United States, 2018

The con virus is a new cause of death. Therefore, some other cause must be going down. (…. 3.6% then 8% then 14.8% when your 80 yrs old)

Be nice to your grand parents before the medical establishment puts them in the poor house.

Who will pay the mfg., and the testers when they test you, and the homeless for the convirus?

Is the USA going to let the homeless die in the street because they cannot pay for a bed in a care home or a hospital?

Pompeo blasted China for its lack of transparency.

“That’s not the way infectious disease doctors tell me it should work. It’s not the way America works with transparency and openness and the sharing of the information that needs to take place.”

(Hey Mr. Pompeo, we’ve got Julian Assange on the other line…please, please tell us again how transparency and openness works here in America. He’s dying to know)

I appreciate the range of sources found on this site. On the other hand I don’t think we need to read every little thing Jonathon Turley has to say.. Or Jim Kunstler. At least Kunstler can write and he’s a fun read. That first paragraph of Turley’s is unintelligible. Unless you know exactly what he is trying to say, it makes no sense. You’d think he could afford an editor.

Hey Dr. Remember that report of the three crematoria in Wuhan burning out from overuse? The way things are progressing in Europe and North America we will soon find out whether our crematoria are of a more robust construction.

I think we in the west are now entering the exponential phase of the coronavirus.

Cases doubling or tripling every day now.

In Canada and the US we are still limited to just a few hundred tests per day.

Vice President Mike Pence on Friday said 21 people on the Grand Princess cruise ship moored off the coast of California have tested positive for coronavirus.

Of the 21 people who tested positive, 19 are crew members and two are passengers, Pence said, adding that the ship will be brought to a non commercial port and every person tested. “Those who need to be quarantined will be quarantined,” Pence said in a briefing.
There are more than 3,500 people aboard the ship.

    Raul:. Interesting picture re-1900.

The bananas displayed were the original more tasty Gros Michel bananas that got wiped out in the 1950s by the Panama disease or banana wilt.

Today we eat the Cavendish banana which is resistant to the Panama disease.

However, a new worse fungus has developed that attacks Cavendish bananas and many other banana varieties.

There are 520 Filipino crew members aboard the Grand Princess off of California. This is a real “Voyage of the Damned”. The Trump Administration could care less what happens to them. It will be a replay of the Diamond Princess. The quarantine will break. The passengers and crew dispersed to infect others unless the State of California prevents it.

Charles Hugh Smith is correct. This is a binary situation.
    charleshughsmith.blogspot.com/2020/03/the-gathering-storm-could-covid-19.html

Either there is a miracle (Donald J Trump is connected to higher powers) or science is correct. Covid-19 will overwhelm the USA in the months ahead. Unlike China, Singapore and South Korea, America is incapable and didn’t even try to dampen down and extend the epidemic. Inequality, offshoring and greed fatally weakened Western government. The hotspots from this and that cruise ship (NY. MD & CA), other overseas travelers and airport screeners will merge. The USA will literally crash into a pandemic depression until a safe and effective vaccine is available. Millions will die. The for-profit healthcare system overwhelmed. The survivors will be young, healthy, isolated, preppers and damn lucky. For the duration of the epidemic there will be no supply and no demand except those taking a risk to supply and get life’s essentials.

VietnamVet:. What I would really like to know is what we’re the thousands of people inside the CDC doing between the time President Trump shutdown flights from China in early January up until now?

I remember when he stopped the flights from China, the big uproar of indigination from all the Democrats in congress and media.

Were the CDC people deliberately sitting on their hands as instructed by the Democrats????

It sure looks like it! Obviously the CDC did nothing to prepare for this coronavirus!

Pointing the finger at the one man who has been fighting the deep state tooth and nail since the day he arrived, just seems far too easy. The blame game sure as hell doesn’t help a single person.

    The right way
Look at the way first responders are dressed in China when dealing with a patient that is contaminated with a deadly virus. Notice full body protection. Top of head to bottom of feet.

Now look at the USA pictures. ie. Moving a patient on a stretcher and holding up a sheet for privacy but the person is not wearing any protection gear. Keep looking and you will find many deficiencies.
I think the virus is going to spread.

You can take that to the bank.
The Keystone Cop response to the pandemic, that’s in their face, should speak volumes to just how far the U.S. has fallen.
U.S. society is well broken; there is no possibility of repairing it…
A new paradigm must be found; or the vaccum will be filled by the worst of the worst…
My fear is that is already happening; cv-19 is a handy, if deadly, distraction…

Hey! My state has joined the eerily bluestatish map of cases of Sars-CoV-2 (US).
    I hope she’s okay.
I have a picture of a cruise ship on my refrigerator (which still accepts magnets) that has my sharpie heading on it: THIS IS HELL.
You couldn’t PAY me enough to take a cruise ship voyage. i feel claustrophobic just thinking of it. And the tiny towns that are ruined with the tourism… Ah, yes , money, money, money… but at what cost?
What are the other benefits of this Covid nightmare? I wanted a market correction, for example, but i was hoping it would be a correction of value. I did not wish that value itself would evaporate.
Geez. I almost want to take out a loan- my parents did alright with their cheap mortgages- 4% when mine was 14%. A 2.5% loan… what could go wrong?

I would like to give a shout out to Cathal Haughian, who said on feb 15, 2020 that in five days the reset would begin. if you haven’t heard of him, check him out. He was the first guy I knew to use the term “reset” [as it is meant now], and I think I will bury my copies of his three books in a time capsule in my back yard.
    Cheers, Putrid!

Of some personal consolation; Thailand is rated 6th best healthcare in the world.
The 48 confirmed cases in Thailand thus far break down to 16 still being treated in medical facilities, 31 recovered and one dead.
My wife and I are both well covered by her government healthcare (she was a civil servant).
Fortunately we’re both healthy with no underlying health issues.
    So far so good…lots of Vita-C & D3…

“let the homeless die in the street”

Actually, being homeless is the only way you CAN get a hospital bed. Nobody working can afford it. We can get one, but they’ll take the house and car and then we WILL be homeless. #Irony. We provide services only to those who don’t work and can’t pay for them. If you work: get lost. No soup for you. Die in a hole. Maybe not productive for the building of more masks and beds?

I think we in the west are now entering the exponential phase”

Maybe, but somebody needs to show me some numbers. No test kits, fine, where are the ICU patients?

“LAX and DHS have been testing all the screeners”

Problem: all over, the tests don’t work and are negative.

This is a binary situation. …Trump is connected to higher powers…”

Not really. They’re lying. But the problem is WHERE are they lying? Millions will die, but millions die every year and no one ever cared before. They encouraged it. 30-60K/yr opioids and they couldn’t get enough! We have 11. Now they care? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. We’ve passed vending machine deaths, are we up to lightning strikes? Or diarrhea? Probably not. Certainly not flu or heart disease which has killed 100,000-odd while we’ve been talking.

    big uproar of indigination”

Ah! Seems like only yesterday a GOP Congressman saying China –might– be less-than-forthcoming with us was shouted down as the height of dangerous unhinged tinfoil hat conspiracy theories, because –NOTHING– was happening and it was all made up. How times change. Now only a week later the same GOP congressmen saying it’s not ebola-zombie-apocalypse-armeggedon-from-Mars are the dangerous tinfoil-hat conspiracy-denier-haters, because they won’t say it’s bad enough for CNN. The guy who they would impeach for shutting down travel again is now they guy who denies science and never did nothin’. #Logic! It’s always a million-billion degrees or absolute zero, no in-between.

“Cathal Haughian” The other cycles guys said too, Charles Nenner and Bo Polny and probably Armstrong. Of course that’s market only. Asked what would cause it, they said, “I dunno!!! Because that’s the cycle.” In the up, bad news in good news for every reason (lately, the Fed will print) and in down cycles, good news is bad news. So it isn’t the news at all, then, is it? It isn’t the events. Costco never made such profits as Q1 sales just now. No one cares. We all knew there would be a reset. We just didn’t think they could delay it for a lifetime: 20 years. But that’s the cycle. For decades, everyone knew things had to change, thousands protest, then one day one unknown priest nails a paper to a door. Boom! Time/cycle now opens. He just happened to be standing there. But I said we’d have a reset right now from their actions, T and the Fed were setting it up and pulling the plug way back, specifically Sept 14th 2019. Which they said they would. Because what can’t go on, won’t.

Question is, they were planning to drop it, trap the shorts, and spiral dizzily into Nov 2020 election. Will that plan be derailed now? Nenner says so at least, we’ve seen the high. But this is a yawn: it was always going to happen, we all said it going way back, people like Polny even picked the day. No one noticed when Spanish Flu killed people. Even a few years later it wasn’t in any movies, only dry history books. Same now. Life goes on, perennial as grass.
