Don’t know and don’t really care if The US went to the moon. I just always wondered if an endeavor with that high a probability for failure would have been broadcast live.
I will say for sure that the vehicle assembly building at the Cape was impressive. There is really no way that one can appreciate the size of the vehicle that carried the launch vehicles from the assembly building to the launch pad without having seen one.
