I still am working on the correct descriptor for those who mislead us. I cannot stand the commonly used term ‘elites’ because there is nothing in any way elite about any of them.
I toyed with the term The Turds At The Top -TTATT. But now I am inclined replace the word turds with tyrants or terrorists.
The Terrorists At The Top is a pretty accurate descriptor, since what they do is terrorise the masses into compliance with absurd and counterproductive rules and regulations.
The Tyrants At The Top is also accurate. We are seeing this tyrannical aspect more and more with people like Adern, who really could not care less about the welfare of anyone other than the ‘club’ that she and her fellow conspirators belong to. She is certainly prepared to ‘club to death’ anyone who gets in her way. And as for the country that she pretends to represent, well she is more than happy to see that utterly ruined in every way possible -financially, economically, culturally, socially, environmentally…..
Whilst I highlight Adern, the same maniacal pursuit of destructive and counterproductive policies and indifference to the suffering of the bulk of the populace applies to the misleaders throughout all NATOstan nations.
Maybe I should just refer to them all as The Maniacs At The Top, TMATT.

It is noted that the price of diesel exceeds the price of petrol for the first time ever in NZ. And the price of both is destined to rise soon.

So this is why we have 4 weeks per month (moon phases) which are each seven days, but when they went solar calendar, that no longer matches up, in addition, the Roman calendar was so abused with adding days and weeks to add time to tamper with elections (no, really, Hereletmegooglethatforyou.com) that “Dece-mber” is now the 12th month, and not Deca, the 10th month. “Oct-ober” is now the 10th month and not the 8th. So it is a race. The USA is going to be running a terrorism campaign in Russia with the intention of goading Russia into expanding the military effort particularly into a NATO country, which would trigger NATO which would give the USA a “reason” to be in Europe. On the other hand, Russia is happy to let Europe’s politicians battle with massive energy and standard of living protests which will likely replace the politicians with more pro-citizen politicians who will do an energy deal with Russia.
The tricky bit for Putin is that a terrorist campaign by the USA will need to be seen by the Russian people as being fought with significant repercussions for the USA/UK/Ukraine cabal. They could kill Zelensky, but then a replacement would be installed by the USA. Putin’s problem is how to get the USA to stop attacking Russia? The USA is spending money but not losing people, so it can keep doing this fight as long as the USD exists or until Europe throws them out. If the European people see Russia as the aggressor, they may continue to side with the USA even during the mass protests. Putin needs the people of Europe to want to work with Russia.

Went to a gardening event at the arboretum Saturday, followed by the farmers market. At both, there were still a few true believers, outside at the events, dutifully wearing their duck bill masks. Standing outside! Sometimes you’ll see a family, with their kids all masked. I just look at these people and just cannot believe it. What the hell is going on? I want to walk up to them and ask. In my new small town there was never more than about 50% compliance, a whole control group of people who never wore the masks. A local Christian school with several hundred students who have been going on like the pandemic never happened since the summer of 2020! It’s a story much like the Amish… On the note a community of people (anabaptists) about 30 minutes away never acknowledged the pandemic either, same story. No deaths anywhere out there. They serve thousands at their bakery and cheese making facility, they are world renowned for their cheese.

Lately I feel a sense of apathy possibly due to being tense about the situation for so long but also due to the contrast of viewpoints. My favorite term right now is “WEFfers.” It has the benefit of rolling easily off the tongue, not too many syllables, and directly references the world economic forum.
A week ago I was contacted by my friend/client at the local retirement community asking whether or not I’d be willing to teach a class there in the spring about how to use Android smartphones. (A group of formally recognized residents arranges “life-long learning classes” for residents with paid teachers.) I said that was fine, however, I would have to teach the class in person — it isn’t a class that I could teach on Zoom. (In 2020, at my urging, I taught classes on how to use Zoom, via Zoom. In 2021, a normal set of classes ensued — but mine all remained on Zoom, because I was unvaccinated. Meanwhile, currently I can come there, unmasked, even attend and participate (perform/sing) in public events, but I am barred from teaching these classes in person due to my unvaxxed status.) Now, apparently, the “Life Long Learning Committee” folks are finally able to see that this situation is ridiculous, and have apparently had themselves a long discussion about it and resolved to take it up with the administration, insisting that I be permitted to teach in person. (Before, when I pointed out to these same people that the policies were unjust and discriminatory I would receive the lame response that, well, people were scared and “so many people have died,” and I was invited to take it up with the administration on my own. That emotion is part of the natural and healthy progression that is sometimes called The 5 Stages of Grief, which could just as easily and accurately be called the 5 Stages of Acceptance of Reality. Hang tough, stick with it, and eventually one can accept that there are certain realities that have been SO bad that we chose and preferred not to believe that they are , simply, real.
More planets than seconds? Somebody’s bad at math. So you’re telling me more than 1 planet was created every second since the universe began, and this doesn’t set off any alarm bells for your theory? Do you even know how large a planet is?
There are about 3X10^7 seconds in a year. If the big ban happened 14 billion years ago that meas about 4X10^17 seconds. If there are 10^11 galaxies each with 10^11 stars that equals 10^22 stars so thousands of planets got created for every second of the universe’s existence.
A 10 year old human has lived for about 3X10^8 seconds and has around 3X10^13 cells in his/her body. That’s thousands of cells created for every second of their life. Also sounds unbelievable but true. The exponential function strikes again.
